My wife has an LCR with the CT grips. What we have worked out for her is that the way to deal with the recoil is to 1. never practice with anything other than target loads, and 2. Use a very high grip. A grip that is actually somewhat awkward when trying to use the sights. Save the +P stuff for actual carry. It's a short range defensive revolver for concealed carry. In the event the laser does not function you are going to front sight/point shoot it anyway. So don't try to treat it like a target pistol, that's asking too much from the platform. Personally it's still not for me because no matter how I hold it the trigger guard still bangs my middle finger.

I agree it’s definitely not a target pistol. It’s for up close self defense. With that said the stock front sight was black, no white or red insert for contrast. I tried using paint on the front sight, it helped but didn’t last long. So I installed the Hi Viz fiber optic front sight. Much better.
Ruger could improve this with a modified trigger guard that is undercut to get a better grip.
      Thanks for commenting

true but I want to be able to see the sights and use them.
Have you ever seen or heard of Bob Munden? The guy was a legend with a snub nose revolver and long distance shots.
I wish I could shoot as well as he could.

New update to my broken Crimson Trace laser grip. Although the website shows limited lifetime warranty, ELECTRONIC PARTS ARE ONLY WARRANTIED BY 3 yrs FROM DATE OF MANUFACTURE.
Electronic Components warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of manufacture.
Since they don’t make the stubby lasergrip any longer. I was offered 50% off the MSRP of the new (slightly larger) grip.
With 1/2 off MSRP I’m not sure if I should be insulted or consider a new laser grip for $150 is a good deal?
I like the new Hogue grip and don’t want to change it.
