I wired the big water pump with standard wire and pylons. It's good to know it can be connected to the vault directly. A word of caution to those who may not have noticed, the vault specific connectors are pretty resource intensive. If you're not too concerned about aesthetics, the regular ones cost half the copper. I found out the hard way when I ran out of copper mid build.
Still, you can buy copper from most scrap dealers. And money is no object, even pretty near the beginning of the game. "2,368 bottlecaps? Bottlecaps? How ridiculous! Here, take 158 gallons of water, my good man." Remember, Sanctuary is built on an ISLAND! Vault 88 has a natural water supply that will keep plenty of pumps occupied. Feed the water to your scrap dealers and there's all the copper, and caps, and bullets, you ever need. Surely everyone figures out the "water farming" method pretty quickly, right?
@@PS_Boom You build an absolute shitload of Industrial Water Purifiers in the water surrounding Sanctuary. Powering them all is a pain until you get fusion power, but you'll just have to build some large generators. Collect loads of scrap, build as many as you can, and every day you'll come back to loads and loads of water. Which you then sell for caps and goods. Particularly, build a stall for a scrap parts dealer, and buy loads of his stuff every time, giving you more scrap to construct stuff, like industrial water purifiers, from. You should have enough to empty out his stock AND his caps, soon enough. Then whenever you want to buy something expensive, load up on water and go to the stall you want, pay them in water. Get your stuff and all their caps as well! You can have, say, 600 water per day to spend, when you really fill the river up with purifiers. Even 200 is plenty to go on with though. The water just piles up, you do nothing, except trade it! Also the water will only produce until it's filled a day's worth in the workshop's storage. So I built a little safe nearby to store excess in, that way if there's any water I don't want to trade on a particular day, stick it in the safe, then the purifiers keep on producing. That's just a little quirk of the game.
***** it can not be that bad unless they really fucked up there was a boat mod for skyrim so you could sale down the rivers and it worked reasonably ok to a certain extent anyway
Depends on how you do it. If you could put your person into a sitting action, you can make a cart animate like a NPC with you in it. Allowing you to ride this "NPC" on a set pathway at a set speed. It is kinda like the Monorail in Fallout NV, but that one triggers once you leave it.
I love the way you detach elements and so smoothly move up and down with the jetpack attaching them back... looks all coming so natural.... chapeau! Very beautiful building by the way, you demonstrated me how possible my ideas were, about Vault 88... now my concern is actually filling such a huge vault with dwellers! My idea was to keep it as a vault for ghouls keeping Valery Barstow still as Overseer and to do that I had to resurrect dome of the ghoul raiders from outside the vault surroundings as active defense in a very "sick" environment. Building down there is gonna be fun indeed and I appreciate your choice to have windows to preserve the view on the caves outside the bulding.
Just a note - with Scrap Everything and console I was able to connect East section to main entrance. Since I was not happy about using wires everywhere, I tried to connect it through vaults parts because of it's internal electricity wiring. First, with Scrap Everything plugin I removed dirt piles and railways inside tunnel, couple of rock chunks it couldn't remove I deleted with console. then I extended a line of atrium floor tiles from original vault entrance. Atrium floor tiles kept clipping into walls of tunnel, in the end I got 2 tiles wide clean floor. For incline inside tunnels I used domestic stairs twice, their above entrance can clip to atrium floor, but in one case I had to add domestic hallway tile on bottom since atrium floor didn't want to clip there. Domestic stairs - because usual atrium stairs do not conduct electricity. Of course, parts of tunnel tubes went through walls but otherwise it worked. Resulting floor in east section isn't too high from ground, only 1-1.2 meters of free space under it. Just a little higher than tubes near water plant. Maybe it would be possible to do the same without scrap everything, I'll try it later in older save
TJG Online and want to know the best part? You actually connect all the sectors of Vault 88, you can a scrapable wall in the North East sectors to reach to East sector, said scrapable wall is hard to reach though.
@@gustaviansyndrome2583 climb up the rock wall behind the unfinished set of vault rooms at the entrance of the East Sector from the main area the scrapable wall is up there
You technically can connect through the subway tunnels.... it just requires you disable (in console commands) some of the dirt flooring on the right tunnel. There is actually a proper subway rail under the dirt texture and it lowers the floor enough to snake a few stair sets in with no collision issues. Takes a bit of playing but I got it to work quite well... save before you disable anything in case you mess up.
ugh I wish I saw this before I attempted to relentlessly build my tunnel through the east sector, which didn't even matter when I did glitch to align it
If you use Etheron's pipes mod you can connect the east sector if you don't mind not having all vault pieces. Gotta say though this vault looks amazing, I can't wait to see a tour of it when its finished.
Thanks! It's important to use all vault pieces because that's the only way to make sure electricity flows correctly. If you swap out other pieces, then you'll have to use wires to power a portion of your vault. I'm trying to avoid that.
Ahh ok I get what you're saying. I'm totally cheating with power though I have a mod that gives me switch boxes that don't have to be wired to anything.
Came back to this video and it amazed me all over again about how this Vault (which was intended for players to build in) was horribly designed and is impossible to work with
Actually u can connect east sector to main atrium buts it’s a huge pain but actually comes out really nice as for the area to the right throw a poster on those holes in the wall and maybe throw some food plants down in that huge area lol, as for how to do it watch elite 1’s video; I was even able to fit atrium tiles in every space in the top part minus 1 spot where dirt was too high through a lot of finagling
I like your diligence with mazing the vault sectors together. I personally enjoyed leaving them separate and creating completely different facilities in each sector like they were four or five different settlements in one.
Great video, Oxhorn, I knew there was a way to do it I’ve been struggling to do vault 88, for a while and you’ve given me some really good ideas on how to do it. It’s a pleasure watching your videos, thanks from a very grateful woman in her late 60s. Big hugs and kisses 😘
Hi Oxhorn, as always a fantastic video. You help me "see" the potential uses for space and I create better for the head starts you give. Thank you so much. :) Today for the first time I had an idea that I thought you might like? In the long windowed halls I couldn't help but wonder if it would light sufficiently if the lights were outside of the windows? That would really show off the undergroundness and atmosphere of the space, which I love. It reminds me of theme park lighting effects. :)
Man I had so many issues with this dlc, I've watched like every vault video thank you so much! You earned my subscription lol please upload your vault at the end so I can have inspiration !!
Hey Ox, one way to fix the lights issue is to stick your lighting wiring on a switch you can turn on and off when you zone into your settlement. You'll need to wire everything in the vault to wiring on the exterior of the vault structures, but I'll give you an easy way to make sure the lights work during tours.
If you have not done this much with other settlements; you can drop junk and scrap it. Even junk that is already scrapped. You can even drop it and store to workshop for extra space. But if you have done this to a lot of other settlements then it may cause the game to crash often.
Get yourself a bunch of big weapons mini guns, rockets launchers, garbage shooter ec'cetra big things. Add weight to them via upgrades put all the heaviest upgrades the weapon can take. Go to the settlement you wanna minimise the building limitations for. Build a small square concealed room with a door on it. Get inside. Drop all the weapons on the floor inside. Now jump in build mode an "Store" all the things you've dropped inside and watch your limitations go back to zero. Congrats, now you can build more. Keep in mind your game will suffer the more you do this within a single settlement. Know your games mechanic limitations an proceed with caution.
Djordje Sazdic Hey, just curious but do you know what happens if you pass the limit massively other than an fps drop? I am also playing on ps4 and have built about 12x the limit at red rocket, I have only lost a few fps though because the game is still kinda "smooth" at the settlement. Will I just one day build too much and the save will corrupt, or what will happen?
For me personally when I first started building in Sanctuary I went through like 3 or 4 different settlement builds. Like I rebuilt it I think at least 4 times with each time adding more an more intricate detail destroying rebuilding repeatedly. In the end I ended up with a HUGE cave like city with lights decorations the works (mind you I did all this while baked lol) and in the end when I was playing it sober I noticed how extremely laggy it all was. So seeing as we play console if I played on pc maybe it wouldn't have lagged so much. Knowing this when I build now in other settlements I try to minimise the amount of intricate detail I put into everything an only do a little bit lol. That way when I build huge city's or massive structures it doesn't technically lag that badly for me. Hope that helps homie
You CAN connect the East sector. Just not through the train tunnel. Behind the water pump to the left is big enough and you can snap stairs and build and power from the entrance with a two foot wire
I'm currently playing without mods and started my Vault 88 build, and connecting the sectors together it nukes my settlement limit without decorations. I'm thinking of using the glitch to reduce my limit, but I fear that the basic connections made originally, plus the add ons, plus decorations, will ultimately doom my build. And tips?
So, I made this account just to inform you that it is possible to connect to East Sector via main entrance. Using the atrium floor, and vault support to snap underneath, then snapping another atrium floor to support, repeating this process will basically create a set of steps or a custom stair chain. When I first heard you iterate not possible, I immediately thought scaffolding: that also works but its more troublesome. Either way, both methods works, yet take some effort. Cheers!
Thanks! This is a good idea. The only problem is that power won't pass between those pieces. Floors have to snap together for power to convey through all connected pieces.
Hey Oxhorn, again, thank you for the great video. I did find a way to get the east sector connected. If you go to the east sector and swim around the water purifier, there is a huge wall you can scrap that leads to the Northeast sector. from there you can connect hallways to the east sector and get your water purifier on vault power. I use the east sector for farming so I'm working on closing it in now.
@oxhorn You can connect a utility door to the wide hallway then connect a utility stair going down and it goes flush on the floor without having to use supports.
Honestly I don’t mind that the East-section transition is unusable. There are several instances where Vault’s go “out-of-vault” and reveal the caves and tunnels that house said vaults, so that transition has the chance of being another one of said instances
take a shot for each time you said sector and you'll be wasted on the floor, lol. I was gonna build a vault throughout the caves but decided not to and just decorate it like separate litte cities or towns instead.
Long halls snap to doorways. I have the same long hall connected to a considerably less impressive atrium, and I used a atrium doorway. Second floor door connects to a smaller hall/some rooms for me, but it does work.
thx for this, it's answered a few questions. I overcame the step down the rusty stairs using the domestic stair well. With a bit it juggling it fits quite well.
I have not looked at all the comments here but it is possible to connect the pump room to the rest of the vault through a scrappable wall around the back of the pump to the left.
There's actually a way to connect the Northeast and East sectors, you just need to look up in that first area where the construction was going on and find a limestone wall.
Love your work, and forgive me if this is answered later on, but why don't you just use the wide hallway door junctions? I get why you didn't use it at the atrium junction (wide open majestic feel to entrance), but the stairway one felt needlessly fiddly, when you can use a wide hallway endcap, then attach a utility doorway to the other side, then start daisy chaining the stairways.
Taking a break from Classic Wrath to pick up FO4 for the 1st time. Looking for help, I clicked on a random video and was really surprise when I recognized your voice! "Is that Oxhorn, NO WAY!" roflmao. I didn't even know you did FO4 vids. Guess I forgot to sub on this account. TY for help, these vids are great, even if I'm 6 years late. 🤗
I think I’m 7 years too late, but you can connect to the water station in the East sector via the north east section you clear a bunch of rocks at the top of a landslide where those red an blue vault pieces are stuck together
I know i'm like, super late. But you actually can link up the east sector to the atrium. There is a set of limestone walls in the pump room that you can bust down that will lead back to the atrium.
I was able to connect to the vault-tec water pump via a side route in the north east area. then from the water pump use bridges and stairs to connect back to the attrium along the east sector tube.
I connected the east sector to the main cave. It involved the use of the console commands, but I did it. Also, if you don't use a mod to expand the settlement size, your settlers will not go anywhere other than the main cave.
don't know if you know man but I just saw in someone's vault building video that the wide hallways have a wide hallway with a normal door on it so it connects to a normal doorway. I didn't even realise they had that til now. I thought they were just wide halls with no doorway and you had to make a doorway somehow yourself
Damn your build looks good, inspired me to scrap my crap and start over, sent my meager 10 settlers to sanctuary, console open scrapall and badabing start again. Great videos though fella, inspiring amount of work and descriptions and hints are all well put across, much appreciated !
You can link the rest of the Vault up with the east sector, you just have to route it through the cave that runs between the main area and the NE sector (the one with the handful of pre-assembled Vault modules), not the train tunnel.
i really want to put some of the Nuka World DLC decorations outside those snaking hallways. imagine just looking outside while in the vault and seeing a cappy statue just giving you a judging stare.
thanks for all your settlement builds and tips they are amazing and helpful and always give me something to strive for. Please keep doing what you are doing your videos are great man. Take care.
Was noticing the lettering for directions on your walls. Did you do that manually or is there a snap next to each letter? If so, how? I've been hoping there was a snap feature on them.
I know this is an older video, but seemed the appropriate one for this request. Could you do a slow walkthrough of the bare cave system of Vault 88 (after scrapping) and place that footage side-by-side in split screen with walkthrough of completed Vault tunnel and room pieces (so it's a before and after at same time)? I have not seen anyone do that yet and think it would be extremely helpful as this is probably the location of greatest frustration for builders. Thanks for all your great content.
That looks great how you snaked the walk ways around the tunnels and especially the industrial water pump but I couldn't see how you had the pump powered in that tight space.
Another RUclipsr, Jug I think did an awesome video showing how he built tunnels in every section of Vault 88 caverns. I'm not sure if his stepped sections carried the power.
I feel like your metal bars would be better suited to the exterior of your windows, to protect your glass from any falling rocks in the cavern and such.
Defense doesnt work that way. Oxhorn has several vids about how it does. Bluntly, unless you go to the settlement thats under attack, there is only a 75% chance of winning & thats with your defense vastly outweighing your resources. The only 100% way is to go to each settlement when theyre attacked.
In my first play through, I was only able to build a vault in the main section, the game said I reached my limit for building anything else before I could try branching out. I’ve been working on my second play through for a few weeks now. This time I’m going for an underground shanty town. No real vault, but lots of wooden shacks! It’s soooo much easier!
I know this is a year too late but there is a glitch you can use (you probably already found it but just in case you haven't), you just drop weapons on the ground and then you just store them into the workshop. This causes (for some reason) the building limit meter to go down. A bit of a warning, Use this glitch to completely deplete the meter only three times or something. otherwise it can glitch out your save. I went the oposite route for bulding my vault 88. Instead of making one large single structure (like most players like to do), i just turned it into a "city" of sorts (like you did) BUT not a shanty town. I made a tiny Washington DC in the main hall. 😆 It has a parlement building, federal court house, presidential palace, and a imigration/defence department building , a monument dedicated to the minutemen (that is stylewise a combination of the licoln memorial and the jefferson memorial.) and a nice bar/retaurant with a open terass with a view of a tiny square/ park. Haven't realy been able to make something nice in the other parts of the vault yet (limited with the base settlement building objects since i'm just on console and i refuse to pay for mods)
@@nielsmichiels1939 Oh, hi! Now that you mentioned it, yes I found out about that glitch during my second play through. One other thing I had a problem with was getting electricity to all the areas of that vault. I know it’s supposed to be sent through the vault floor panels, but I think the range was limited. I ended up building generators in each section rather then depend on just one generator. Oh well. If I ever play through Fallout 4 again, I’m going to try making that farm below the old highway over pass my one and only settlement. Because I found out you can build stairs that reach the over pass, then build up there too! Then I have have missile turkeys aimed at two raider locations all the time! It’ll be so awesome!
@@mdredheadguy1979 the reactor near the vault gate can only produce so much, there is and even bigger reactor that can produce much more power. then just use wires and poles to get the power to the entirety of the vault. _"hen I have have missile turkeys aimed at two raider locations all the time! It’ll be so awesome!"_ Indeed. 😆
I'm confused -- did Oxhorn do a "The Full Story of" video for Vault 88? It's not in the Quincy Quarry video, although it's mentioned there -- and the video linked is just the experiment stuff, not the actual story. I'm not seeing a video just called "Vault 88" like there are for other vaults. I get that it's part of the Workshop DLC, but I'm still curious. Could someone link me to the "Full Story" video if it exists? or tell me if it doesn't. Thanks!
I'm feeling a bit let down by this dlc they could have made it just a little bit different so you could conect them and ready made hydroponics boxes would be nice (I know you can knock somthing up with Westland workshop but it makes it feel in accuart)
Drop items from your inventar on the ground, the games thinks that are things you build in that settlement, then pick them up again and the size bar shrinks
I built my place pretty big as well, although I do seem to have a pathing issue. like I noticed if you build a quarters or like a cafeteria, if it's too far from the entrance they don't go anywhere near it. Sadly.. I wish there was a mod to fix this and enhance the sandbox distance of the settlers.
Oxhorn I'm not sure if you still read these comments but I had a question. I've tried and tried to create a ramp around the water pump like you have but I just can't get the alignment correct. Do you have a trick for that?. I run on an Xbox Series X. Thank you and u hope all is well with you and yours.
How did you clear so much space? I play on PS4 and I know PC may have vastly more room in terms of limits. But could I reduce my space that much and if so how? Scrapping literally every thing you see? Even small little things like toolboxes etc? I believe I found all the hidden rooms as well.
Very nice! I am currently working on my vault at level 25 and I am working on clearing out the sectors and building in to them. Its a shame you cannot build into the east sector.
Vault 88 is weird, lights dont emit that well & certain lights glitch through the ceiling becoming invisible from within but u can see & adjust them from the outside
If you can't build a hallway to the East Sector then what was the point of them creating the East Sector if You Can't Connect it. Is it possible they made a mistake? Or was it purposely set Up to be like that for some odd reason
I built my synth lab in vault 88 after I'd done the quests - by the way, for those using console commands don't use scrapall in vault 88 until you have done all experiments otherwise you only get the basic ones
My northeast section and my north section dont align and therefore I cannot connect the two sections. I've gone through all the connections looking for gaps but did not find any. Can the two sections be joined?

So I built a little safe nearby to store excess in, that way if there's any water I don't want to trade on a particular day, stick it in the safe, then the purifiers keep on producing. That's just a little quirk of the game.
take some radaway dude
someone should make a mod to fix the rails so you could use a cart to travel around your vault faster
***** the vault isn't that big and there are people who run over a 100 mods at the same time it can handle it
***** it can not be that bad unless they really fucked up there was a boat mod for skyrim so you could sale down the rivers and it worked reasonably ok to a certain extent anyway
Depends on how you do it. If you could put your person into a sitting action, you can make a cart animate like a NPC with you in it. Allowing you to ride this "NPC" on a set pathway at a set speed. It is kinda like the Monorail in Fallout NV, but that one triggers once you leave it.
Robert Surratt that's exactly what I wanted
Ryan Tombs it handles vertibirds. Surely it can handle a box on wheels moving on straight rail.
I wish I could build a vault like yours because mine is terrible
Same
just talked a lot of time. Mines pretty bad because of snapping
im going to make it my main priority to make a vault like his. it'll take some time and a lot of pausing but ima do dis.
It takes lots of trail and error and patience. Its a significant task to build vault 88
my vault always felt a bit small, because i basically used the main chamber. the way bethesda made this vault, was rather lackluster.
Maybe it would be possible to do the same without scrap everything, I'll try it later in older save
... @4:14 ... "support the supports with one of these supports" .... SUPPORTCEPTION !!
Video: how to connect all parts in your vault
Oxhorn: this you cannot connect
TJG Online and want to know the best part? You actually connect all the sectors of Vault 88, you can a scrapable wall in the North East sectors to reach to East sector, said scrapable wall is hard to reach though.
Elite 1 did a tunnel connection.
@@Mwilli2132 can you tell me how?
@@gustaviansyndrome2583 climb up the rock wall behind the unfinished set of vault rooms at the entrance of the East Sector from the main area the scrapable wall is up there
@@Mwilli2132 I see, Thanks!
I built down it using atrium floors ' ramp scaffolding and the wood ramp from contraptions workshop
ugh I wish I saw this before I attempted to relentlessly build my tunnel through the east sector, which didn't even matter when I did glitch to align it
If you use Etheron's pipes mod you can connect the east sector if you don't mind not having all vault pieces.
I'm totally cheating with power though I have a mod that gives me switch boxes that don't have to be wired to anything.
im not even gonna ask how you cleared out the water purifier room... :/
Brilliant ingenuity in connecting all the different sections!
I like your diligence with mazing the vault sectors together. I personally enjoyed leaving them separate and creating completely different facilities in each sector like they were four or five different settlements in one.
Please do a tour of your vault when your done!
Will do!
Ugh ty! I spent like half an hr trying to connect the east sector using a variety of different pieces to no avail. Good to know it wasn't just me
Hey Ox, one way to fix the lights issue is to stick your lighting wiring on a switch you can turn on and off when you zone into your settlement. You'll need to wire everything in the vault to wiring on the exterior of the vault structures, but I'll give you an easy way to make sure the lights work during tours.
Do you have any recommendations on how to deal with the ridiculously constraining size cap? I'm on PS4 and I can't do anything about it. :(
If you have not done this much with other settlements; you can drop junk and scrap it. Even junk that is already scrapped. You can even drop it and store to workshop for extra space.
But if you have done this to a lot of other settlements then it may cause the game to crash often.
wthrill there is now
Get yourself a bunch of big weapons mini guns, rockets launchers, garbage shooter ec'cetra big things.
I started a modest, pretty standard atrium/market that is directly connected to the default main entrance tile to avoid issues building later
You can connect the east sector to the atrium using the domestic ramp. You may still have pipes sticking thru the wall but it actually looks natural.
I have not looked at all the comments here but it is possible to connect the pump room to the rest of the vault through a scrappable wall around the back of the pump to the left.
...ok, watch the whole video fool.
I can't wait for PS4 mods to come rolling in
There's actually a way to connect the Northeast and East sectors, you just need to look up in that first area where the construction was going on and find a limestone wall.
SnappGamez he put that in the video
Love your work, and forgive me if this is answered later on, but why don't you just use the wide hallway door junctions? I get why you didn't use it at the atrium junction (wide open majestic feel to entrance), but the stairway one felt needlessly fiddly, when you can use a wide hallway endcap, then attach a utility doorway to the other side, then start daisy chaining the stairways.
isn't there a piece that connects a wide hallway to atriums doorways? like it's litterally has the door to one side of the hallway
Also!!! Could a future video possibly explore building vaults outside of vault 88? I would love to see your take on your own vault!!
Great idea! Adding it to my list.
Yep that's true!
i really want to put some of the Nuka World DLC decorations outside those snaking hallways. imagine just looking outside while in the vault and seeing a cappy statue just giving you a judging stare.
You can connect the east sector to the main area via a piece of destructible wall behind the water pump to the left :)
thanks for all your settlement builds and tips they are amazing and helpful and always give me something to strive for. Please keep doing what you are doing your videos are great man. Take care.
You can just use a special piece which connects the wide halls to any other style.
Thanks for all your great content.
to connect wide halls to atrium properly u use wide hall end piece with door and snap that to a atrium piece with door (door to door)
How do you get the common rooms to snap onto domestic or utility hallways?
That looks great how you snaked the walk ways around the tunnels and especially the industrial water pump but I couldn't see how you had the pump powered in that tight space.
I'll show it off in my overview vid. I just power it via wires to a power conduit.
Another RUclipsr, Jug I think did an awesome video showing how he built tunnels in every section of Vault 88 caverns. I'm not sure if his stepped sections carried the power.
I understand that the connect is on top of the water pump, but can you please talk about how you connected it in a clean fashion?
If you take away the one piece between the long hallway and stairs it'll snap in and the stairs will lay flat on the ground on the slope
I feel like your metal bars would be better suited to the exterior of your windows, to protect your glass from any falling rocks in the cavern and such.
I use your blueprint but how do you get the water working in the middle mine has no water
You can get a wide hallway down the rail tunnel to the water purifier, but not that far.
Hey Oxhorn, question? do you think you do a "hands free" defense so you never have to travel to settlements for preteen?
Defense doesnt work that way. Oxhorn has several vids about how it does. Bluntly, unless you go to the settlement thats under attack, there is only a 75% chance of winning & thats with your defense vastly outweighing your resources. The only 100% way is to go to each settlement when theyre attacked.
You can connect to the esat sector through a other sector (behidn the water pump there is an opening you can use)
Are you using a no size limit mod? Are the different sections counted as separate limits? Why do you bother with supports?
Edward Linzer afaik
1. Probably, but I can’t tell
2. Yes
3. Immersion/Realism (and perhaps OCD), Oxhorn in particular hates seeing floating structures
Yes each section has different size caps i just used a mod to free myself from capping
I built corridor/stairs that all connect to the vault parts in that train station tunnel. It's annoying but it can be done.
You can connect the east sector, there's a limestone wall behind the water pump that leads to another sector.
It has a parlement building, federal court house, presidential palace, and a imigration/defence department building , a monument dedicated to the minutemen (that is stylewise a combination of the licoln memorial and the jefferson memorial.) and a nice bar/retaurant with a open terass with a view of a tiny square/ park.
@@mdredheadguy1979
the reactor near the vault gate can only produce so much, there is and even bigger reactor that can produce much more power.
then just use wires and poles to get the power to the entirety of the vault.

Indeed.

With the wide halls, you can use a the wide hall to doorway piece and then connect it to an atrium doorway
I thought I built a good vault... till I saw this video. Now I'm going to sit on a corner to cry and think how pity I am.
Thanks!
There are a number of door sections for those wide halls.
This seems simple enough i just needed the general idea of how to do so thank you very much :)
you can connect the east sector if you go behind the pump
I'm feeling a bit let down by this dlc they could have made it just a little bit different so you could conect them and ready made hydroponics boxes would be nice (I know you can knock somthing up with Westland workshop but it makes it feel in accuart)
How are you building this giant structure? Just building my atrium puts me up against the settlement size limit!
I notice the same thing. Settlers don't go into the deeper places of the vault.
How did you get the water towers to work in the main room? Is that a mod? Nice looking vault!
Wide hallways have a doorway end cap that can attach to doorways as well.
That's true! But if you want an open hallway, this is how I went about it.
Nice vid, thanks. Nice touch with the ramps, I would of just done stairs .. I will try it and see if I can do it as well.
Very nice! I am currently working on my vault at level 25 and I am working on clearing out the sectors and building in to them. Its a shame you cannot build into the east sector.
you can connect east section true the metro tunnels , i used the scrap everything mod from the nexus to scrap the dirt and rails in the tunnels
Anyone know why he has no lights?
It’s a problem with vault 88 itself, light seems to have a difficult time being displayed in the area for some reason.
Where is the water towers in the build menu that you have featured in the water?
Oxhorn, in your atrium how did you get that big container with water falling out? I really would like it in my build.
I will show you how when I finish my vault lived-in settlement build. Coming soon!
***** ok thanks
My northeast section and my north section dont align and therefore I cannot connect the two sections. I've gone through all the connections looking for gaps but did not find any. Can the two sections be joined?
Hey nice vids ox. For some reason my settlers in vault 88 keep randomly dying. Especially t the ones that i assign to guard near the vault door. This is without me being raided. 3 settlers lost as of now /: Please do a vid on this if you experience the same bug.
