Holy smokes thats a haul! I am totally the oppsite, I am a Marvel 1st. Growing up I rarely read DC, as I grow up and more friends I have that are DC i have mellowed out a bit. Expanding my taste into dc where in my collection I would say that its 50% marvel, 45% DC, and 15% Indy. I have to say the most proud book that I got was Volume 4 of Amazing Spider-man. I also made the jump into Invincible with the soft Compendium... started to upgrade to the hard cover compendiums but after the 1st volume I decided if your going to upgrade then upgrade. I am collecting that in the library editions. However the most regret that might come out this year is not getting the Hellboy Monster edition. Sadly didn't have the room in the budget to get it and I am worried how the binding is going to hold up.

@@TBATB I went the Omnibus route, they're beautiful books, and it'll be awesome to have all the Sandman Universe Classics in the same format together on the same shelf!

Now that's a super sick and nice haul. The Justice League Omni is on my list as well but I honestly don't know I'm ever supposed to read that one since it's so massive Omnis with 1,1k are already tricky to read comfortably 😄 but I do love these thick books.
The Lucifer Omnis are amazing I'm right now reading them and almost done with the first Omni. Really great stories and art is also great and fitting to each story or type. Same goes for the Dead Boy Detectives Omnibus it was so much fun and I wish there were more stories. I'm missing the 3 Books of Magic Omnis which I'll get then I've everything from the Sandman Universe both classic and new (which I can also highly recommend)
Lazarus is one of my favorite series period I would only wish that Rucka would write it a little faster since it's far from being finished same as Black Magick.

I just ordered Geoff Jonhs Green Lantern 1-2 omnibus, what is this brightest day omnibus?
It’s a separate event that takes place after blackest night and it’s not collected in the john Omnis!
Parker is actually based off the Richard Stark. Each volume has two books. Starks' Wife (His pen name) gave Burbarker the green light to write the character. Cooke used dialoge from the novels, so only Burbarker only other auther to work on this character. Also, get out of here with "I like small books."

I think what took me so long was that I knew if I was going to get them I was going to get all three at the same time. So that’s why it was harder to pull the trigger on them.
Does the John's flash run pick up after volume 1?
Yes by a lot. The early stuff is my least favorite but it’s almost as good as Waids once it gets cooking

#hellboy My recent omnibus pickup was Uncanny X-Men Vol 1. I'm also a DC guy, but I also love Marvel. And I've always wanted to get into X-Men, even with the overwhelming amount of content and omnis.
I tried to collect Xmen but couldn’t keep up. Sold them off and committed to Wolverine haha

books of magic predates harry potter and I think gaiman could have gone a bit legal with it if he wanted.
Incal's origin is with Jodorowsky attempting to make Dune. Interestingly now dune is out, Incal is getting a movie (hence the new releases)
Lazarus is amazing...i had first and third volumes and finally after years was able to get the second.
