This is interesting - I have always thought that you could only ride the chocobos when you had reached disc 4, and this made the chocobos in this game seem very elusive and mysterious. It is nice to see that you can ride them much earlier than that - this makes much more sense.
This was also a great help to me.. I originally owned this game when it was released. But unfortunately, I never got to complete all the side quests or get all the rare cards. No thanks to letting someone borrow the game and never got it back, lol. So, after some long years, I finally bought it back, and now I am completing what I couldn't all those years ago. 😂
I completed this side quest in almost One hour, thanks 2 this guide. It's really Easy. The hardest part, Is when u have to find the Lost Lost chocobo wood. When u have 2 travel beside the Sea, with chocobo, for searchin' the mini wood, and come back, because u can easely been Lost. Sorry 4 ma bad English. I'm Italian
Ive always able to do this sidequest on every playthrough. But on my current one, i cant make those 6 mother chocobos appear. Ive done every forest puzzle, caught all 6 chocobos..i get to the grandidi forest and there's still that lone chocobo standing there. WTF ?!?. Wait...i didn't get the items, I do remember getting items previous times, how do i get those items thou...oh.....like that. So...you gotta get the item from each fucking forest, to complete it.....so i gotta do all 6 forests again.....i forgot the fucking item thing!.

I don't understand how you loot the treasure?
Same way you call down a chocobo. Once the big Chocobo is on the screen use the sonar to find the treasure
This is fucking strange, on ps1 and ps4 version, the sencer bar will no go up anywhere i walk in the 4th forest
