Oh, my goodness! She is so classy, well spoken, and lovely. Everything about her, here, exudes the power of a life well learned from, of trials and triumphs, of loss and love, of experience and true beauty. Her beauty is far more glorious than mere youth!
Well cast, BBC2, well cast!
Thank you!
Angela
True
I feel everything in her kitchen has a story behind it, the spoons, cups, canisters. If ever ask her about them, she will whisk me into the charm of old world with her descriptive story telling.
...it's a set
Mrs Potts everyone wanna be dramatic like she’s gonna notice them lmfao
iirc, she uses her late mother's and late sister's wooden spoons. I think it's touching that she keeps the humble workhorse of the kitchen, the wooden spoon, and to uses it while remembering its previous owner.
I've made this twice; once using blueberries and another using blackberries. Both were absolutely delicious! It was a HUGE hit with everyone :)
Ooooh a blackberry version would be right up my street.
Hi madam iam from INDIA Love you
When she says,” my lucky day!!”😇😇
I know. She’s so angelic when she talks. 😩🙌😭❤️
The person who selected the background music for this video deserves a knighthood.
I always love how her show is lit . Very soft warm light makes you just want to live there
I love her glorious way of speaking. ❤️
Nigella the unparalleled.
Hehehehe The color of 1940s nail varnish... lovely description!
PumpkinEskobarr Yaaaaaas 😊
this woman has found the fountain of youth
Yes, it's called plastic surgery.
@@PorcelainLeigh :D .
I think it’s the perfect combination of chocolate, oil, cream and alcohol. 😂😂😂
She eats ALOT of carbs and drinks alcohol and yet....she looks so slim and youthful!
I think it's not like she really eats these rich foods all the time. I once saw an episode of one of her shows where she made a salad with shrimp and admitted that what she mostly eats looks more like this. And also: she's rich and had to neither work super hard or worry about money at any point in her life. That plus surgery and sun screen got her where she's at with her looks.
Her voice is so soothing. Can listen to her all day.
Is nobody talking about that copper spoon set???
Noticed it.
Beautiful
I can go on and on about all her utensils coz I am Obsessed!
I realised it years ago. Her stuff is like. Luxury porn. Most people can’t afford this. Why I came to dislike it.
The highlight is the way she speaks and her grace
Love her! There's nothing better than coming home after a long day of work and watching her. Have all her books!
I really miss the climax of nigella tasting her preparation in these videos
I can watch and listen to her beautiful British accent all my life. I never ever get bored watching her. She's awesome chef. 👌
How is she so sensual when she is just cooking innocently?
Cats
Macs
Because she isn't
Nigella and Paolo Nutini as your back ground music- your show cannot get any better!!!!
I've always enjoyed your cooking shows, and now, Simply Nigella, is a tribute to your wisdom and love of cooking. Truly, you are an inspiration!
I loved the way how she starts with her business of cooking without the formality "hi Welcom to my channel" jazz that it sounds. Only she cud hav pulled it off that gracefully..without appearin rude or eager for subscription.
Just made the cake. It is absolutely fabulous!! 😍
She’s the corner of the world that heals 💡 she’s like a true beacon of love, light, warmth & Devine femininity 💖 this what being a woman is about
I made this cake recently. WOW! I kept going back for 1 more slice. It is absolutely delicious and moist. I used regular Greek yogurt for the icing. Still tasted heavenly.
I miss seeing u on the tele so now I have discovered u here and live the shows...u make cooking much easier and that we can do it...I pray ur family and urs;elf are well... bless u all! Thank u for the video.
oh! such an easy pleaser. Only Nigella can do this. I LOVE slaking corn flour. Why? It always does the job! Her mission: confidence in cooking. Ive learned so much from her.
The blooper reel for any nigella show must be a treasure to watch

My first time watching one of her videos and i found the whole affair lovely and cant wait to watch more. This cake looks delicious and I will be baking it soon!
this recipe is delicious! if you're trying to accomodate vegans or dairy free pals, this is a perfect recipe. i don't feel as if there's anything missing or lacking, which i sometimes do with vegan desserts. i've made it multiple times, and every time it was a massive hit with EVERYONE.
It's not too often that you see Nigella going totally vegan, especially with a rich dessert.
Nigella,, you look stunning, so happy and content while you do what you love 🇮🇪😘
Perfectly appraise for taste lemon 🍰🍋🍰,it's good.
I love everything about you and your kitchen 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

My grandfather who's 83 and had diabetes follows a strict No sugar diet but this is the only thing that he tasted in years that he wanted to have more of.
Her smile makes the difference
her: "i think it looks rather charming"
*me: "i think you're rather charming"* 😌
her: "some think it looks a lil 1970s, but i rather like that"
*me: "i rather like you"* 🙈
@Aishah A - This is the best comment on here - gave me a proper chuckle! Thanks for posting! 😂😂😂😂
@@emmaturnermusic aww, you're welcome! I'm glad it made you laugh (:
Aishah A - Anything that can make someone smile really helps, particularly during this uncertain and rather sad time at the moment! x
@@emmaturnermusic so true, stay safe & healthy, keep smiling! xo
Aishah A Thank you so much! Stay safe too! ❤️ One of my favourite quotes: “The most wasted day of all is that on which we have not laughed.” - Sébastien Chamfort
So beautiful nigella
I surely want to make this. Love most anything lemon!
Can anyone tell me what kind of icing she used on the cake
I have to say, I miss the days of donut French toast, caramel croissant pudding, and triple chocolate cake... having said that, this cake actually sounds pretty good... However I would have to use regular plain yogurt for the topping
Well, those recipes are still on her website and in her books and they are regularly dug up in her daily newsletter. So not much to miss - and in terms of flavours, or ingredients, or indulgences as we shall rather say in the case of recipes you are referring to, she evolves and so do the ways of cooking and eating. Not only culinary fashions change, her lifestyle changed as well, since she is not an always-in-a rush mum, which imo provides even more space for solitary indulgence in the kitchen. She created those easy, fail-proof recipes in the past, and even today with new culinary preferences of her audiences, she manages to both innovate and stay true to her style of no fuss cooking - and yet still simple, elegant and satisfying.
That looks delicious!
Why did we never get this series in the USA? I’m thrilled to find this.
I love you Nigella!
I will be trying this!
I’ve just made your cake and it’s so tasty 10/10
Adding corn flour to the blueberries was a great idea 💡 👍🏻
Beautiful 😍
Love the way you cook dear
The way she says blueberries!!
She is permanently ecstatic .
It really is the best cake however I change the topping to lemon curd. Amazing 🍋🍋🍋🍋
Call me crazy but, close your eyes at 0:56 and tell me that doesnt sound like a dog panting🤦🏾♂️😂
She so stunning..
She looks like the woman you have to marry..
Here in Canada, we call the cornSTARCH and water mix a SLURRY. I loved this video! Love Nigella! xx
I made this. It's delicious
My mom resembles nigella thats why i have much more affinity
Finally a Vegan Cake from Nigella .. Although I ain’t a Fan Of Coconut in Food I still wanna give t a Go .. And Sadly Coconut Yogurt is not available in my Country... only Coconut cream and Milk ...
Mubarakka Z hi i don't have yogurt as well. Did you make it?
kudos for the ^ in the tile :)
*tile? ;-)
Ironic, your comment.
Tbh I'm not here for the recipe. I'm here for the pleasure of watching her cook. Her eloquence really makes any show an experience.
Wish she said how to store the cake and what kind of coconut youghurt is she using. Also would be really helpful if she told us if we can use different fruit
Gooooood😄😄😄😄😄
J adore 💖💕💗
Tendercake? I'm in!
I think that's my favorite cake of her... so yummyyyyy
I really like your cakes.
yuuuummm 💗
I lost it when she said cômpote
Planing to make it for my vegan fd.
I hope I won't faint.
Jummy❤🎉🎉😅good🎉❤
It's like she makes love with her food! love it
Goddess

Is that 'I want to break free' playing in background
End song - Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out
0:23 she really means cocain e
I bet she hates using all those damn spoons!
Her hands have a built-in measurer, she can easily sprinke/splash the right amount every time. I wonder if it's a 'creative' decision, to make her cooking look more modern.
i know!! i miss the days when she'd laugh and make mistakes and work carelessly and she won't have to separately narrate ingredient measurements like every other chef
Would it work with cherries if blueberries are unavailable?
Yes. I baked it twice and used cherries first time and frozen berries mix another time. Very delicious.
Whats the name of the bgm playing until 1.48? Can anyone help pls? Thankyou!
Looks like a cake
Her entire demeanor really reminds me of Kate Bush
I dont have coconut milk are there any alternatives?
...whats with the break up music in the background??
TheJwje5 must be love on the brain
It's 'cry me out' by Pixie Lott
I can hear Last Request by Paulo Nutini.
Does anyone else notice too how much she looks like Maria Callas?
GREEN FIRE
Everyone..let me know What is the name of the beautiful music starting from 4:54 ???
No
Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out
@@andrypramanta2966 thank you very much..really appreciate it
why is she so fuckin charming?
🤤
Maybe it’s because I’m American, but I don’t understand why the finished product “looked a bit 1970’s”.....am I just a moron or is it some nifty British lingo that only y’all get? 😂😂😂
I guess cause old food magazines and recipe books styled things a different way back in the 70s. Idk, I didn’t live in the 70s, but she did.
but Miranda Priestly wanted tarts with warm rhubarb compote
Where did Nigella go 😢. I miss her shows. She's on that Ocado show I think which is such a letdown compared to this one.
