Márgu is the most cutest character in this film! Fun fact about her is that she is Sami, which according to Wikipedia, "The Sámi people are an indigenous Finno-Ugric people inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses large northern parts of Norway and Sweden, northern parts of Finland, and the Kola Peninsula within the Murmansk Oblast of Russia. The Sámi have historically been known in English as Lapps or Laplanders."
I got the translation of what she is saying from a comment on another video of Klaus.
Klaus is a 2019 English-language Spanish animated Christmas comedy film written and directed by Sergio Pablos (in his directorial debut), produced by Sergio Pablos Animation Studios (also known as the SPA Studios) with support from Aniventure and distributed by Netflix as its first original animated feature.

My great grandmother was Sámi and I was so surprised hearing a Sámi voice and seeing a Sámi hat in this film, it was so cool. She would've turned 100 years old today, R.I.P.

I've met people like this before (people who don't speak a word of any language i know) We talked but neither could understand a word we said yet we understood each other perfectly (or so i think) XD

Some times a great look of anger, fear, joy, or sadness is all that’s needed to understand how someone feels. Language is ethnic, but emotions are universal
How does that work?
Had a similar experience when I was on holiday in The Canary Islands, one night at the hotel I was playing a Mario 64 DS and some guy (guessing he was Spanish) started watching as he had the same game, we started playing our games simultaneously and giving each other advice on how to beat certain levels and despite the language barrier we were able to communicate almost perfectly

A cute character. With all do respect, it would've been nice if Netflix captions for the film would've shown Saami translations.
I think that takes away a bit of the charm. Besides, you're supposed to not understand her, like Jesper.

I think she sounds cuter in Saami, as she spoke in the movie. We just didn't know what she was saying is all. A translation is much appreciated, but it wasn't really necessary to get her lines spoken in english.

Not being a native Saami speaker, I was curious too but now it makes perfect sense. I had the inkling she called Jesper stupid, so I suppose it was my intuition deducing her meaning in that scene. Still, this is so wholesome ! I adore it, and Margu is just so precious ! I even love her appearance when she is older. She is such a beautiful soul.

Watching Klaus originally I thought they were going to put the subtitles in for her automatically, but for some reason they surprisingly didn’t. This dub is perfect!

This short scene is making me cry, I’ve been watching so many 3d movies that I miss the old 2d movie nostalgia. And this scene perfectly captures the extra movements and odd shapes in the 2d movies I grew up watching. I love this.

The reason why people disliked
This is that they are not getting to have a chance to hug and meet Her. Which is sad for me. 😟 well that is reality. outstanding video by the way. Now all I have to hug is my pillow imagining it is margu😞

0:25 this bit gets me and I can't find a clip of it anywhere but I really love how from here this statement was said with this hopeless feeling he has. Then it switches when everything picks up and the same statement word by word is suddenly representing this new awe and amazing feeling he has along with his new relationships with the Saami people, Alva and Klaus.

I'm not gonna lie, I kinda thought her name was Sámi (this was before I learned that was actually the language she spoke, because when you turn on subtitles on this movie, it puts, "She's Saami"). I legit did not know Sámi was a language until a couple of days ago
I think her name is a suomi version of the french name Margot, or Marguerite who means pearl.
