yes but i don't think that it would happen so soon, maybe german economy could get back to it's feets and no one would come to power, or maybe not someone with ideas so estremist or so ultranationalist
@@Grimhydra-tl1iq i didnt mean it as in that someone with as extreme vision as hitler would come to power but the matter of the fact is the german people wanted change and the weak weimar goverment wasnt going to give it so likely someone with like more modest ambitions would come to power
The war actually should have ended in 1939 when Britain and France declared war on Germany but were too afraid to attack it while it was preoccupied with Poland. So pathetic!
@@somerandom2637 What a pity you werent a french marshall in september 1939. You would probably storm right through the Siegfried line and 20 wehrmaht divisions.( + luftwaffe ) French army had smaller forces there than germans. Just a funfact
@wetekin690 No the government straight up did not want to go on the offebsive, not because they were too weak. There was a very pervasive sense of fear and anxiety in the French military command and in the French Legislature in 1939 and 1940. Although they did declare war on Germany (several hours after the UK, and only after the Foreign Minister Bonnet spent several days desperately hoping for Munich Pt II) and they did spend around time in the Saarland in September 1939, the entire command structure had this dread of taking offensive action that they thought would lead to World War I, Part II. France had a serious demographic gap at that point in time, hitting the so-called "hollow years" with seriously insufficient numbers of young men who should have been reaching draftable ages in their late teens and early twenties. The government was extremely hesitant to go on the offensive, because they already saw France after WWI as a land of widows and orphans. It was very easy in this period for defense-oriented military tactics to be held up high, because they didn't frighten either the old pacifists on the left or the new pacifists on the right. They were able to argue (and it was later argued very interestingly by Pétain in summer 1940, who claimed that it had been fulfilled) that their treaty obligation to Poland did not require going on the offensive in Germany, but in preparing for the future German attack, which, they hoped, they would be able to fight off. Didn't quite work that way, but that was a major part of the idea -- the very real fear among the military and political cadres that war would just destroy the population. The saar offensive showed that the French could at least advance a little and relieve poland, not saying that the French needed to take the whole germany TL;DR France was just too scared from ww1. They probably wouldn't have taken the whole germany like others said, but considerable gains could've been made
I think your borders are a little bit too insane for some endings. Like the Early Axis Victory for example, Germany would have returned Northern France to the French State after the war along with its empire.
A couple of alternate endings: Italian ending: Germany and Japan are defeated but due to Italy's success, the allies negotiate a peace and allow Italy to keep its territories leading to a three way Cold War between the West, East and Mediterranean. Uprising: Germany plunges into a Civil War and Hitler and the Nazi government get executed leading to Germany becoming communist but not allying itself with the Soviets. Fascist Britain ending: Oswald Mosley becomes leader of Britain and joins the axis powers however the USA gets involved and creates Operation Sea Lion to invade the UK which succeeds. WW2 ends in 1947 and the new UK government and policies become more Americanised like Japan irl. Bonus nutty ending 1980s Sci Fi Action Movie ending: WW2 doesn't happen until 1984. Hitler is a cloned android and the Nazis are deep in succeeding in their Nuclear Weapons programme. After invading Switzerland, US President Ronald Reagan and UK Prime Minister Margret Thatcher declare war on The Third Reich with the USSR joining later in the year. Its also revealed that Henrich Himmler's (whos a Vampire now) occult practices have led to the creation of Nazi Zombies as an attempt to win the war.
Tight Pants Endings: *The Toothbrush Having Mustache Austrian Man Decides To Wear Tight Pants Like Napoleon And Successfully Conqueres The World And Becomes Immortal With No Side Effects.*
How does Vichy france become an italian client? Just wondering that because they were a strictly neutral power in the otl and were likely going become dominated by germany once the ended the occupation in the north.
Early Soviet ending: the soviets back a communist Poland, so when the Germans invade Poland, the soviet army overwhelmed the German forces and Germany was forced into a 2 front war early and the allies and soviets get an easy win
RIP Europe, Asia, and Africa in the High Castle timeline because they are screwed without the Mediterranean sea because the other 3 seas will dry up as well due to the water not being able to reach that far inland the entire center of the continent will have a desert which the world hasn't seen since Pangea,
0:07 Для меня, лучшая концовка. Нет войны Рейха и СССР, Япония так или иначе проиграет. Холодная война имеет три стороны конфликтов и победа США менее вероятна чем в нашем мире. И Германия отомстила Французам за первую мировую.
