So nostalgic! I heard this back in my school day. Today I was listening back to my old playlist and found this song again. I was like...OMG! I know this song!
@@amandarivera5861 a honorable magical op warrior coming from another terrible world of the past into the modern world and he gotta learn and navigate the complicating modern world and it is an enjoyable slice of life-like for a short while, but then there appears a threat of the portal that brought him here opening again and after all the adventures there is a struggle with his friends that he made in this world (which he recruited to be op magical warriors as well but not remotely as op as him) a struggle to destroy the source of the portal because he knows how terrible his world truly is how much evil may come into this more peaceful world. While fighting some of the evil warriors come out and he beats them and at the same time it is shown how terrible his world truly was (maybe these relatively "weak" evil warriors destroy a whole district of a city and corrupt that part of the world). Sadly the protagonist warrior had sacrificed himself in order to close the portal. The mc warrior is the guy on the right

I don’t remember where I read it, its been like 6 years last time I read the manga. But the title is “of the red, the light, and the ayakashi” or something like that, Japanese title is “akaya akashiya ayakashino” I think. Its originally a visual novel game like the naku koro ni series.

There are some similarities in the instrumentation and eerie style. Zektbach and Shikata did collaborate on a few songs, too, which explains why linking her voice with the Epic is reasonable. This is noticeably more Eastern than what Zektbach has ever done on a "modern" vocal track, however.
