Dear dear greetings, I wish you lasting success and happiness in this world and the hereafter and that all wishes come true for you.🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🌺🌷🌷🌷🌷
Here is a pro tip - When making uneven pluses, like dolls with large heads for example -- make the base all one piece. For example, instead of splitting the White part into a stem and attaching the mushroom head, you just need to narrow it down and then expand back out to create the whole stem. It really establishes the whole structure and makes it wayyyy less floppy.

omg this is SO helpful, thank you so much!!!

YESS ME TOO

It’ll match Anna’s army of bees
Haha that’s adorable ☺️
Can we just appreciate the fact that she still has a Christmas calendar up?
Awww, I liked the first one too! He looks so sleepy, all he needs is some sleepy eyes and a tiny pillow to rest his sleepy head on and he'll fit right in!
Oh my goodness I’ve been trying to decide what to do with my Bernat yarn, let’s goooo
My best tips for keeping those top heavy projects from flopping are 1. Crochet the whole thing in one piece if possible! and 2. Whether you crochet the project in separate pieces or all one piece, stuff SUPER firmly, mostly around the weakest part of the project where the flopping occurs. It fills up that space where the flop happens and it'll help give the project extra structure! Happy crocheting!!
Oh wow why doesn’t RUclips recommend this to me now?! Anyway it turned out super cute! Your channel is growing(get it, it’s a mushroom it grows...ok I’ll go now) so fast!
My mom will be questioning were all the mushrooms came from
LMAO
Tell her you grew them in the backyard

I made these adorable draw string mushroom bags they were a huge hit too
omg did u use a pattern or did u just make something up? ive really been looking for a pattern to make a mushroom bag but can't find a free one.
@@foodallergiesandme6614 hey 👋 so I just made something up and went with it. I crochet a circle tell it was 7 inches side to side then I decreased and started crocheting up like a bowl then crochet tell the blow part cake out to be 8-9 inches tall then I tied it off crochet the draw string part then the top I chained 10 and closed it off and made a hat basically the handle or handles depending on if it’s a back pack or not you just chain tell you get the length you want then double crochet so that it’s thicker. For the dots on the top of the mushroom I just crochet circles. I hope that helps feel free to ask more questions or check out my Facebook page it’s hannahtron creations or on Instagram at bugie1989 , sending lots of love from Oregon

helpful tip - on amazon you can buy polyfil made from recycled bottles - its slightly more expensive than normal but works just as well and is obviously recycled 😊

NO WAY. NO WAYY!! ANNA JUST LIKED MY COMMENT OMGGG
knitting my first ever sweater whilst watching this. thx for the company
you got this!!
quick tip!: when working with bulky yarn, if you add more single crochets into your magic ring, it’s makes your “circles” more flat and less pointy. works the same way the other way around: add less sc into your magic ring to make them pointier :)
furthermore, if you’re trying to make it less floppy, what worked for me when i was making my amigurumi bear was when i added more stuffing and sewed it on a bit tighter. (add the stuffing as you’re sewing!) Yeah the neck elongated a little bit but it no longer flipped and flopped around yknow what i mean? stronger structure!!
To prevent crochet dolls from having a bobble head, I've heard of people using dowel rods, pipe cleaners, floral wire and "old school" pink foam hair rollers...not all at once. :) You could also try securing (with stitches) the underside of the cap to the base.
Yeah, I heard that too but I forgot they were dowel rods😂
i just recently made a mushroom too, its definitely colorful seeing that I just tied together spare yarns but i'd like to call it the psychedellic mushroom that deals a shit ton of poison damage but brings your strength stat to max (i am in love with dnd although i only played once bc i dont have friends :DD)
Wot
I’ve never been this early! Love you Anna!
I’m going to crochet a mushroom now ;)
I saw this video, subbed, crocheted a mushroom and then watched the video again.

Hi Anna! I love watching your hooky adventures. I love to crochet, too. I'm currently working on crocheting cat beds for charities and also a yarn bomb. Ciao! Erica

Oop I love her shirt/hoodie!
thank u!! my friend parker (@styled_by_parker) made the pink harry themed sweatshirt 🥰
Congrats on 30k subs! 😆
I love the mushrooms, I will definitely be trying this out with the sweet snuggles yarn 😊
i cheered when the foam circle in the top worked!!
I love crocheting with these videos ❤️❤️
This is so cute!!!! Mushrooms go with every season😤🥰
I love ur decoration near ur Christmas calendar
The thing I worked on during this is my Harry styles sweater but make it one color and with more ✨texture✨ (different types of squares with different stitches but all one color)
I'm starting to think you have started my obsession with wanting to now crochet a mushroom LOL thanksss this was so cute and I think you did a great job!
Tip: sew the top on from one round in instead of the outside round near the whole. 💞
I’m currently knitting socks while watching. Always a joy to see a new video from you. Stay crafty beautiful.
I would run a paper towel tube from the stem through the top and stuff around it densely with polyfil. I would also downsize the hook for the underside of the mushroom head to make the stitches tighter. You did a good job though! Amigurumi is one of the most difficult things I've ever tried.
love the golden crew neck in the beginning
When you sew it together, you can make it sturdier by going around a few extra times. It works for dolls and stuffies too!
I've been waiting for this all day!!💕
The more you stuff it near the top the less floppy it will be! Like right where you join the bottom to the top of the mushroom. Really over stuff it 😂 I also find doing some extra stitches where you join the two pieces helps a lot!
The sigh at 20:07 😂😅 I felt that in my soul
I always love putting your videos on while I'm crocheting because it keeps me motivated
I love you Anna!! I watch your videos repeatedly 24/7!! Please keep going!!
Edit: OMG!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HEART ANNA!!!! AHAHAH THANK YOU!!
A tip that I find useful when doing flopper projects is adding wire to the structure. I typically just old wire hangers and wire cutters and pliers and mold it to the project I’m making. The trick that works for me is making sure the poly-fil covers the wire inside and out so the pillow or plushie would still be soft.
I hope this helps.
omg the golden jumper that you're wearing is soooo cute
thank you!! my friend parker made it! her insta is @styled_by_parker if you wanna see what else she makes, it is all sooo cute :)))
crocheting while i watch, as always :)
Watching while crocheting a cardigan for my sister :)
It is a cute, you have to stuff the base firmly to be able to hold the head, another tip is to add support in the neck between the head and the base, it could be a plastic stick or wire or even wood l
this is so funny i crocheted like 4 mushrooms for christmas! one thing that i did was use pink for the underside of the mushroom instead of white.
You can try adding more stuffing. That and if you want the top of the mushroom and the stem be separate pieces, then you can consider working on a sturdier stitch (when you connect the two pieces). Maybe try going the round twice when sewing. 1st round, inside loops. 2nd round outside loops. It's easier done with a needle though instead of hooks though. Hope this helps
I have crocheted stuffed animals and had the same problem with the head being wobbly. What I did is crocheted them together by grabbing more stiches closer to the edge of that makes sense haha. Or using some hot glue to glue around the middle then crocheted them together on the outside 🧶💗
thank you!!!!
you are so talented Anna : )
Can you crochet a frog??🐸✨🍄✨❤️💞
Ok so my tips are :
on the base try and sew like more into the bottom of the top. if that makes sense? that might work. for me i just sew and sew till it feels sturdy. sometimes it isn’t sturdy enough because the hook is too big. If you make another one try to use like a half size hook down. or full. Also, try sewing like around the top. i can elaborate this maybe isn’t making sense. not like the part you connect them. but like branch outwards. also you might want to add small weights in the bottom. uh beans rice? you could do something that smells nice like a bag of lavender or or a tea bag? i’m not sure but with that you will have to increase the pattern size even more. try making a smaller version to see ? or i’m not sure :))
I LOVE YOUR COW SQUISHMALLOW AAAA
you attempted to crochet a mushroom,I attempted to crochet well😭
I attempted to hold my crochet hook and smoothhhh like broooo my fingers just hurtssss
Literally me as a child trying to crochet a rectangle but making a triangle instead-
@@natcorrea7421 Ikr I still can’t make a magic circle 😭
@@Natss5429 you can practice! Anybody can do anything if you practice and work hard enough! :D my first crochet project that was supposed to be a circle ended up like a short little worm 😅. After 1 year of a break I came back to it and now I know how to crochet! You can do the same!
@@rynaesart4230 thank you for the inspiration! I will pick up my hook and try again! :D
this is so cute 🍄
I’m a new subscriber and I’m obsessed with your videos! I’ve recently got back into crochet after years of not doing any, your videos are really motivating me! 🖤
Thank you so the great video. I am having an issue getting the top of the mushroom to have that little pointier peak rather than the dome I am getting. Also, I am going to fill the bottom of the base of the stem with a white nylon knee-high sock filled with rice or beans for weight so that it stands up on its own.
Here’s a little tip for making crochet patterns bigger:
Instead of changing the pattern, you can use bigger yarn, but, like in your case, if you’re already using large yarn, just double or triple it up! There’s some great tutorials on RUclips on how to do it easily and effectively. By doing this , you’re basically just making your yarn thicker, which will result in a bigger result!!
I love your videos so much they give me such good vibes! I just love it❤️
If you wanted to you could probably add some kind of supports into the stem like a plastic straw or something maybe glue like a piece of fabric or some materiel to the bottom and top so it wont poke thorugh. If u do this though you will have to mainly use it for display.
the problem probably comes from 1 or both of 2 things: 1. you might be overstuffing the mushroom head! you might have to way understuff it to make it light enough to stand up 2. it would definitely be best if it was all one piece, the seam in the middle is probably really affecting the structure! hope this helpssssss :)
Wooooooo! Fun video! I like the floppy mushroom hehe
If you have any spare time you should try an octopus! I think it would be great
A mushroom of my own 😻
our floppy little mushroom to bless the home 😌
to help with the floppy ness i recomend putting a wooden dowel or two on the inside
With so much schoolwork and hw to do i barely have any time to crochet nowadays 😔😭
I felt that :( Now that I do have time though, I don't even know what I wanna make
@@natcorrea7421 yeah exactly, when you wanna crochet, you can't bc work but when you're free, you dont know what to crochet 😔😔😔
I usually put 30 minutes of crochet into my calendar like it's an appointment daily so I don't feel bad about working on it
@@sarahaubrey320 that's nice I wish I could do that but the thing is we don't really have a homework timetable, we just get it randomly and the teachers give us piles of work to do so my whole day is spent doing that ಥ‿ಥ
When I made the smaller version, I put some stitches anchoring around the smallest part of the stem, up into the cap of the mushroom, it really helped to achieve that mushrooms dome shape, and meant that the stem was less floppy, because it has that anchor to the rest of the mushroom if that makes sense
I’m crocheting 🧶 a blanket, could you do a video for that? Or any tips?
As a person who loves making blankets but doesn't have patience, I like to use a bigger hook than is needed for the yarn which helps get through it quicker, make it a little thinner without compromising the warmth (as long as its not a stitch that has a lot of big holes), and calls for less yarn in the end.
@@natcorrea7421 thank you
just started crocheting yesterday! I am trying to make mushroom children (those ones that People make that are called mushroom boys) but it may take some time heh.
i crocheted while watching this and got two rows done! its not alot but im trying heh
Besides making the base all in one piece, to fix this one, you could try stuffing the stem with more fiberfill so that it's stiffer and sturdier!
Instead of making it two separate parts try melding them together. So instead of closing off the top, begin the bottom from that point. Also maybe try overstuffing the neck of the mushroom to make it more stiff and supported!
Thanks all I got hope it might help :)
I think it might've helped to not close the bottom of the top part but leave the circle the same size as the top of the stem and sew the open holes together. Hopefully that made sense
Some of the little plushies I made had floppy heads too, the way I solved that was basically stitching around their head two or three times to reinforce the seam and make it sit a little better. A lot of them still have crooked heads tho XD

MUSHROOMS!!! Also, I think you mentioned in a community post or something that you might want to do rug making which if you are, you could look into punch needling one. I saw a video on it and while I haven't done it, it looks pretty simple to rig yourself.
i want to get into punch needling so bad! i am still doing research, but hopefully soon 😊
I am also crocheting a mushroom at the moment!!
i found working with blanket yarn especially that you need to work extra tight cause blanket yarn is so floppy itself
Tip: crochet it as one piece and stuff the heck out of the "neck" area. Adding more stuffing in that section will reduce the flop.
oh my god whereeeeeee did you get that orange sweater you wore on your second attempt 🥺 it’s stunningggggg 🥺
