Your warmth is like a female Bob Ross that paints with wool 😍 thank you!!
That warms my heart more than I can say! He is in my list of role models for "life" and "service" through my art. Thank you so very much. ~ Marie
This is sooo amazing, just ordered some felt pens and some supplies that are not sold locally for me, I can not wait to learn to do this! Thank you so much for the detailed instructions, I just fell into the rabbit hole of felting!
My kit has arrived and I have been having lots of fun felting along with you all after watching it through when you first posted this one - I would also love to do a combined wet felt and needle felt picture if you do a tutorial this year. Thanks again for sharing your talent ❤️
I haven’t tried 2D yet but it looks awesome
Thank you, this is lovely and another great tutorial 💕
Thank you so kindly, Chris! :)
Haven't tried this yet but I'm wanting to!
Most excellent tutorial!
So glad to hear it, Susan! I hope you have fun with it :) We are LOVING seeing the robins felted by our friends in our group!
Yes! Wet felting with needle felting over top! Please do! I'll keep an eye out for it.
We will make an announcement...definitely subscribe, but if you follow us on facebook or get our newsletter, that helps also :)
Brilliant Thankyou
Just love that you are teaching 2D! I would really like to see a 2D painting with long haired animals, as this is where I have problems!
Use the drafting technique on longer fur like we did on the chest and remember to vary your color values. You can do it!
You are so talented. Great tutorial 👍
You are very generous, thank you ♡ very much.
This was great! My husband is starting to make bluebird houses, so I was interested in watching this.....haven't done much needle felting, but this is inspiring. Marie and crew.....you girls rock and your generosity is the best ever. Thank you a million times for being so giving with your teaching!!!
Awe, you are so sweet, Patrice :) Thank you for this very kind note. If you decide to adventure into 2D needle felting...we know it will be brilliant!
Hello lovely ladies! Marie you mentioned wet felting a background and possibly needle felting a landscape on in a future video, please please could I ask if you could do some of this as it's my favourite kind of felting!! I'm been trawling all over the internet searching for landscape pictures with felt but struggling to find anything new and inspiring..I would love to see you do more of this as your channel is THE BEST!!! I've learnt so much from you, and you inspire me so much.. much love to you all! God bless xx
Love it. 😍
So talented!! I just came across this felting thing on yourube this weekend, and wanting to try me a project. Id love to try one of the doll chaacters. You guys are so flippin talented!! This is brilliant!!!! Thanks for sharing. :)
You are so kind, thank you for your feedback and we hope you enjoy felting!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I’ve been wanting to attempt two dimensional needle felting and this video has given me the courage to try it!!!
Ps..I absolutely LOVE your rings and bracelet!!! They’re gorgeous!
Thank you for your lovely feedback, Doreen! We know you will have lots of fun making your own felted pictures! Hope you will visit and share in our group www.fb.com/groups/livingfeltfriends Lots of people have been giving it a go and having a great time :)
Really fun
Oh how sweet love it
Thank you, Jeanne!
You made me feel like I could attempt this.
So glad to hear it, Yvonne! You definitely can!
Thank you!!
Our pleasure, Deborah!
I’m loving your teaching. I have the kit and am starting it. I would love to do a landscape, too.
That is awesome, Kathy. We look forward to seeing your pieces :)
Thank you for your encouragement. Every time I have a question, I find help and I appreciate all of you!
That is so wonderful to hear, Kathy! We really love working with all of you... you... our BFFs are the "reason" we do this, we love you all.
Thank you. I will try to make it for my friend
Sweet! We look forward to seeing it :)
If I was to wet-felt a background, will the ink from a transfer pen transfer over to that?
I'd like the whole picture ironed on the fabric to have full scenery. Please let me know how.🤗
What size felting needle are you uses?
I'm watching but having problems buying certain tools to felt with do u have a store. Love these tutorials I don't do social media

Where can I get the sheep you have on the wall behind you? What a great place for wool display!
Thankk you, Deborah. We made it. 🐑 it is a bit precariously perched :) it has taken a tumble a time or two. We should probably work on the design 😅
After making stained glass for 18 years, I am going to attempt to make the Fox kit that I ordered from you. I've been watching your videos and really appreciate it. Might be a dumb question but do you hold the needle at a slight angle? I am so nervous to start! I know you make it look easier than it probably is!
You will have lots of fun!! And it really is easy! :) I tend to vary the angle...and mention this in the robin video. If you are shy to start .. needle felt a small heart or flowe on the corner if your felt...you will see :). I bet you take right to it!
I did hear you mention it in the video after I posted. Sorry! I'm 68 1/2 and don't know computers that well. I did start on the fox after supper. I only got the eyes and nose done and not sure I like the eyes but I'm going to keep going! THANK YOU so much for your videos. I learned stained glass by taking classes and am more of a hands on person for learning. Also, I agree with Donna....I would love to see long haired dogs. Linda Wegner made my 3 collie girls and those are what sparked me to try needle felting.
@@MsNorthshore It is my pleasure and no worries. We will look at scheduling longer fur later in the year. It is great you have some art by Linda, she us talented and it is wonderful you were inspired to try felting 🤗
