@@LockedOnCollegeFootball Call it what it is then - a hostile takeover. Whatever sympathy and goodwill they had after being left behind, well, that's all lost as they turned into the same villains they decried.
Im saying this as an upset MWC fan, but i hope OSU and WSU get invites to another conference and take it and leave these other schools with egg on their face for having made the move.
At least in terms of SDSU, Boise State an Fresno State the moves are self inflicted by the MWC over the last 5--8 years. Kinda hard to blame the teams when it was the MWC who tried to renag on existing contracts.
The CUSA/MWC merger will soon happen
As a Beaver, I don't want the ACC. If the Big12 wanted O State I'd say ok.
Uncivil War, it wouldn't be the first time the Holes championship dreams die in Corvallis.
As a Coug, I think all these analysts overestimate WSU's and OSU's desire to join the Big 12 and ACC. I agree, for the last year they probably wanted a Big 12 invite just to make things easier for both them and the MW. But they make it sound like WSU/OSU are at doorsteps begging. Yes, it is business, but I don't think they understand the nature of being a Coug or Beaver...we have always been underestimated and are more than willing to blaze our own new trails.
@@steveokahn7249Anyway you look at it, the prospect of a long term loss of revenue and relegation to a lower subdivision is an existential crisis. There was no alternative to doing everything humanly possible to get into a P4 conference. It’s the undeniable reality of the situation that had to be faced head-on by both universities.
lol, your cope is hilarious.
@steveokahn7249 You don't want into the Big 12 and the Big 12 doesn't want, that's great news!
@@CatsClaw44 Reading comprehension, not your strong point.
The ACC will pick up the stragglers to stay alive. The G5 is done. If were an AD at a G5 school I would be having a panic attack and calling the PAC12. 2nd to last opportunity to get in. When the ACC gets clobbered by exits that will be the last opportunity. There won't be enough market share left in the G5 after that to survive. If the Pac takes the top 8-10 and then the acc takes a handful more then what is left? What is left is the future powerhouses of the FCS.
The ACC has already backfilled with CAL+2.
A big12 school went to Pullman last week and got a pants down spanking, WSU has beaten the best team in the big 12 (Utah) a number of times make a couple key additions and the pac-12 is better than the ACC and big12

The Big 12 is never taking these crayon eaters.
Why so salty about it?
That’s fine. The Big 12 isn’t great by any stretch.
The hell is wrong with you
Cougars chase young beaver
Go Huskies!!!
I add AFA, UNLV, UNT, UTSA. If they want to go for 12 I add Tulane and Tulsa. I think Memphis is too far based on the TV they will get.
I like these suggestions, but not sure they would add AFA... nor whether AFA bolts firnthe AAC after this?
UNLV obviois, but they won't take Nevada. Memphis and/or Tulane probably top the list.
SMH....what kind of duck fan are you 🤪
Roman you are talking too fast. It hurts your position. Slow down! You sound like a desperate underdog trying to make your point. The Big boys are deliberate, relaxed, and they pause. Are you talking football or having an argument with your partner? Slow down man.
Start by eliminating unnecessary words. Don't repeat the question just answer it.

Do that
This is totally irrelevant right now.
Irrelevant? Just like SEC out of Conference "Away" Games?
