I’ve been to HK so many times and whenever I crave for rice (I’m Filipino and rice is a staple in every meal) I always go to Cafe de Coral. Their meals are really affordable and very tasty. Portion is quite generous too! As for dimsum, Dimdimsum in Jordan is a must! Affordable but so, so good. Their crispy rice flour rolls with shrimp is my fave. Dessert - I agree that Hanjuku Kobo is one place you guys must visit. I don’t go there for their cheese tarts but for the cheesecake. They are so light, you’re like eating a pillow/cloud. They are insanely good too. I bit pricey but worth it - box of 5 costs HKD 80. If you are staying or going to stay in TST (Tsim Sha Tsui), there is this street called Hau Fook street (near Granville Rd) where there are tons of restos you can choose from. From claypot rice to sushi to street food - everything’s there. My personal go-to is Hung Lee Restaurant. I always order the Beef Brisket/Tendon Noodles. They also have the typical HK breakfast - macaroni noodle soup with luncheon meat.
Kinda glad there's english for the menus, I can speak cantonese on a fluent level thanks to Stephen Chow and Jacky Chan movies lmao, but I can't read or write, even at a elementry level hahaha
Lol 😁 how did you stay so slim and beautiful eating all that starch and sweet stuff?!? Must say, the steamed milk desert is also one of my favourite. Been a while since I was last there but as I'm going back next week you have given me all my favourite munches locations. Thank you!
@Doris - she's recommending Cafe De Coral to foreigners who haven't been to HK before. It makes sense b/c De Coral is like the McDonald of HK. There are many locations and the food is ok.
Amazing, i saw the view of downtown Toronto from the video which on the home page. The building you live is really close to me. really like your channel, especially the things about HK
I guess eating out is the thing in HK, surprisingly the prices seem same as here in Vancouver..regardless i am looking forward to them! Thank you for sharing!
Somehow I can't access openrice right now, but there are two - actually plenty, but just two I'd like to pick - restaurants in Tin Hau (right next to Cwb). Sister Wah makes my favourite noodle soup (especially with their beef brisket) and then there is Aunty's Sweet or so for dessert. Again, plenty of other stuff around there and right next to the MTR. Just really like the vibe there, since it is a bit more hidden to the eye or basically just those who don't go further then Cwb :D
Hi DeliaWears, new subbie here. First off, we love your vids. Very helpful and easy to watch. ;) We learned a lot and it is truly helpful. ;) Thhis vid in particular is very nice -- it has also made us hungry. ;)
Very good video. You present and speak really well. I love EGG tarts. Could eat loads of them all day long if I had to :-) Do you live in HK permanently or are you just visiting?
Great info. I heading to HK in 3 months and the places you mentioned look awesome. At cafe de coral are there English menus to order from. Is it table service?
Hi.. we're having a lay over trip in hongkong on October for 22 hours, whats your best suggestion to eat and palce to go to while waiting for our flight.. thank u
Verg nice vlog ., but please make it more specific for the location and nearby MTR because I am really taking down notes every places you’ve mention but not all, neet to google where it was exeactly located.
haha, Australia Dairy Company. That's nearly the right ingredients but very Hong Kong presentation. Visiting soon but don't think I'll be heading there for a taste of home.
I honestly just want to keep going back to Hong Kong to spend all my money on food. I fell in love with the french toasts and pineapple buns... ugggghhh I can't evennnnnnn!!!
Sorry I'm a bit confuse about the noodle shop in Mongkok. What were the name of the streets and the exit from Mongkok MTR? There's no written caption there. Thx
Hi, the link for the 18$ noodle is different than the video explanation. The openrice link is at Shanghai street (exit C4 Mongkok st), while in your video you says exit D2. Totally different direction. Can you verify, which one is the right one?
I was looking at the google map at that's right , this is a different place. Will be good to know the street name like Tung Choi St or Fa Yuen St before Fife St or further up?
hi delia, planning to visit hongkong this August. can you recommend a best spot for accomodation (preferably near mtr and near budget friendly street foods/restaurants). i am currently looking at airbnb.com. pls help :(
Depends how long you plan to stay and also what you want to do there. Have a look at the MTR map and see what might be a more central location for your plans www.mtr.com.hk/en/customer/services/system_map.html. Usually I stay with family too but I have also stayed in hotels in North Point (right on the street where there is a wet market), and Wan Chai (really close to the station and also convenient location to go to Kowloon side too. Hope that helps!
Hindradjid Harsono search on google halal food in hong kong, banyak tempat yg recommended disana untuh canton cuisine. Kalau masakan indonesia ya cukup ke warung indonesia, banyak banget di sana warung indonesia 😊
Kristian Hardjasaputra , at the of the video you can see them eat at Soy st. and Fa Yuen st. junction. I was able to find it thanks to the 7-eleven and Google Street View. :)

Actually Fairwood is the best among the three other fast food shops.
Do any of the resteraunts in your clip have English menus? They all look like they have super delish food but I am worried I wont know how to order.
Welcome. Most of the menus in Hong Kong's restaurants are bilingual. You may feel free to ask for help.
Fairwood is so good!
do you also know that dim sum is at half price if you pay before 11.30am ? because they wanna rush everybody out for a quick lunch turnover.
Where is that?
Hi, the link for the 18$ noodle is different than the video explanation. The openrice link is at Shanghai street (exit C4 Mongkok st), while in your video you says exit D2. Totally different direction. Can you verify, which one is the right one?
