I tried this blend out because one of my grandfathers smoked it and I instantly liked it as well. Just a straight forward and simple tobacco that delivers on flavor and burns great like you talk about in the review. I find myself gravitating towards the simpler blends that have been around awhile more and more because they offer a great no fuss smoke and are easily found.
@@aromatix5741 Unfortunately my grandfather who smoked the pipe passed away before I was born, but my dad got his pipes and I smoke with him every once in a while, but he didn't smoke much until I became interested in it through my wife. So I definitely count myself lucky to have a wife that enjoys pipes and cigars, and occasionally my dad LOL!
Hey Paladin, Yep its quite tasty and now I'm looking forward to smoking it more. There has been mixed feelings about Carter Hall since the change but I would like to try it sometime.
I love Prince Albert. That was my first smoke and in my top 5. The issue is I think I may have some type of allergic reaction to the surfactants. I puff away with no problem up to 10 bowls of PA a day with no issue. Then when I brush my teeth or drink something and I’m screaming like the boy on home alone. And it lasts for days. Same with Carter hall, excellent all day smoke. And I smoke high dollar shit. I love the grandpa tobaccos but they chew up my mouth when I least expect it
It's been a long time since I've had Prince Albert, but I always liked most of the old codger blends. Out of all of them, I think I like Half and Half the most. I believe there is a slight anise flavoring added. I don't care much for licorice candy, but the flavor, in small amounts, works well with Va/Burs.

I have a hard time smoking anything with a topping on it. Maybe its due to the bite or the one dimentional flavour, but I love my bijou (idk if you would call that a topping or not).

It's pretty unique, it's overall not the fastest bike on the road but the fact it's a v4 that is pretty low revving but makes most power at the redline means it revs out quick giving you a rush of acceleration. Also the vboost that kicks in allowing 2 carbs per cylinder at 6000 rpm gives it a turbo type kick.

I must have been nice having a relative that smoked a pipe. My family growing up were not much for smoking .

PA is the bomb. IDK if you can even get it anymore (original). MacBaren Mixture Scottish is a really good alternative.
