I've had a long line of family members in the military. My step-dad was a U.S. Army Sniper, my step-brother was in the reserves and had multiple tours in Iraq, he also had pretty much his entire family in the Army one time or another. My grandfather was a medic in WWII and my grandmother was a mechanic fixing planes. I've had a cousin in the Navy. And now its my turn to take up the family military legacy. When I look at what MrRageSpawn wrote it gives me more to work towards and fight for. Tnx.

its not just the marines, they do deserve a lot of respect for plowing the way into Baghdad, but all of the other armed forces, army, air force, navy, coast guard, all did their part and they all deserve respect.

Thanks for putting this up. I remember the first time I saw this I was in the movie theaters with my girlfriend at the time, and it was so awesome to see it. I was already contracted, but I felt glad that finaly a recruiting commercial got it right. This is why we volunteered. Great commerical! I think the ironic thing is that it is for the National Guard of all things. US Army

Everyone was grateful we were working 24/7 fighting the 1998 ice storm. Alot of the same people were the seperatists who thought there should not be canadian soldiers in quebec. It's life, when in need we are there, when our citizens feel safe we are ready to respond whether domestic or internationally. (we've been offensive in Afghanistantan since dec 2001

I'm a Medic in the Army, anyone that reads this... don't worry about standing up for us for people that come on youtube posting disrespectful posts. We know most of you are proud, and we know some of you aren't. Part of being an american is being free, that includes freedom of speech. It's not as if we are excited to go to war, or that we have to be at war. Just know, as long as we have to... we will fight for you, wheather you love us or hate us... I'm proud to be an American!

I am against war completely, but watching these videos..it makes me terribly sad knowing these soldiers are witnessing tragic events. I know that without war we wouldn't have freedom, but all those families..losing their children, mothers or fathers..it's too heart-breaking and tragic for me to be able to watch this video and not keep a straight face. Please, let all the soldiers risking their lives come back home safely.

I hope to begin in the Air Force ROTC program next year. Currently I'm enrolled as a pilot at my college so I'm praying that is one step closer to becoming and officer. Right on. I have two cousins in the military, and a number of friends. I would have been a doctor in the military, and I interviewed at Bethesda, passed the security clearance, went through all I had to do, was even ready to do training, and made preparations to give service to my nation, but I was 4-F'ed because of a back injury. I respect the decision of the General in question.
