Lovely selection of vintage Airfix kits! I remember making the Avenger (lots of rivets!) and the Firefly which is a really lovely model from the classic Airfix era. That box art is such a familiar part of my youth, gazing at the box ends in the model shop, deciding which one to spend my pocket money on. 😊
I do have to agree up to a point. Newer toolings aren't as diverse as they once were. The model market is more cut throat than it once was. Obscure subjects are less likely to sell than the myriad of Spitfires and 109's. That said. Airfix has a fantastic back catalogue of toolings, that are slowly being released under the Vintage Classics label.
