That’s so strange I feel the opposite, loved the first two books, then dnf’d halfway through the third one cause I kept getting bored and didn’t like the plotlines anymore 😅 must just be bc fantasy isn’t really my genre
@@kingtoph86honestly I think that’s still pretty early on, imo it gets more “mature” with a better plot around the 4th and 5th books but more so in the Heroes of Olympus series

Hi Haley! The Brothers Hawthorne can be read separately / as a standalone, but it's been recommended to read the trilogy first (which you have!)

I just wanted you to know "The Blonde Identity" is kind of a parody, a pun of "The Bourne Identity" series. they turn the books into movies that star Matt Denim. anyway, The Bourne Identity is a 1980 spy fiction thriller by Robert Ludlum that tells the story of Jason Bourne, a man with remarkable survival abilities who has retrograde amnesia and must seek to discover his true identity. In Zürich, Switzerland, the protagonist learns that his name is Jason Bourne. While attempting to retrace his steps on his previous visit to the city he attracts the attention of several people who either fear him, warn him of danger, or try to kill him-but they all unhelpfully assume that he already knows why. I think that The Blonde Identity is a cool plot and you should read it.
The Blonde Identity is probably based on The Bourne Identity which follows pretty much the same trope tho its a spy/action movie - if you like the book you should definitely Watch the movie 🤗

I absolutely lovedddd Say You Swear!!! Yes, it's a sports romance with friends to lovers but there is a specific plotline that will literally make you BAWL YOUR EYES OUT! It's one of the best romance books I've ever read

The Brothers Hawthorne is sooo good so far i’m nearly done, it’s so fast paced and i’ve been on the edge of my seat the whole time i’ve been reading it, i wouldn’t recommend at all to read it on its own because the trilogy is incredible and you won’t understand anything happening lol

I just started Assistant to the Villain yesterday and I’m about 2/3 of the way through it now. It’s so good! It’s really fun and the main character is so sassy. I love her! And I really like the villain too. He’s a really interesting character and it’s fun slowly learning more about him.

i read 'hello girls' a couple of days ago (i'm going through emily henry's backlist), and it was so entertaining! you can tell emily henry and brittany cavallaro had a blast writing together.
also, i pictured destiny as lucille the ENTIRE time i was reading the book, it was amazing.
I am reading Iron Gold right now and its taking me longer to get through than the other three, and not just because of the thickness, but its a little different. I am enjoying it still but hoping it picks up soon D:
I’m 70% in iron gold and there are a lot of new characters and perspectives. It took me about 60 pages to get into the rhythm and wrap my mind around the story unfolding, but it’s really good.
I can’t put the book down now! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it!

Highly recommend any brandon sanderson books! "Elantris" is a good place to start, but "The Way of Kings" is AMAZING. He's very good at world building. Also "The Rithmatist"!
"What if I really enjoy it, and I just don't know yet". Honestly such a great perspective to have. I just started reading books for fun last month, and started with A Court of Thornes and Roses, and I have read that entire series. And it all started off by me wanting to enjoy reading, and that message of, I have no idea if I enjoy fantasy books, but what if I do, and I just don't know yet. Im happy to try because I absolutely loved the series and I just picked up her Crescent City books. Don't loose that spark of curiosity when it comes to your joy!
