As INFJ dentist, when my patient had anxiety I usually distracted them with silly joke even my INTJ assistant gave me “for real?” glance sometimes.

I thought it was quite not relatable but then I read your comment and realised I used to do this too. I used to give horse riding lessons and sometimes the horse would keep neighing for an unknown reason or just be too excitable and then the more anxious kids would be on a brink of panicking and then I would start telling some stories about the horses "talking to each other because they are best friends with the one horse that you seen just before and that horse once..." etc. and then they would laugh when the horse neigh again

I'm an ISFJ and I once volunteered in an eye clinic. The patient had eye issues but with my "help" she scored all on her eye test. The main Doctor asked what happened and I told him that because she couldn't see well, I would then write the letter on a piece of paper and bring it to her and then ask her if she thinks that's the real letter and she would also say yes. So I would document her answers as a yes coz I was helping her. 😅😅 The patient was an elderly lady. I just couldn't.

-Ni operating the control system of reactions and acting as the team leader
-Se trying to convince the other to do some weird stuff and being mostly ignored until the end when it saves the day
-Someone talkes to the INFJ about a mess he got himself into. The Fe tries to comfort him while the Ti judges him silently.
-Ni and Ti having an inner monologue together (maybe getting into an Ni-Ti loop)
If anyone have more ideas please comment

I LOVE that we do telehealth now, it's so much less of a pain in the ass, we get our information exchanged quickly and clearly and I only have to come in for tests when I really need them. I don't waste his time, he doesn't waste mine.

Honestly, I think you're right about some of us not being good doctors.

    1. I just realized the doctor I saw twenty years ago who reduced me to a crying fit that lasted five hours was very likely INTJ. I thought it was because he was a Yorkshireman. People from Yorkshire should not be allowed in the caring professions. 😅
    2. ENTP action sequence was awesome, can I see that doctor please? 😎
    3. INFJ using their ability to influence perception for the higher good, nice! You don't often see this aspect of INFJ portrayed the way it's generally used, ie for helping people manage their fears. ❤

INFJ med student here, absolutely love the video! Also I find myself very good at Hx taking people just sit and tell me their life story and I extract very little bit of info and synthesize a very logical and comprehensive history that many people told me they like hearing my histories.I also know what to say to make patients feel comfortable and sometimes do things that even residents don't and they would look at me with surprise as if I am taking over.I want to be a surgeon and want to work on my eye hand coordination.I like the adrenaline rush when it makes me act like an ESTP.I also really like teaching patients about everything and feel like if they understand how smart the mechanism of a certain drug is they will be more compliant and just generally benefit better.

(I am Asian living in America) one day my (American)friend told me she has a bad headache. I suggested that I should step on her foot. She made skeptical face impression and asked me if that will really help with her headache. I told her ‘no, but you won’t think about the headache for a good few seconds’ she said she thought it was some strange Asian thing and almost believed it! God bless her! 😆
One of my (Asian) friend is very (I mean really really) flat boobs. Like a chewed gum on the ground…One day she was talking about getting a boobs job and she need it soon. Then proceed to tell me how come I have a big boobs and the genetic things sucks. I told her ‘it’s not all genetic…you see I wake up extra early every morning and slap my boobs, like 30-40 times each so blood gets circulated better and swells’ she said ‘ah! I didn’t know. I should try it’ I tried to hold back but couldn’t stop laughing 😆
