Nice train trip to Edinburgh i did say they had a lounge at Euston I am surprised how much it has changed since the 80s The dinning car looks really good I would have to go on that to experience it. Loved it when you told Karoline to turn the light out such a cute moment and her face when she took hold of the Iron Brew.
It's changed because in the '80s it was the BR stock but a few years ago Cal Sleeper bought new rolling stock from Spanish train firm CAF. Main difference today is that the better accommodation is en suite.
Thanks for sharing Jean! Yes they do and it’s brand new! Loved how we could chill in that guest lounge with the drinks and snacks before heading off 😍 We wanted to integrate our sleep masks from Manta Sleep quite smoothly but it was pure improvisation haha - we really had a great time during the whole ride so we hope you can see the energy ❤️
I agree with Karolina- I think Irn Bru tastes like bubblegum! It seems like there are so many opinions on the flavor though. Definitely the second national drink of Scotland after whisky!
I booked for an overnight from your link London to Edinburgh based on your video and not so positive other reviews and video. Traveling with a 14 year old, I wanted him to have the experience. The experience is individualized. I know I won't have your experience and not others but it will be my own experience and memory of the ride. Good video. Thank you for this one and many of your other videos.
I have always been admiring people who choose sleeper trains/buses over daily travelling 🫣 but with the experience you have shown, no longer have I doubts it can be smooth, comfortable and time saving!! 🚂💺🙌🏼
Couldn't agree more! The Caledonian Sleeper was like the best adventure and an extremely comfortable train journey in one also we are sure that everyone would enjoy this experience very much ❤️
Totally agree with you on that, their trip to Liverpool, my home town was the first blog that I saw of theirs. The Liverpool blog was great (glad they liked my home city). They are very light-hearted, well spoken and seem like a lovely couple.
Really interesting RUclips and great photography. Cal Sleeper is popular with foreign visitors who like the Scottish theme and who save on a night's hotel accommodation. But Cal Sleeper runs at a loss and that's why it was nationalised by the Scottish gov't last year (previous operator Serco handed back the keys).
Thank you so much Alex :) We wouldn't have expected that because the experience in itself is really amazing... so we hope the trips will be just as great because they deserve to continue 🎉🚂🏞️🤩
Wow you guys I think that hall way was the same size as a plane isle!! Even as little as Karolina is she barely seems to fit. Can’t wait for the video!!!
Haha the carriage hallway was quite narrow, but the cabin room was very well-planned! So we didn't mind that much :) Loved the whole adventure! As you can guess, our next video will be posted from beautiful Edinburgh ❤️🏴
Hi Jay i take it your British with your accent if so have you taken Karolina on the UK 's 2nd sleeper train, the night Riviera from London's Paddington station to Penzance? if you haven't then i would recommend you take her to travel on iit and go through Devon and Cornwall crossing the iconic Isambard Kingdom Brunel Bridge called Royal Albert Bridge which links Devon and Cornwall and stands between Plymouth and Saltash and spans the River Tamar,
Irn Bru, was always named and spelled so. The taste is supposed to emulate iron girders, hence its one time tag line "Made in Scotland from girders", a light hearted nod to Scotland's industrial past. The only good tasting one is the original, and ideally served cold from a glass bottle, versus plastic. As kids we'd take the glass bottle back to the shop for a deposit refund, recycling goes way back. Diet and 'Extra' versions are so different tasting. It's largely regarded as a good hangover cure ! 😂 Look up some old Irn Bru tv ads on RUclips, some are comedy genius. 😛
Irn-Bru was originally called Iron Brew when it was introduced in 1889. In 1946 they had to change the name due to marketing regulations, as it contains no iron and isn't actually brewed.
