i love bobby's "you don't leave her [athena's] sight". bc one would assume he wants buck to protect his wife in this high intense situation, but what's more likely is athena has to babysit buck's borderline-suicidal ass.
i think its called "A nightmare at dispatch" on season 3 where dispach is held hostage,Buck and chimney both attempt to go to the building to see if everything is ok bc maddie randomly hung up on chimney and 911 wasnt working. They both end up being caught by seargant Grant (athena) in which buck gets pulled over by athena (youre welcome)

Athenas talk to Buck when he said he didn’t know what being himself meant made me sob ngl. I’m glad it got included in this because that man sure as hell needed that
Yep they are still his adoptive parents after 4 years. The fact that Buck is back on the job after all the trauma he went through on the job is all due to Bobby! When Athena and Buck went to find Maddie hell they became her parents too!
Bobby Begins Again. The scene where Buck first arrives at the 118 in the middle of dinner and introduces himself. He takes the empty seat next to Bobby, and Buck says he feels like he’s in the right place, Bobby just smiles at him but you can see he’s thinking “yeah, I think you are”.
In Fight or Flight (2x13) there's a scene with just Athena and Buck in the car, Buck's sitting lost in thought and she actually calls him "Buckaroo" as she can see how worried he is. I rewatched the episode recently and only just picked up on it. Just a Mom calling her son by his pet name.
My personal favorite was when he was all ready to jump in the dumpster for evidence like Bobby did and Athena just pulled up behind him with a, “Don’t even THINK about it, Buck.”
His real parents never did that even after his apology in LAPD in the episodes onwards, for e.g Eddie get shot (even Taylor worried about his safety) punched by Chim, he and Eddie kidnapped by two prisoners, break up with Taylor (Bathena knew he dated her),
I swear we need more parent-child moments with these three! Buck is so precious, and I just wanna hear him call Bobby “Pops” like what was mentioned in season 1!
Peter Krause, the incredible person he is, takes time to connect with dedicated fans from a special fan club. The thought of meeting him feels almost surreal! Can you believe it's actually happening?
Absolutely! I remember it clearly. In 2021, I watched an interview where Krause talked about his experiences meeting dedicated fans. Curious about it, I did some research and discovered an exclusive fan club through Radiant Reservation.
Once you join and actively engage, members gain the exclusive opportunity to meet Krause in person. Each month, he dedicates time to connect with passionate club members, offering a unique chance for devoted fans to interact with him directly.
Registering is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is respond to emails. While meeting Krause may require meeting certain criteria, like active participation in fan events, the opportunity is definitely worth the effort.
@@lauratroy13 it’s just canon that neither Buck nor Maddie seemed to understand pop culture references they really should (at least in season 1&2) so I think their household probably just didn’t allow much tv or music.

This, and it’s why Buck went to the extreme of the lawsuit when he felt Bobby had betrayed him, it was an extreme reaction but Buck had never known what having protective loving parents was like, so couldn’t see why Bobby would feel or behave the way he did. Athena is bugged by this that something is happening...and then Bobby gets a call from Buck "Hey Cap, I did something" and Bobby and Athena have that look (you know the look, like what did he do now)
I have to side with Buck during the whole Maddie/Doug crisis. The cops were acting like Maddie was already as good as dead and they were more worried about gathering evidence to build a case to prosecute Doug than they were interested in trying to save Maddie's life.
Bobby: You saved two people while not in uniform. Me: He saved more than two. What about those he saved in that flood with nothing but determination and a single fire hose from, I believe, the 139 engine?
I’m racing through the seasons to catch up. But there’s an episode where Bobby tells the 118 that he’s a legacy. Something like 4th generation fire fighter. He lost the chance to be the father of the 5th generation when his kids died. However, he can be a father figure to Buck as his kinda 5th generation fire fighter 🥹
