Fellow ENFP. Can also confirm. Though when I lived on my own for a week, I found I prefer to wash my dishes right after I use them, so I don't have to do anything later. At home I do dishes because I don't want to hurt my relationships with others.

As an ENFP, I met a friend once and that same afternoon, genuinely agreed (and followed-through) to house-sat their cat for a week (no charge). No regrets. They (and their cat) were awesome!

Between you and Dear Kristen, I have come to accept my ENFP status. Whenever I start going down the MBTI rabbit hole, and I'm doubting my type on a deep, phycological level, I watch one of your guys ENFP videos. And I see myself reflected in the most humorous of ways. Thank you for everything you do. I have no idea when that was... or what video it was... but I'm 99% sure it must have deeply impacted my life.
The videos made it harder for me to accept my ENFP status, but I did eventually accept. I wish I had the spontaneity (and the money) to go travel whenever I want. Got some 6 in me, and my parents taught me not to go into debt for both logical and spiritual reasons. Admittedly I do appear to have more Fe than most ENFP's, which may not always be the best. I am learning to sit with my emotions rather than find a way to get them to go away, and to express my true self more. My status as an ENFP is so clear though that to doubt it is laughable.
@@heathertoomey7068 Due to growing up poor, I don't have that urge to travel (or the desire to spend that kind money). I explore online instead. It can be very satisfying to learn that way. I also love meeting people from other cultures so I can learn about what life is like in that spot. There's more than one way to explore :)

My INTJ husband and I (ENFP) frequently talk about our "plan B", which is to move south, live on a beach, get a membership to a local gym to have a place to shower, work as servers at a local coffee shop to have some money, change our names and never look back. 😂 (This is my evolving brain child... he wholeheartedly agrees... knowing I'm only half joking) We also discuss getting chickens, ducks and goats... that one is more serious. He has even started researching breeds, levels of care they require, and sending me photos of the baby chicks at the agricultural stores. 😂 While he gets all technical and researches, I send him photos of the craziest looking breeds I can find... I like silkies and Polish Bantams. They look hilarious. So, he is under strict instructions to buy me some of those as pets... and I come up with fun names for this menagerie. I will name the craziest looking one Heihei. Then, I want all the remaining chickens to be named things like: Poachy, Scramble, Benedict, Omelet, Juevos Rancheros, Drumstick, Barbecue, Honey Mustard, Quiche, etc. The goats... I would choose names like Kiddo, Baaramyou, Billy, Gruff, etc. The ducks would have names like Quackers, Darkwing, Daffy, Donald, Scrooge McDuck, Daisy, Psyduck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, etc. 😂 As for NZ... we both have that on our bucket list... not to live there, but definitely to visit. Several times. The INTJxENFP pairing certainly works well... and are very random together. 🤪

My favorite was Winky McDinklepants. 🤣 He earned that name because he would excited pee frequently, and he liked to wink at us like he was part human. We would wink back and he would wink some more. He was also Whizzy the Clown (when he would excited pee he would run to the back door while peeing... leaving a swirling trail of pee in his wake 🤦♀️). His real name was Ninja, so I also called him Ninnie, Ninnieheimer, Ninj, and Doofenshmirtz. Lol. He was one of my faves and I miss him so much. My favorite nicknaming theme involves Mc(some descriptive word)pants. I do this all the time. My Yorkiepoo (who has also crossed the rainbow Bridge) would whine to communicate because I trained her not to bark at every little noise. So, she was McWhinerpants. She also became McNaughtypants when she would purposely run to the neighbor's yard to cause trouble. Lol. My niece is McSassypants. My other niece is McBossypants. It just feels normal to me... because I've always been this way... and assumed everyone else was, too. Except, I still noticed differences, but I thought everyone thought this way. Super fast paced, thinking in a web, making tons of connections, brainstorming 5 ideas in 1 second. I thought EVERYONE did that. I also thought they made decisions based on their value system. I could never understand why someone would make a decision to do something they hated because it made logical sense. I know now that it is because they are a Thinker, not a Feeler, but it still makes no sense to me. And as far as what you said... Ne is crazy. Crazy, unfiltered, random chaos. Yet, so great at thinking outside the box, problem solving and coming up with good ideas... and plenty of crazy, off the wall, silly ideas. Fi as a secondary just makes the reaction to the random ideas or input of new information very expressive. At least, I think that is how they work together. I do know that I will often get a random idea, jump in with both feet and then realize shortly into it that it doesn't resonate with me and I will want to abandon it if it doesn't. I find the most challenging part of the cognitive stack to be the inferior Si, though. Like, I'm so out of touch with it that I'm not quite certain what it is even supposed to do. And I find myself forgetting to eat, drink water, use the restroom, etc... because I'm so focused on my mental world that I miss my physical needs in the real world. Also, inferior Si is why I have to walk back up the stairs no less than 5 times every morning to grab some random item I forgot in order to finish getting ready... every. Morning. And it is always the same items I'm forgetting. It's like my brain just doesn't look to the past and learn from the mistake. Lol. And even though I have tried studying videos on Se verses Si... I still have zero clue what the difference is or what Si even actually does. I cannot explain it to anyone, because it is just a giant gap in my brain. 😂

One of my best friends is an ENFP, and as and INFP, our conversations bounce all over the place and and I love it. No one else gets my random comments but when we are together she instantly catches on where my brain is going and rides that train of thought with me, usually adding to it, untill we get distracted by something else and forgot what we were talking about. As an ENFP, the only thing you got wrong here is being willing to do the dishes. Life is too short to spend it doing routine household chores.

The videos made it harder for me to accept my ENFP status, but I did eventually accept. I wish I had the spontaneity (and the money) to go travel whenever I want. Got some 6 in me, and my parents taught me not to go into debt for both logical and spiritual reasons.
Admittedly I do appear to have more Fe than most ENFP's, which may not always be the best. I am learning to sit with my emotions rather than find a way to get them to go away, and to express my true self more.
My status as an ENFP is so clear though that to doubt it is laughable.

I also love meeting people from other cultures so I can learn about what life is like in that spot. There's more than one way to explore :)

I like silkies and Polish Bantams. They look hilarious. So, he is under strict instructions to buy me some of those as pets... and I come up with fun names for this menagerie. I will name the craziest looking one Heihei. Then, I want all the remaining chickens to be named things like: Poachy, Scramble, Benedict, Omelet, Juevos Rancheros, Drumstick, Barbecue, Honey Mustard, Quiche, etc. The goats... I would choose names like Kiddo, Baaramyou, Billy, Gruff, etc. The ducks would have names like Quackers, Darkwing, Daffy, Donald, Scrooge McDuck, Daisy, Psyduck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, etc. 😂
As for NZ... we both have that on our bucket list... not to live there, but definitely to visit. Several times.

My favorite was Winky McDinklepants. 🤣 He earned that name because he would excited pee frequently, and he liked to wink at us like he was part human. We would wink back and he would wink some more. He was also Whizzy the Clown (when he would excited pee he would run to the back door while peeing... leaving a swirling trail of pee in his wake 🤦♀️). His real name was Ninja, so I also called him Ninnie, Ninnieheimer, Ninj, and Doofenshmirtz. Lol. He was one of my faves and I miss him so much.
My favorite nicknaming theme involves Mc(some descriptive word)pants. I do this all the time. My Yorkiepoo (who has also crossed the rainbow Bridge) would whine to communicate because I trained her not to bark at every little noise. So, she was McWhinerpants. She also became McNaughtypants when she would purposely run to the neighbor's yard to cause trouble. Lol.

It just feels normal to me... because I've always been this way... and assumed everyone else was, too. Except, I still noticed differences, but I thought everyone thought this way. Super fast paced, thinking in a web, making tons of connections, brainstorming 5 ideas in 1 second. I thought EVERYONE did that. I also thought they made decisions based on their value system. I could never understand why someone would make a decision to do something they hated because it made logical sense. I know now that it is because they are a Thinker, not a Feeler, but it still makes no sense to me.
And as far as what you said... Ne is crazy. Crazy, unfiltered, random chaos. Yet, so great at thinking outside the box, problem solving and coming up with good ideas... and plenty of crazy, off the wall, silly ideas. Fi as a secondary just makes the reaction to the random ideas or input of new information very expressive. At least, I think that is how they work together. I do know that I will often get a random idea, jump in with both feet and then realize shortly into it that it doesn't resonate with me and I will want to abandon it if it doesn't.
I find the most challenging part of the cognitive stack to be the inferior Si, though. Like, I'm so out of touch with it that I'm not quite certain what it is even supposed to do. And I find myself forgetting to eat, drink water, use the restroom, etc... because I'm so focused on my mental world that I miss my physical needs in the real world. Also, inferior Si is why I have to walk back up the stairs no less than 5 times every morning to grab some random item I forgot in order to finish getting ready... every. Morning. And it is always the same items I'm forgetting. It's like my brain just doesn't look to the past and learn from the mistake. Lol. And even though I have tried studying videos on Se verses Si... I still have zero clue what the difference is or what Si even actually does. I cannot explain it to anyone, because it is just a giant gap in my brain. 😂

One of my best friends is an ENFP, and as and INFP, our conversations bounce all over the place and and I love it. No one else gets my random comments but when we are together she instantly catches on where my brain is going and rides that train of thought with me, usually adding to it, untill we get distracted by something else and forgot what we were talking about.
