Arthur's sincerity is probably what makes the character so good. Like Sadie says, he has a tendency to point out the obvious. Most people need a good minute to think of something, so that they know for sure it's worth saying to someone. It's hard to do even for natural orators.
Comparatively, it's very easy to think of insults or ways to argue with people nomatter how insignificant or un-contextual it may be.

I gotta disagree with you on rdr2. Rockstar gives you basically no freedom to choose how you want to play the story. Many missions will fail if you don't do the mission exactly as the game tells you. It's a great open world game, but in no way do I agree that it gives you freedom in the story.

    • @thehuntressdanni2972

@@HarryKnuttsachs That’s because you’re playing ARTHURS story. You’re living the experience of a book with visuals and audio. You get to be the main character of an actual story. This isn’t just a game. This is story telling that transcends all media forms That came before it. This is a better way to tell stories than books, movies or music combined. Plus, you get a game on top of it all ANNNND you can go sit around a campfire in the middle of the forest at night with your real life friends, listening to the wolves howl and the loons call even though you’re all in separate real life locations. And you can learn history on top of it all.

As Arther I really liked Dutch and really felt like part of the gang. Before dutch started going nutts i really felt like micha was a rat as the story progressed i realized ofc he was. They did such a good job writng the story i felt betrayed myself. Its crazy how micha got in dutches head like that. Anyway it felt great as John on the mountain finnally able to blow holes in him 😅 i had tried to blow him up a lot before the end scene. They took the amount of time to unlock dialogue lines on random npcs your not supposed to shoot in the story mode anyway - but details - omg - details - everyone who had anything to do with this game deserves a raise.
