    @8:30 there’s no old wives tales for carpentry and construction because there were no old wives in those fields. I’m sure there’s sayings and phrases in those fields as well, but they are not labelled as “old wives tales“ because those fields were mostly full of men and nobody called them “old husbands tales” because that would be disrespectful to men. And we wouldn’t want that, now, would we?
