What is the blue stuff he sprayed on the pads?
What rotor brand are these?
Did he not bleed the fluid while pressing the piston?
Not necessary.
Are you happy with the Duralast Gold rotors? What pads?
I know this is old and he didn't reply. I haven't ran them on the 4Runner, but I have on other vehicles and they've always done great
Used them on an Expedition and they were fine. Would buy again. I used Duralast Elite pads, also good. Follow the break in procedure.
5:05 brake lube on a caliber bracket bolt, thats dangerous? WTF. those require loctite if anything.
I was hoping he would talk about the E-brake adjustment. Great vid otherwise
and left caliper hanging by brake line..( this is special mechanic...)
So, you did not clean hub before putting new rotor, go to hell with this kind of job....
i am no pro but taking a few minutes to clean that and maybe put a little anti-seize on seems like a good idea
