Thank you very much for visiting Japan and all those great vlogs! You guys make such amazing ones. I like the way you edit them and how informative they are.
Btw in case you don’t know, you seem to be having a hard time finding vegan restaurants in Japan but in fact we do have quite a lot of traditional dishes made from just vegetables. They are more like homemade dishes we eat everyday than fancy foods from restaurants, that’s why it’s hard to find them especially if you are a tourist who can’t speak Japanese. Next time you come, try search for a restaurant with the keywords like "おばんざい(Obanzai)" or "精進料理 (Shojin Ryori)" for example.
I’m sorry Japan is so outdated when it comes to vegan foods, but since Japanese food culture is so unique as well and it tells you a lot about local life, I really want people like you to try real Japanese foods too! Hope to see you enjoy our food culture as well and tell the other vegan tourists how to find authentic Japanese foods made from vegetables through your wonderful channel!

The Nozomi of JR Central is not the fastest bullet train as its top speed is 300kph, the 2 fastest bullet trains in service are the Green Hayabusa and the Red Komachi of JR East/JR Hokkaido that go from Tokyo to Aomori/ Hakodate and Akita respectively, their top speed is 320kph.

"Worst case we'll just eat it all." Best reply ever! Especially in Japan where you can just go into the convenience store (Lawsons in our case) and choose anything to eat and it's so fresh and delicious. That's what a friend and I did several years ago and the the experience has never been duplicated in any other country. Okay, now I need to make a plan to visit again soon.

@@altavelmcnamara No need to exaggerate, breakdowns are not all that common. But delays on Deutsche Bahn territory are indeed a common occurrence and a problem that they need to address. And to anticipate your cultural chauvinism, yes, trains get delayed in Japan all the time. They have a better on-time record than DB, but not than other EU HSR carriers.

I'm glad the food was super yummy, though! The train looks cool and thanks for the tip on booking seats with larger bags! I wouldn't have thought of that but I guess that makes some sense?
