Tom... It's quite strange, but I feel that you brought back some of the raw creativity of the first videos of SU&SD... And honestly, it's wonderful and fresh, thank you for that. :D
Yes, Tom somehow brings back Paul's subtle undercurrent of insanity which I feel was missing for the last few years. He's still not gluing limes to his face, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time... :)
Glad to see Tom's found his review style. I'm worried that his review style seems to be "mental breakdown of the fun variety", but I'm glad he's found it all the same.

I’m mainly familiar with Ava through the podcast but they are the best of the lot of them! Their analysis is excellent and it’s great to see someone at SU&SD focus on big games like mage knight because the rest of the team have a penchant for lighter and quirkier games (which is no bad thing)
@@samhs101 yes! yes yes! Ava is the one member of the SUSD gang who's taste in games actually lines up with mine... I love the original boys, but they really like big social "performative" games where they get to be centre of attention, and that is SO not my tastes. I genuinely love them!
This really was such a genuinely enjoyable half an hour of listening to someone talk. Tom you really are a mad genius. My favourite part has to be the perfectly told first-wine story.
So glad to see Button Shy getting more coverage. They make so many great small games. In Vino Morte is my favorite because I feel like it gives all of the satisfaction of a much longer bluffing/deduction game into about 5-10 minutes. Also, it's basically the poisoned wine scene from the Princess Bride. If someone doesn't reference Iocane powder at some point, you might be playing it wrong.

Very fair review of Hierarchy, it’s a hard game to get into and a lot more chesslike than most other Button Shy games. From what I’ve heard from my playtesters and other players online, once you’re on top of all the abilities, the game gets really fun. Thanks for checking it out!

This kinda video is why Shut Up & Sit Down is the best. It's funny, it's informative, and it showed me some games that I never heard about, but which sound super interesting. Liberation especially seems like something I'd want to play.
My favorite Button Shy Game wasn't covered here (and I acknowledge that that is okay): Rob Cramer's Turbo Drift! Turbo Drift is a chaotic tabletop racer that merely challenges you and your friends to get from the starting line to the finish wherever on the table you choose to place it with whatever you set up between the two to get in your way. The game has a unique card draw system that encourages risk to get first place combined with infinite replayability by merely changing your course however you see fit... and for added chaos, consider adding the ramps and oil slicks of the expansion for a dexterous twist.

Tom, you are fantastic and I love the flavor/style of your videos. I also like the progression of locations you've been filming in and therefore your current level of sanity.
I was pretty sure that was from Street Fighter. Is it because the hat looks like M. Bison or something? Then why would he use Guile's theme? Maybe just because it's a good song and Quinns' favourite.
