To me this song is an example of how machines can make someone feel so human, so in love and in harmony with the energy that flows through the world. How the artificial becomes natural. Art.
if you think about it. We are nature. If we are natural, everything we make is too. More refined modes of matter are still composed of the same stuff, even if their functions are so complex that they seem to defy nature.
There's something about this song I can't really explain. Everytime I listen to it, everytime the piano/vibraphone starts I just start feeling nostalgic of the 2000s and early 2010s. I really miss those days...

This song feels like a hopeful, melancholic recollection of one's life's progress, humbling like watching the soft colours of a sunset and thinking about the vastness and complexities of everyone and everything around you. Although the existential march onward is blind and there will be future bad days, separated from everything bad about this world, there is the warmth of hope that the tomorrows of tomorrow will bring good news.

Always love me some old Squarepusher. I remember cruising around at night playing this song & album. Moody for being so technical. Love the contrast of live instruments and electronic. Gives it soul that so much other music is missing when it attempts to replicate this genre.
'Beep Street' is literally the perfect title for this. It piques your interest, fits the genre having all these weird names, it's catchy, and the song itself sounds very urban and relaxed. It sounds like a simple lifestyle, just driving along the streets of your city, going about your day beneath a cloudy sky, and in the monotony of your life routine you ponder the mysteries of the world and reflect with yourself. You have a desire to learn and see what's out there beyond your city. For now you can't. You're still trapped paying bills, living in apartments, working your ass off in a job you don't really like. But someday, you'll be able to fly. You'll travel the world and see everything.
