I managed to get one on launch day in Frankfurt. That's a few hours of my life I'll never get back. Lol. Anyway when I saw it I was disappointed but got it because I waited so long. Anyway, my opinion is it's a toy, it's cheap, it's total trash, it felt like the recycled ceramic and cooking oil it's made from. It didn't hit even one marker, like something from Ali Express for €5. I couldn't keep it and I couldn't be a scalper for this horrible rubbish. I actually sold mine to an elderly couple who were far back in the line who wanted one for a 10 year old grandson. I felt sorry for them, as they were quite frail and would probably be disappointed when they sold out. Anyway I gave it to them for the exact price I paid. I felt a bit embarrassed that I queued up for it, more embarrassed that I bought it, and even more so that I had to charge more than €250 to the elderly couple for that trash just to get my money back, but I suppose it was a good deed too. I'm glad it will be available online though anyone who buys it will be extremely disappointed and feel they have been ripped off, though most people won't admit to it. Thank you for the intelligent and informative review. I went with a used Bulova Lunar Pilot just as you suggested. It's very much a real watch. I think the weight of the Swatch, which I heard was 29 grams, drove home the reality of what was being offered.
I bought a Speedmaster Pro new in 1989 in Japan. It was cheap (less than $1000 I recall, maybe a little more), when mechanical watches (especially hand-wound watches!) were decidedly un-cool. I loved it for two reasons: First, it was purely a machine. Plus, I was a little kid when they were worn on the moon. Perfect! It's now been my every-day watch for over thirty years. Now all that stuff is very cool again etc and Speedies cost a fortune :). Mine is on its 6th or 7th crystal, there are dings in the bezel, but I'm wearing it now and it still makes me smile. With all that said, I really like the idea of this happy little plastic toy. I'll probably get one in a year ot two whn prices stabilize, just for fun. I think everyone should have the amount of fun and good memories I've had with my old friend the Speedie.
Yes, I completely agree with what you’re saying! I think its a great piece simply because it gives many a chance to experience the look of a speedy without spending 4,5,6k. It comes in great colours and works as fantastic ‘memorabilia’ as you rightly mentioned. If I see it on someone’s wrist, I will always give them Kudos. It’s a cool swatch. Is it for me? No. Would I buy one? Probably not. But if someone else does and they like it, then great ! (I also feel the same way about the real speedy tbh. Im not a speedy guy, but am always happy seeing other people enjoy their watches).
I was looking forward to buying one of these online at retail (in an obviously not a real Omega color), but I think I might be over it by the time they're finally available. And the non-scratchproof crystal is kind of a bummer.
you can always spray paint the case black , I mean that's what they did , spray paint them LOL, the case is actually white when it comes out of the 3D printer .
The crystal on the genuine Omega Speedy Moon watch is Hesalite (acrylic / plastic) as sapphire will not expand or contract in space, but the plastic will. At least that is correct on the MoonSwatch . . .
Yes, and being a "cheap" watch I don't get why they did not use acrylic. I own an Amphibia that also has acrylic/plqstic crystal and yes, it scratches easily but you can also polish it very effectively with simple, obtainable stuff like Polywatch.
i couldnt agree more i purchased it opened the box and sold it for a small loss. But i was happy because i didnt have a cheap watch in my home that i didnt appreciate on quality. I never even removed it from the box!
As soon as I saw this watch in the video I knew the watch shown is the newer quartz version from SWATCH in a plastic like casement which is really not like the original. I would be very sure this watch is a very decent quartz watch being from a reputable manufacture. The original type of mechanical Speedmaster moon watch from Omega costs a fair number of thousands of dollars. Back in 1974, I bought the sapphire version using the 861a movement. I was flying aircraft, and used this watch with the navigation of the aircraft. It is the perfect watch for navigation of aircraft, boats, and most anything that can drive, float, or fly. Back in the 50s when this chronometer came out it was very popular with race car and rally car drivers. I have a number of Omega and other types of mechanical watches. I get them cleaned and adjusted at an authorized Omega service centre every 4 to 5 years. I put in a request at an Omega dealer to have the new released Omega Speedmaster using the coaxial movement. This watch is difficult to have. I am waiting for a number of weeks now. They told me I will eventually have this watch.
I’m glad this was not released online in mass production when it was launched, I was so hyped I was ready to buy 3 of these watches without question. Now I’m looking at a Hamilton watch for the price of 2 plastic MoonSwatches. It’s a nice concept and idea, I still love it, but I can’t spend $260 on a plastic quartz watch 💀
Thanks for the honest review! I think I’ll pick one up still just for the heck of it. As much as I love how the original Speedy looks, I don’t really care for chronographs to pay the price for them. Therefore this moonswatch is perfect for me.
want a real quality chronograph that looks absolutely stunning and feels as good as it looks , for around the same price you can buy a Citizen Drive , eco drive chrono, 1,000X better with a power cell that can last up to 30 + years . Don't waste your money on junk,
I was out of commission on launch day. Initially I was frustrated that I was excluded from being able to get one of these. This review identifies very plainly that this watch is a gimmick. A toy. A souvenir. I appreciate that insight. Now I know to save my money for the real thing instead. Thank You!
Love your review on this! Nice to see it up close. More than anything it's a stellar marketing move for me! One thing to note though, I got kinda confused with the color from your blue lighting, I kept thinking if there was a gradient blue and grey colorway haha
I had a 26+ watch collection ranging from Rolex to multiple Invictas. On a whim, I bought a Citizen Eco-Drive BL520 titanium/perpetual and added a 26mm brown leather band. The watch looks FANTASTIC, so much so, I sold every single watch I owned except one Invicta Corduba. 1 year on the Eco is even better than I thought
Great review. Honest, different to the other watch you tubers. Also first time I get some actual review on the durability / wear and tear of the watch.
I would still be interested, not by the Mission to the Moon, but some others such as Mission to the Sun (or to mars) for their bright colours. As a playful toy watch.
Genius idea by SWATCH imho. I'll get a few for sure - once they become available online, I certainly won't pay over retail to the flippers for such a novelty. Good review, thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
I must congratulate Swatch on the huge profit margin they must have on these. The watch costs around $25 and maybe less because they own the movement. So about $300 Canadian profit per watch. People are going to spend $320 Canadian for this, they should buy a Bulova Lunar watch (the other moonwatch) for about $150 more and get a real watch made of metal.
Why congratulate any business or industry that preys upon peoples foolishness? On a person to person basis, we would understand this as predatory behavior and chastise it, but since it's business many seem to say A Okay as long as there is marketing to back it. Garbage behavior is garbage, whether it comes from an industry, a clinical practice or an individual.
I virtually swore never to buy a Swatch again decades ago because of the disappointment I suffered with them in my youth:) I almost forgot and thought I wanted one of these, but I'm awake again.
I think that people forget that swatch = omega and omega = swatch. It’s a super iconic watch but omega is controlled by swatch which is why they have to do what they’re told
This is what I thought, but I didn’t want to rain on anybody’s parade. I could see both sides of the argument. I would buy a G-shock DW-5600 (I actually did) for $67 instead, if I wanted a cheap but real, high quality space-watch that went on actual missions. The plus being, I could throw the G-shock at a cement wall and it would just laugh at me.
My own thought is that lets wait to see how reliable the moonswatch really is. Maybe there is an angle that we are not appreciating at the moment. Maybe a little ecosystem will spring up to supply crystals and some such.
@@BraveBeaters it's pretty much officially licenced Omega merchandise, I don't think they intended it to be otherwise. Now, about the crystal, there isn't such thing as a "non polisheable", you just have the wrong compound. I've even polished an Omega vintage crystal with toothpaste and a microfiber. I bet you a real Speedy that I can polish that crystal
My previous model Omega was sitting in its elaborate box in the closest. Just sitting there. Because of the moonswatch craze, I pulled it outta the closet an purchased the new Moonwatches bracelet separately @ my local Omega boutique an $736 later an Viola. The craze set me off but in a good way !!
Thank you for sharing your honest opinion. To me it looks somehow cool but the plastic casing looks cheap(too cheap for 250 bugs), at least on the photos. But still gonna check it when it’s available. It’s absolutely true, when I for example have my Certina DS on the wrist I feel the quality and weight. Of course it costs almost 4 times a Moon Swatch but still maybe it’s not worth to invest the 250. Let’s see.
Great review. LOL, let alone what you could get from Casio or Citizen..! But, of course that's not the point. It's a cool little trinket that will get people interested in watches and help them understand the Speedy (which I understand proves a barrier to purchase for the mass market). It will also help Swatch, who are suffering. I've got a few Speedies and I'll get one of these for cycling some time - 30g!
Thanks for your time ⌚ I love old swatch automatics, and I'm looking for my first mechanical chronograph, they really could have gotten a good chunk of money from me if they went that direction
You should do a comparison with the Alpha moonswatch with the Seagull ST1903! That's going for 183 bucks now so about 70 bucks cheaper than the Moonswatch!! I would love to see a video on that comparison!!
I couldn't agree more with your gift shop analogy. For me, who is not interested in chronographs at all, I'd be happy to pay around 50 bucks or so, considering the materials and movement used. And not because of the history or the brand, but simply because it's a cool design. I like the idea of this cheap speedy copy that is not a replica or some aliex brand, but a "legit" speedmaster. I like how it brought more ppl into the watch community even if it they were mostly driven by hype. However, I would not wait hours on the street to get a hold of this. Especially not for this price. But, again, I think they created something special and even if you could buy a quality Casio for this amount of money, I get why ppl opting for this instead. Seeing the hype, I can easily imagine omega deciding to bring a real, stainless, quartz speedy to the market around the 1000$ mark. I think it would sell very well.
I got my Certina definitely in love with quality and design. BTW thanks to MoonSwatch! got me line up for 15 min in rain with kids just finally announced that we stop the sell ! and thanks again to bring me back to basic from Apple Watch to real beautiful Certina. Also thanks for you watch review. !
My beef with the Moonswatch is the price. At $260, I can get a lot more watch for an extra $100 with the Bulova Lunar Pilot. And now that I know you can't polish out scratches on the crystal, makes it a deal breaker for me.
@@barpenam As used on Apollo 15, or doesn't that mean anything to you? The whole point to these types of watches is a reminder on your wrist of the Apollo missions and space exploration.
Nope. You can polish it. It might have taken him to do longer time in the video, but with hand it is normal. With professional Polisher it takes only 10 .seconds. I feel to much hate on this video
Great review of a fun watch dood 👍! Literally scratching an itch 😄. I think I am going to wait for the Omega take on the Jelly Fish Swatch next year, though.
Looks like a fun watch for 250$. On one hand, this enables people to get into the hobby, on the other hand, more collaborations like that might dilute the brand name. Thanks for the review and video.
Kind of disappointed with the crystal, but I'm glad you were brave and took one for the team. You can probably sell it if you want, as they are still very hyped. Thanks for the review 😊
Andrei the Brave :) you should definitely sell it before it desintegrates … seems like the friction with the air poses some challenges. Let alone the wrist sweat…
I had the chance to buy one in store and laughed at how abysmal it was. If it came in a Christmas cracker than fair enough, but to actually pay money for it is beyond me.
Glass protector for cristal watch? WTF! I have a cheap 200$ Atlantic watch, 10 years on my wrist, it was scratched all over the places and walls, but the cristal its like brand new! I didnt see so strong material in my entire life!
The easiest way to tell the difference between a Speedmaster and a MoonSwatch is that the Speedmaster owner is not explaining how their watch is a Speedmaster.
Excellent and honest review...let’s hope this might inspire other future watch enthusiasts with their first purchase....(so long as they paid the RSP!! and NOT paid silly money on someone “flipping” one) Edited because yt like to spell for me....
Put in to perspective at the end when you mention the Flighty & the Bulova , but jeeez who makes a new watch look that beat up in such a short space of time ?!?.
When I went to Swatch to pick up the watch, the sticker on the crystal was scratched and came off easily. I checked in front of the employee and the crystal itself was ok…..he said they were all like that but if there were any scratches he could polish them out. Wonder what they are using ?
True, I like the collab and the design. But too many negatives for me to actually spend money on this. A loud watch and easy to scratch plastic glass is a giga turn off.
I have the Mission to the Moon, but honestly the Certina DS Podium Chrono GMT is far superior , but the Moonswatch is the watch of 2022, even though its a toy watch as you so succinctly put it.
The Certina DS Podium chrono GMT is a lot of watch, too underrated. Many Certina chronometer rated chronographs uses essentially same movements as Breitling's Quartz chronographs (also certified chronometers) while being found for a tenth of the price!
Look, for its retail price point, its either the moonswatch or Dw/MVMT. Id rather spend my money getting all the models of moonswatch than to spend money on even one of the latter. People genuinely over-hyped this (Understandable), but for the price and the omega-insignia, you cant really expect a lot from this watch.
I never understand why people use the term “TOY” for cheap watches? Would you call a super cheap car a toy car? Or an offbrand cheap TV a toy TV? Of corse not. Your using it in a derogatory way to make a point that this watch is not a “real” watch. It comes off as very snobbish.
@@-Jason-L Again, do you call anything else in life that’s cheap a toy? If you buy a cheap disposable pen do you call it a toy pen? No you don’t. It’s just a way for people to put down what other people like. We get it you are so much better because you can afford more expensive watch.

@@therunningpianist There is no doubt that it’s a cheap watch. I’m just pointing the fact out that nothing else in life that is cheap do people call a toy. People in the watch community call watches toys when they want to put down others that may like to buy the watch.
I seriously do not get all the hate this watch receives. It is just a "homage" to the original speedmaster made by the company which actually owns the brand. The watch is in typical Swatch fashion- it is light, fits well to the wrist and will probably work for a long time ( never had any trouble with Swatch watches). So I can`t understand why some people were expecting a 250 euro watch to be on par with a 6000 euro timepiece.
I’ve been looking at the watch for a couple weeks but wasn’t intending to check every single day if it’s avaliable at the retailer. Rather waiting for luck to stumble upon a delivery. Now I’m not sure because of one important detail you’ve brought up: the sound. I love the sound of mechanical pieces and tolerate quartz watches, but if it’s as loud as classic Swatch, then I’ve got to pass.
Interesting i guess, i won't be Buying one. More of a souvenir To the moon landings. It looks like Its made of crayon wax. Its not Going to age well lol. Great review, Far better than anyone else. 👌👍👊
The Funny thing is that even the Real Omega or Rolex are overprice watches that have the same materials that any watch from 60 pounds will have so this watch is like a mockery to snobs and the watch industry.
I own a swatch chrono with the same movement from mid 90's and is still working. I also must say that for the two working swatches that I have now half a dozen has fallen 😅
Let's be even more honest, for 250 bucks you can get a lot more watch from so many manufacturers. From the Seagul, to any Seiko, Orient, Citizen in that price range. And even if they don't have Omega on the case, an automatic seiko with a clean solid metal case, crazy good lume, and solid build, is by any measure a more precious watch. We're so used to crazy prices for watches that we don't realize for many people around the world, 250 is a bunch of money for a plastic quartz watch. Heck, if you go quartz, there's some nice Tissot and Hamilton options for that price.

Well said stud
Finally an honest review and a perfect opinion about this souvenir watch. Thank you!
"A souvenir watch to remind us of how great the cold mornings were in front of the Swatch store". Just brilliant!
Looks nothing like a Speedy - registers are incorrect. Trash.
@@life-onmars8223 It's not trash, it just isn't for you. Learn the difference.
I own an Amphibia that also has acrylic/plqstic crystal and yes, it scratches easily but you can also polish it very effectively with simple, obtainable stuff like Polywatch.
are they dropping again?
Been waiting for this one :) Thanks Andrei. You just saved me 260$
Haha, true! Depends, there are also good things that might make this worth 260$ but defo not a cent more!
It’s a summer watch something for fun and daily use, just hope they do a ceramic bracelet for it
I own one watch atm and was looking at paying resale prices to get this, glad I did my due diligence. Great video
i couldnt agree more i purchased it opened the box and sold it for a small loss.
Similar for me. I bought the Bulova Lunar Pilot. I love it.
Same I'm thinking to get the new 35mm prx instead
All valid choices instead of this hyped turd from Swatch.
@@ogotuwaobuto5366 yea I’m also planning on getting one of them, the secret moon watch!
Don't waste your money on junk,
Best watch channel on RUclips 💯💯
Thank you Adam, I appreciate your words :)
This is the advice everyone should be spreading, in my country they're trying to sell them for 1000 dollars!
Good review, thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you Steve, same here, when they will be available I will probably buy myself one or 2.
Exactly as a novelty watch I will totally order one as a conversation timepiece once they are online.
First review I've seen that pretty much says what I was thinking.
The mission to sun has a sunburst dial.
Neat little detail
I must congratulate Swatch on the huge profit margin they must have on these. The watch costs around $25 and maybe less because they own the movement. So about $300 Canadian profit per watch. People are going to spend $320 Canadian for this, they should buy a Bulova Lunar watch (the other moonwatch) for about $150 more and get a real watch made of metal.
Now that's a good suggestion!
Indeed... moonSwatch just has " to look the part " ... important for Instagram 🤣😂🤣😂😅
But Bulova Lunar seams not made in Swiss.
Love your humour and your passion. Great videos. Great content 🌟👍🏽🥳
ahahah thanks! :) I appreciate your words!
Great review. I like the honesty
I fancy getting one but my nearest shop is over 110 mile away and travelling to it without being able to reserve the watch is a hassle
Wait don’t you have another channel where you make things
I virtually swore never to buy a Swatch again decades ago because of the disappointment I suffered with them in my youth:) I almost forgot and thought I wanted one of these, but I'm awake again.
For that money I’d want an ETA PreciDrive movement, though, honestly, mostly watches with those cost at least twice as much as these Swatch models.
This channel doesnt get enough views. More Certina please! God bless and be well.
haha, thank you, as well! :) There is the new Sea Conservacy super ph 500m. maybe I can review that one :)
I wonder if the crystal can be replaced... hope somebody coomes up with crystal for this watch to upgrade
I am afriad it cannot be replaced
LOLOL something you'd buy at the gift shop after the tour LOLOL great line!
haha, I swear that this was the feeling when I put it on the wrist for the first time :))))
They should stick a magnet on the back. Would serve two purposes: avoid staining your wrist and get a fridge magnet
Cycling and watch worlds colliding when one of your favourite commentators comments on one of your favourite watch channels.
I really enjoy your videos. I think I will pick one of these up when it comes online.
Same here :) thank you very much!
Very good honest review toy or souvenir statement is acceptable
Thanks for your time ⌚ I love old swatch automatics, and I'm looking for my first mechanical chronograph, they really could have gotten a good chunk of money from me if they went that direction
You should do a comparison with the Alpha moonswatch with the Seagull ST1903! That's going for 183 bucks now so about 70 bucks cheaper than the Moonswatch!! I would love to see a video on that comparison!!
The « S » etched on the glass stands for « scratch »
Scratch allowed :D tru'
Fantastic sense of humour, great video 🙂👍
I got my Certina definitely in love with quality and design. BTW thanks to MoonSwatch! got me line up for 15 min in rain with kids just finally announced that we stop the sell ! and thanks again to bring me back to basic from Apple Watch to real beautiful Certina. Also thanks for you watch review. !
UU that's awesome! I am glad that you made the shift from smartwatch to classic :D Enjoy it!
My beef with the Moonswatch is the price. At $260, I can get a lot more watch for an extra $100 with the Bulova Lunar Pilot. And now that I know you can't polish out scratches on the crystal, makes it a deal breaker for me.
Exactly!
The Bulova is fugly tho
@@barpenam As used on Apollo 15, or doesn't that mean anything to you? The whole point to these types of watches is a reminder on your wrist of the Apollo missions and space exploration.
Nope. You can polish it. It might have taken him to do longer time in the video, but with hand it is normal. With professional Polisher it takes only 10 .seconds. I feel to much hate on this video
needed to know that info about the crystal!! thanks for saving me some money!
Great review of a fun watch dood 👍! Literally scratching an itch 😄. I think I am going to wait for the Omega take on the Jelly Fish Swatch next year, though.
I love your analogy of a souvenir watch! Sounds completely reasonable to me. Great perspective and info. Can’t polish out the scratches? Yikes!
The second hand does not even hit the markers correctly, btw which camera are you using, your videos looking very clean, detailed, and high quality.
I have a moonwatch so I was in no rush to buy these. But I’m happy to wait till they are more readily available
Thanks for keeping me safe from this one!
Thanks for the review 😊
haha, thanks, this is what the content creators should do :)
Andrei the Brave :) you should definitely sell it before it desintegrates … seems like the friction with the air poses some challenges. Let alone the wrist sweat…
@@ph69jbl well maybe it will transform into a skeleton 💀 watch , like Richard Mille , then it's even better deal The Swatch RM11 😋
The Moon Watch would also be my choice 👍
Ok, that scratch magnet crystal (whatever it’s made of) is a deal breaker. Guess I’ll get the Bulova Lunar Pilot or Seagull 1963 then.
For sure you will not be dissapointed!
I had the chance to buy one in store and laughed at how abysmal it was.
If it came in a Christmas cracker than fair enough, but to actually pay money for it is beyond me.
Use Cape Cod sheets to buff out scratches btw
love it and want one but it's a cheap plastic watch. Even retail at $260 is a bit high for what it is. No way paying scalpers prices.
Where did you purchae the black diamond rubber strap
The $8 glass protector for the Omega Speedmaster on Amazon fits this watch as well.
🤣
Glass protector for cristal watch? WTF!
I have a cheap 200$ Atlantic watch, 10 years on my wrist, it was scratched all over the places and walls, but the cristal its like brand new! I didnt see so strong material in my entire life!
The easiest way to tell the difference between a Speedmaster and a MoonSwatch is that the Speedmaster owner is not explaining how their watch is a Speedmaster.
Except that the speedmaster owner is going on and on and on how shit the Moonswatch is and how moronic people are for buying it. Goes both ways
Wearing my speedy and it’s perfect. No toy will satisfy your enthusiast craving for the actual moon watch
Great Review Andrei 👏👏👏. Bravo.
Gracias Leo!!
Excellent and honest review...let’s hope this might inspire other future watch enthusiasts with their first purchase....(so long as they paid the RSP!! and NOT paid silly money on someone “flipping” one)
Edited because yt like to spell for me....
Put in to perspective at the end when you mention the Flighty & the Bulova , but jeeez who makes a new watch look that beat up in such a short space of time ?!?.
Where do I get that black diamond pattern strap? :o
Hi, here's the link : 7friendsandwatches.com/p/watch-strap-natural-leather-black-slim-midnight/
Excellent insight, thank you! You might have more success using Autosol polish on the plastic glass...
I can try. Yup. Thanks!
@@BraveBeaters No problem, I find it works far better on plastic scratches.
I was under the impression that it was the Bulova that was actually worn on the moon....but i could be wrong.
When I went to Swatch to pick up the watch, the sticker on the crystal was scratched and came off easily. I checked in front of the employee and the crystal itself was ok…..he said they were all like that but if there were any scratches he could polish them out. Wonder what they are using ?
I'm speechless about how many people are hyping this watch. The quality is just horrible.
Cry
True, I like the collab and the design. But too many negatives for me to actually spend money on this. A loud watch and easy to scratch plastic glass is a giga turn off.
I have the Mission to the Moon, but honestly the Certina DS Podium Chrono GMT is far superior , but the Moonswatch is the watch of 2022, even though its a toy watch as you so succinctly put it.
Agree with you on both points :)
It's a plastic disposable swatch. Sounds like a toy to me
@@-Jason-L Again, do you call anything else in life that’s cheap a toy? If you buy a cheap disposable pen do you call it a toy pen? No you don’t. It’s just a way for people to put down what other people like. We get it you are so much better because you can afford more expensive watch.
@@turnbasedtoddy7664 These are literally a playful facsimile of the real the thing. A toy.
there are plenty of "real" watches, that are far better, for the same price and less.
@@turnbasedtoddy7664 I have a range of watches in my collection, from Seikos/G-shock to various Omega 8500s/9605/9300s. This moonswatch is definitely worthy of the toy name. I'd pay the same amount for a decent Seiko or G shock any time. Not a question of pure price. Quit with this inferiority apologist complex.
Swatch selling these in the gift shops at the NASA museum is a great idea.
Interesting i guess, i won't be
Buying one. More of a souvenir
To the moon landings. It looks like
Its made of crayon wax. Its not
Going to age well lol. Great review,
Far better than anyone else. 👌👍👊
thank you very much! :)
Also I purchased a moonwatch sapphire sandwich with the hezelite bracelet bc of this watch, so the marketing plan is working :)
Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten -Aldo Gucci
I still would like to own the mission to the moon. As “toy” as people say. A watch is a watch at the end of the day. It has it’s own beauty.
The Funny thing is that even the Real Omega or Rolex are overprice watches that have the same materials that any watch from 60 pounds will have so this watch is like a mockery to snobs and the watch industry.
Try brasso on the crystal. Might need some ultra fine sandpaper first.
for a decent price? Did you pay more than 250 euro?
yes, a bit more. it was on an exchange. I basically paid nothing :D
I own a swatch chrono with the same movement from mid 90's and is still working. I also must say that for the two working swatches that I have now half a dozen has fallen 😅
:))))))))))) funny story
Me to, i have a Swatch Irony Stainless steel chrono 1995 , works very well, never let me down.
Salut. De unde l-ai luat?
Let's be even more honest, for 250 bucks you can get a lot more watch from so many manufacturers. From the Seagul, to any Seiko, Orient, Citizen in that price range. And even if they don't have Omega on the case, an automatic seiko with a clean solid metal case, crazy good lume, and solid build, is by any measure a more precious watch.
We're so used to crazy prices for watches that we don't realize for many people around the world, 250 is a bunch of money for a plastic quartz watch. Heck, if you go quartz, there's some nice Tissot and Hamilton options for that price.
How on Earth did you scratch the crystal to this extent in less than 3 weeks? Damn
I bought it preowned :) so I am not the author of the scratches
@@BraveBeaters lol fair enough. Someone went really hard on it 😂
