Just picked this up because it was on sale and I've been playing it non stop since. Turned off the hud and it's the most immersed I've felt in a game in a long time. Great game and very underrated in my opinion. Best Far Cry game to date.

I don't think they're idiots, more like they've got the wrong impression. Far Cry Primal isn't Far Cry 5, its not a proper, full-blown instalment into the franchise and it isn't the direction Far Cry is going in.

Seems to be a bit of negativity towards this game because it's not what people were expecting. The Far Cry games are amazing because of that survival aspect, and I think they can really tap into that here. Give it a few weeks, people will warm up to it.

When I saw this Trailer my first reaction was "Please don't just be DLC. Please don't just be DLC. Please don't just be DLC" then I looked it up and I’m still not sure if it is going to be a full proper game or a short one sold for half price with a recycled map. Anyway if it isn’t then I’m very excited about this game and I'm so bloody glad that it looks like we will get to be the leader of our own tribe. Because there is something very anti climatic about the ending of games like the last Far Cry and Mad Max where instead of taking over territory you're just kind of helping someone else take over territory which means you never really get to appreciate it. I mean you go to hell and back and then the NPCs are kind of like: "Thanks man... Like whatever. Now piss off." And I love the fact that it is not just another basic modern day setting or mediaeval which we have seen quite a bit of as well. Even though I enjoyed the last Far Cry I do remember saying to myself: “If only these guys would do something different next time. Something that was just a little bit more eccentric like post apocalyptic perhaps.” Now before anyone points out that post apocalyptic isn't an original idea I would point out that there are so many different ways to approach post apocalyptic. I'm mean so many variations. Look at Waterworld for example. Anyway this whole Stone Age thing and getting to be the leader for a change was a really excellent idea.

Just finished playing Far Cry Primal minutes ago, after playing it for nearly two years! I love it; it's one of my favourite games of all time!

I dont particulary like Ubisoft. But why people are complaining. When was the last time we had a game in this era? The old caveman games on NES? At least they try something different. Yeah, all those people who are crying that this is not Far Cry are dumb and idiot. Far Cry is all about survival of protagonist and Stone Age represents the most dangerous period and the phase when humanity evolved itself to become smarter. In fact, when UbiSoft surveyed for location of Far Cry 4, Stone Age era is the most voted one. Now, these people are criticising it. Hats off to UbiSoft for making this amazing game with amazing innovation.

I mean, I've been playing the Star Wars Battlefront beta and it's fucking awesome, so I was just thinking if they had an open world version where you could choose either Jedi or sith and either hunt down Jedi as a bounty hunter or vice versa. And just the idea of taking down a rebel base or storm trooper base as an outpost seems awesome to me. Instead of just shooting the driver to high jack his cargo truck you'd have to fly an x wing inside the cargo ship and then fight your way to the controls and high jack it that way. There's a lot of cool stuff you could go.

Uh this game is propaganda. Man was never "primitive" man was advanced from the day Adam and Eve were created on the spot preprogrammed by God. The age of the earth lie and the evolution of man has always been a theme in all Farcry games or to make religion look bad and have some crazy Christian fanatic the bad guy. Scientists are always like saying they dont know how these ancient civilizations sprung up outta the ground and build such advanced cities like the first Chinese dynasty. They want you to think ancient aliens came and gave man knowledge but it was really fallen angels.
In FC4 I've never used the sleeping function, but in Primal, oh boy, when night comes, you know you need to stay home! 😅

When I saw this Trailer my first reaction was "Please don't just be DLC. Please don't just be DLC. Please don't just be DLC" then I looked it up and I’m still not sure if it is going to be a full proper game or a short one sold for half price with a recycled map.
Anyway if it isn’t then I’m very excited about this game and I'm so bloody glad that it looks like we will get to be the leader of our own tribe. Because there is something very anti climatic about the ending of games like the last Far Cry and Mad Max where instead of taking over territory you're just kind of helping someone else take over territory which means you never really get to appreciate it. I mean you go to hell and back and then the NPCs are kind of like: "Thanks man... Like whatever. Now piss off."
And I love the fact that it is not just another basic modern day setting or mediaeval which we have seen quite a bit of as well. Even though I enjoyed the last Far Cry I do remember saying to myself: “If only these guys would do something different next time. Something that was just a little bit more eccentric like post apocalyptic perhaps.” Now before anyone points out that post apocalyptic isn't an original idea I would point out that there are so many different ways to approach post apocalyptic. I'm mean so many variations. Look at Waterworld for example. Anyway this whole Stone Age thing and getting to be the leader for a change was a really excellent idea.
