Thanks! No complaints! On some jumps it looks like the back end kicks up a lot, but really that is from the jump faces being really short. They are more designed with my 8 year old son's motorcycle in mind. 😁
They mod the rzr to be as loud as possible, which really sucks on the mountain trials in Utah. The 3 cylinder canam sounds much better, I wish the el hefe had a 3 cylinder 1500 or 2000 with lots of low-mid torque. Number 975.
Congrats on #975! Yes, the El Jefe could use a bit more torque to get it going for sure! It's not that it's slow, it just needs the down low like you said.
I agree! There was never a point when he was driving it where I felt like the exhaust needed to sound different. I still think it would be cool to hear one with an aftermarket muffler just to see how it changes.
@PapaWheeliesWorld I sure miss the 2 seater days before kiddos lol. I hope the e85 tune will make the 4 seat feel alive. It just sucks that we have to run e85 for 200whp. Especially here in Oregon, where it's not easily available.

Thank you!! So far it's been pretty good! He loves the suspension! That's the high point for sure! He had a reflash on the ECU because of a hard start occasionally. I feel like it's living up to a first year production vehicle with some issues here and there once the public starts testing. He has listed it for sale just to see what happens. His major deciding factor for that was the potential unavailability of parts if he's camping at the dunes and something breaks. It's hard when a rig breaks and you can't get parts and the vacation is ruined. This hasn't happened to him, but it's a reality that it could.
The brakes were good! A good bleed of the brakes helped get rid of the soft pedal some people were experiencing. He just had the base brakes, not the upgraded ones. The suspension is adjustable with pre load and compression/rebound. We didn't have a chance to mess with that at all and it could help to dial it in even better! That dent was just cosmetic luckily!
The suspension easily ate up all that it encountered. It didn't leave us feeling like it needed to be better. Maybe we'll play with some shock settings and ride height after he gets a few more miles on it. Power felt really good, although we were in a wet field so that isn't the most accurate judge of power. I think in the dirt it has plenty of power and of course in the sand it'll feel like it could use more, but so does every SXS. It'll be awesome to get more miles on it and see if our perspective changes about anything. Thanks for taking the time to comment! 👍
