Thanks for the video and commentary. Nice to see sedan racing somewhere. We used to race sedans on parking lot tracks and indoors on carpet but it's been gone for a while.

I asked because it seems all escs are set to linear and if they're to be kept at linear why then have an option to either "no" or "custom". I'm thinking that if I changed the esc throttle setting from linear that the esc would take all the instructions from the radio alone. It seems that having the esc set to linear and the radio with a custom throttle curve wouldn't that be contradictory?

If the ESC has a curve adjustment for the throttle, it works the same as the curve (Exponential) for the steering.
You are right that it does exactly the same as the radio that has a curve adjustment. Some radios do not have that function on the throttle, so having it in the ESC is exactly the same.

Hi Nick. I have a ? about a setting in the radio and the esc. I'm involved with 13.5 blinky racing and I wanted to know the setting in the es that deals with throttle curve set default to linear or no or linear or custom in others how does that relate to the same setting in the radio if setting a curve. I'm thinking linear is straight/default and when you change the radio setting to either a concave or convex curve how does that affect the esc setting that's at default linear? I wanted to know if I set the esc to no instead of yes to linear if it would then take all throttle instructions from the radio solely. It was a thought I had recently.

The radio curve is just changing the position of the throttle stick ( trigger). It is just like your finger is moving the stick at a slightly different position.
