It's not really a poser though is it? Only an elitist gatekeeper gives two fucks about someone wearing a t-shirt. That classic metal aesthetic of these t-shirts is what is fashionable and appealing to them, it really doesn't matter what the band is. Only valid points are what Dino has expressed on the matter - anything else is the metal community needing to grow up a bit imo.

@@simongander3089 Yea, i'm with @123612100 in this. I mean, at the end of the day, people were whatever they want to were. I know that and got no problem with it. Still, i think this thing of people from "other realms" wearing metal bands shirts is "now" a trend and in some ways just another way of these people ( like the Kardashians) to create some buzz and/or controversy along the way. Don't forget that some people live off of it. Not to mention that are plenty of hard core shirts (along other stuff) that aren't from metal bands for sale also.

Metal shirts weren't popular in my day. You wore them because you were a metal head and rolled with the metal crowd and you were a fan of the bands you wore. People can do what they like. But its wierd to wear metal shirts cause you "like the letters" idk maybe we made it cool.
