I don't think they hate Tommy, they are just trying to protect Buck. I don't understand all the Tommy hate. Just like us, all of the characters have been shown to have character flaws. They've all got second chances with their partners after all and are happier because of it. Why would they they try to stop Buck from doing the exact same thing they all did?
I think they realized he wasn't good for Buck. It' s why they ended it. Buck wanted something long-term, but Tommy didn't. They are protective of him. In all fairness, Hen got flack for questioning Maddie being good for Chimney
I think they’re just very protective of him too. He’s had his heart broken so many times and Tommy will always be an important part of Bucks history just like abby was. And maybe the three of them see something that they didn’t like with Tommy. Or maybe they see a different potential (Buddie) for him who knows we’ll see.

Eddie the hypocrite was back. He certainly wasn't interested in Buck concerns when he was trying to revive his dead wife by taking up with lookalike Kim despite being with Marisol at the same time. At this point I wouldn't even call Eddie a genuine friend of Buck's.
Oh drop the bull. Buck was off having fun bi adventures while Eddie spun out on the doppleganger and now youre pissy they finally got rid of Pinocchio the wooden boy.
@@connorryan9602 - You seem to have forgotten that Eddie kept the fact that he was cheating on Marisol a secret even from Buck. He dropped Christopher off at Buck's place so that he could supposedly go on a date with Marisol. But the date was really with Kim. Buck only found out about Kim because she came to the firehouse looking for Eddie. He then went to talk to Eddie and expressed concerns. But that didn't stop Eddie from LARPing with Kim as if she were Shannon. Then, when Marisol and Christopher walked in on Eddie and Kim LARPing, things went into a downward spiral. Buck tried his best, but he couldn't fix how hurt Christopher was nor stop him from leaving with his grandparents. Eddie has *no* business acting like he has *any* wisdom to offer, nor acting like he's more mature or rational.

Then he gets into Kim because he seriously thought that she was Shannon (and told Buck as much). If I were Buck, I would call him out on that.
I don't think Eddie was supposed to be doing too well mentally. They hint at PTSD and also complicated grief. A lot of his symptoms lined up with depression, too. He wasn't doing too well and it's only recently that his mental health has been improving. the family hates that guy and i love it. eddie probably felt guilty coz he was the one who encouraged buck to pursue tommy and then he turned out to be an asshole. lol
I don't think they hate Tommy, they are just trying to protect Buck. I don't understand all the Tommy hate. Just like us, all of the characters have been shown to have character flaws. Hen, Eddie, and Buck have cheated on their partners. And Bobby was responsible for the death of his wife and children. Get a grip. Tommy isn't a POS, he just has flaws like everyone else.
@@scoobydoo582 Exactly. And encouraging someone you care about to move on after a break up DOES NOT equal "we hate your ex." That gets a huge eyeroll from me. I just don't get why fans have to go to such extremes with interpretations of Tommy's every single word and action. Like I've literally seen people dissect and discuss his mannerisms and look on his face when he handed Buck the birthday cone hat and assigned it all a negative meaning. Yes, that split second of screentime "clearly portrayed something" bad about their relationship. After a certain point it just gets absurd.
@@scoobydoo582first of all tommy is a canon racist and also plot device that nobody gives a fuck. second of all the characters you made a example are mains.
@@RSmith-gf2ucthe family hates tommy :)
I swear if Eddie and Buck don't get together before the show ends I'm gonna flip.
Men can be great, trusted best friends without being in an intimate relationship, geesh!
@@madamebow6187how many shows like that are there with close male friends, every body knows about that. But there isn’t even one show where men who are friends become something more throughout a lot of seasons, so that would be really special storyline.
@@jentwmen Not everybody and I'm not talking about a show, but life. So if "everybody" think otherwise and the show features a lot of fictitious events, then why not let this relationship remain them being best friends instead of turning the storyline into them being intimate; since "everybody knows about that".
@madamebow6187 but other thing can happen too, and since there are no stories like this that would be more interesting
When does Tommy dump Buck.
Episode 6 season 8
@Lils34-p2r then why does it say season 8
@@ariadallimore222 I said season 8?
@Lils34-p2r oh sorry my bad, I misread
@@Lils34-p2r I thought you said season 6 episode 8
Buck pinning over Tommy is so cute!❤
CAN EDDIE AND BUCK EVER GET TOGETHER?!
Dont think so
That would totally ruin the show's dynamic.
Hopefully not.
How many seasons has it been now? 6 i honestly feel like blue balls with how they toy with Buck and Eddie getting together! Keep them friends and have buck try dating Athena's new rookie.
Maybe in another life😞
Paul Robinette❤
Now I know where I recognize him!!!!❤
I loved him on Law & Order. ❤
Hen and Eddie are being like a mom and older brother to buck
Why can’t Hen be an older sister? Why mom?
@@KAriedoll honestly that makes more sense.
I thought that was Athena's spot being the mom
Hen is definitely the wise and funny sister! ❤
That would make Bobby the dad
While I love the dynamics, it feels very weird to me that Hen, Maddie and Chim are all telling him to not even try to save his relationship.
No it's makes sense they not going to want Buck to reach out for an ex who dumped him.
@@ConradTwigs exactly. People might still ship those two, but they are an ex, now
@@kas4485Storywise, because Tommy dumped Buck. That's it. Simple. irl if you're dumped by someone, you friend will react the same. Like they will tell you, he dumped you for frk sake, cope, and move on. It's not worth going back. But, production-wise, Lou's contract's ended and no more. And I think the producer knows that they have to calm Tevan shippers down a bit by giving them some time to cope with the breaking.
Yo esperando a que me den Buddie ♥️♥️
My heart says Tommy and buck are gonna back to each other... I'm so curious about what Tommy wanted to tell buck, but didn't.
I reallly miss Tommy (as a buddie fan😂) 🙃 I want him to comeback to the show
I hope so too, I miss Tommy.
I miss Tommy and Lou something awful.
Probably wanted to check in on Buck, felt badly
@@ajvintage9579 try watch his movies...I'm watching them and he is a great actor 😀
@@jhor729 I hope he wanted to say he missed buck
Hmmm... tommy definitely wanted to send a text to him... i really hope they find their way back to each other
@@Amaah1531 Agreed 👍
In a recent interview Lou who plays Tommy said his role on 911 is over and that he really enjoyed it while it lasted 😢😭😔
Don't believe everything actors say. They are required to keep things hidden when it comes to their shows/movies. @jessiemartine3271
I hope so too.
I kind of don't. I want Buck to move on. Tommy was a good first, but not long-term relationship. They barely knew anything about each other.
Is it me, or is Buck getting a little thick?
been…
It's all those baked goods.
Stress baking 💔😭
And?
It's called aging, the actor isn't in his 20's anymore.
I guess it would be interesting if buck has new LI instead, buddie wont be happening soon anyway...
I'm thinking it could be the new rookie being assigned to Athena.
This is kinda messed up. They are treating Buck like a child who can't handle his own relationship problems.
He can't.
but he literally cant. isn't that the whole point of Buck's personality?
hes not a child. but he literally CANNOT handle his own relationship problems..
thats not messed up. thats called being good friends. 😂
Truly, the man is in his 30's. They need to butt out.
@@IanBresett-McCormick you're still talking about a Emotionally neglected, and very likely neurodivergent person.
hes known to not being able to handle these situations well. his friends are helping him.
So the two cheaters are "helping" Buck's relationships? They need to butt out, both Eddie and Hen don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to being faithful. Buck, fight for and go get your man Tommy!
they’re not getting back together, get over it
Ikr
I don't understand you . Why you would want Buck to forget his SELF RESPECT to go after somebody who dumped him. If you have watched the previous episode you would know Tommy clearly has no reason to call off their relationship ,if he thought Buck was moving too fast he could've stated that simply and continue their relationship .Instead he chose to give a speech insinuating that Buck will end up hurting him intentionally or not.
About Hen if Karen forgave her wife I don't see why you are holding grudge against her especially since it happened in the first season ,ever heard of character development. About Eddie he shouldn't have done what he did with that being said ,just because he messed up one time with his girlfriend doesn't mean he is a bad friend to buck because it has nothing to do with Buck .PS he suffering consequence of his action .He has been with Buck through thick and thin no matter how his relationship with women had been .
Tommy hasn't been the perfect guy either if you have watched Season 2 in episode " Hen Begins" and "Chimney Begins" . Those matters haven't been addressed in the show unless you are blindsided to Tommy's negative side and only see other's.
Buck is also a cheater so...
@@adamcseh4879 right ... this person seems to overlook Tommy's flaws and specifically remember other characters .
wtf eddie&hen?
Like this were half as serious as Eddie's situation, cool off or you'll get wrinkles.
@@juanmanuelmoramontes3883 - "Serious" is not the correct word. "Stupid" would be. After all, Eddie is the one who mocks everybody else for being superstitious. But then he freaks out over Marisol having nearly become a nun - even having a hallucination of her as the Virgin Mary.
A depressed person or someone experiencing a mental health crisis is not usually the best at assisting their friends. It has nothing to do with him not being a good friend...he wasn't in a good head space.
Anyone else thinking Athena's new rookie might also be a new love interest for Buck?
Please no I didn’t like him 😂
@dorazharr you haven't seen him or her yet. Athena requested a new rookie at the end of last night's episode.
Doubt it. The only reason why Tommy and the actor left the show was bec hardcore fanatics were threatening him bec they want Buddie
@@jf9144 so you think Buck is going to be alone for the rest of the show? that makes no sense. and Lou seemed as confused as the rest of us as to why they had Tommy break up with Buck so I don't believe he left the show because of a few goofy fans.
@@scoobydoo582 I didn't say that. They may have to take it really slow and maybe start them off as friends.
Please bring Tommy back 😢
I know the actor does another tv show as well, but they certainly have left the door open so I'm choosing hope.
Please don’t
He actually has no purpose on the show. His purpose was only to be used as plot device to reveal Buck's bisexuality. I hope they make Buddie canon instead.
eddie is such a jerk messing with Evan eddie needs to leave Evan alone he needs to be concerned to get his son back
Eddies character needs to go to therapy real bad idk why his isn’t doing that this season to be honest wtf🤔.
He is having Evan's back. Tommy broke up with Buck, and calling Tommy is not going to be a good thing for Buck.
