Once my sister was down at the Hilo farmers market and she ended up talking story with a senior fellow. This man remembered Hilo in the old days, when that farmers market was covered with sand and everyone used Horse and buggies! They had catchment water in Hilo then, and the people working in the cane fields would have to take a bath sharing the bath with the whole family. People rode on horses then!
Thank you for doing this, I want more!!
