The piano @ 3:27 is just too good. Most people would kill to have a melody like that for their whole song. Here..it's just the beginning of the outro. It's unreal.
Yeah it's incredible, this is one of his best compositions. I remember getting a drum machine and synth in the late 90s and just couldn't comprehend how he made stuff like "I Care Because You Do" back then. He's a real visionary, he was so far beyond the average electronic/rave music back then. I'm jealous of the kids today with ableton etc. it's so much easier to compose music and record a song now.
The song could live to be 1000 years old and would still have the same effect, that is the advantage of timeless music, with it you notice its genius and how it has cracked dimensions. Remarkable What a person can do.

Finessed to perfection in constantly funky brain tickling, body movin, soul soothing sounds.

actually aphex's best album no cap. truly demonstrates how his technique can be applied into more mellow and bright atmosphere from the classic obscure atmosphere he naturally incorporated in his earlier days of career.
Somewhere, at any given moment, this series of sounds exists in my soul. I assume it does in yours, too. The beats, the overlays, the pops and interjections along with the (vocals) ALL mesh together to create a magic carpet that I can ride on anytime I like. absolutely spot on opinion it sounds like PLAID 6 yrs ago
A selected few have heard the album in its entirely, and it supposedly gets "more and more intense" as it goes on. ;)
>Implying this is from 2007

Thingie5 "Everything new has already been done." Lord, help this uninformed soul.
1:12 Stuck in my brain on repeat, and it’s a wonderful thing.
this is the best dong ive heard fore 13 years
actually aphex's best album no cap. truly demonstrates how his technique can be applied into more mellow and bright atmosphere from the classic obscure atmosphere he naturally incorporated in his earlier days of career.
Song titles suck though
I'm so glad he's still around to make such beautiful ass music.
Can't believe it's already nearly been a year
+Philip Kim Well, it's a year now
This track, in fact, was recorded in 2007.
+Marceli Korbin (Mr. Deer) I was referring to the date of Syro's release
+Philip Kim I know it, but you could listen to it earlier on Aphex' concerts ;)
Can't believe it's already nearly been two years
I can't even say how many times I've looped this album...
1,000,000 hits. I'm proud of the Aphex Twin fanbase. I love you all.
I can't stop listening to this
Everything i was expecting and more, so good. especially like the section with the vocals at 3:19
its been 13 years and its still better than most electronic "artists" out there.
3:02 BEST PART... EVER
Sounds like I just shit my pants wym
Somewhere, at any given moment, this series of sounds exists in my soul. I assume it does in yours, too. The beats, the overlays, the pops and interjections along with the (vocals) ALL mesh together to create a magic carpet that I can ride on anytime I like. I welcome each sound as a breath, a heartbeat, a flash of light... a friend.
Happy Anniversary minipops!
Very good song and a good return! Also the vocoder vocal at 3:04 seems to be very similar to The Tuss track
Shiz Ko E at 2:24... :D
Cant get enough of this, simply mechanically perfect.
What beauty. What stunning beauty.
As a Aphex Twin fan of him for many years he has plenty of songs but this one I feel safe to say it's his best song he ever done in my opinion only thing is too short
Perso. I say, this band in techno was for me one of the Best band on this planet... (i can very good music, ) your mélodie, rythme, that was APHEX TWIN. in tech. You and PRODIGY. The best tech. Band..
