  • Today we take Japan's fastest bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. The Shinkansen Nozomi 15 is (apparently) the fastest bullet train in Japan.
We've absolutely loved our time in Tokyo, by far our favorite city so far! But we're ready to explore Kyoto now.
So join us as we travel from Tokyo to Kyoto on Japan's Shinkansen bullet train!

Yeah, people are calm in transit in Japan because they usually are very early. No rush, no panic. But places do get crowded especially Tokyo, because there's almost 40 million people in that megalopolis.

If you want to get on the Shinkansen in Japan, buy Ekiben at the station in advance and eat it on the train. There are many kinds of Ekiben. You can't say you got on the Shinkansen unless you eat Ekiben. You don't want to stand in line for delicious restaurants in Japan, but restaurants with lines are such popular and famous markers for delicious restaurants. If you don't want to stand in line, you can go to Yoshinoya's Gyudon or convenience store. It's cheap, fast, and the taste is not bad. Since you came all the way to Japan, you should follow the rules to stand in line and eat delicious Japanese food. Foreigners are impatient. In Japan, it's a rule and a manner to stand in line. Don't you need expensive unnecessary tips like in foreign countries?

I assume the meal portions are not what you expected is bcoz most asians are half your size. I am like Dan, I get really cranky when I’m hungry and I tried to be better and prepared coz usually my wife has to deal with my unpleasant attitude and it takes away the fun of traveling😂
