Serving The Chief was the greatest blessing and hearing of his transition leaves a hole in my heart. Thank you Nani, for the beautiful tribute. Mahalo nui loa.
I went to Lahainaluna School with and had a classmate by the name of Kalapana. He was a border, handsome buggah, very humble, nice quiet Kanaka. Easy going, well liked with a smile that lights up a dark room. Looks all over his dad. Give him blessings. So sorry for your loss Keli'iho'omalu Ohana
Aloha Ohana, I was beyond blessed to meet Unko, this was back I high school, the year was 1992. My father Wayne Kahula made the move from Hana Maui to Big island, it was there with my father we spent new years with the Kealiihoomalu Ohana. I felt so at home! No like leave! I knew of Kalapana, and Prince because they used to come Hana before stay with the Ohana. He had a beautiful personality, and could not believe how big his hands was when I shook his hand! 😂😂 Kalapana is Gods country! With beautiful people and huge puuwai! I thank God for the privilege to meet him. Aloha and God bless to the Ohana! Aloha❤
Mahalo for this beautiful tribute. Uncle Robert is the epitomy of aloha and his legacy is in the people he touched. Even now with this message, his aloha comes through.
Seeing all this A'loha for Uncle Robert brings tears to my eyes with a heavy heart. I grew up on that side on the Big Island of Hawai'i, I was raise in Tennessee. Playing down there in Kalapana singing and playing my guitar, A'loha Uncle Robert. We all will see you again. God speed. Shot, the Lord Will look upon him with favor. peace. Floyd.
My unko' Bobby Na'auao, had a motorcycle club named "Keli'iho'omalu" Anyway, I told my unko', how did you come up with that Hawaiian name, and he said, I was so intrigue by this distinguished Hawaiian man from Kalapana' Big Island and his name is Robert Keli'iho'omalu, and this man carries Aloha 24/7 with him, and das' Y I took his last name and named it for my club. Then, I was telling my unko' Bobby, I know his son, Me'o and his mom G-girl comea from Hana, Maui, da' 'Ohana is da' Tolentino/Kalalau! Honestly, I wish I had the opportunity to have met Mr. Robert Keli'iho'omalu myself! Mahalo for sharing, and Ohhh,...dis' video made me kuluwai maka too! LOL!
