The ABS icon lights up on my Toyota Fortuner 2019 for more than a year already. I dont notice any of this issues anyway, braking and speed is mostly fine. So I just let it be till I have work and money already to have it checked. Thankfully really, no major issue appears even if it lighted up. I am just assuming it could be a lose plugged bolt, fuse or something, hehe.
If the ABS light is on and you don't seem to experience any of the symptoms or issues then it is probably nothing major. Possible common cause is a dirty ABS sensor or slightly misaligned ABS sensor sometimes. Hope this helps. Thank you.
