When you leave ethanol fuel sitting, it turns to varnish and gums up the jets in the carb. That's why it took so long to start. It's not the motors fault. I've ruined a few lawn mowers by leaving untreated fuel in them. Also, get a product called pump saver. It'll protect the pump from rusting. Those pumps are stupid expensive
Best thing u can do so it's easy to start year after year is when you know you are not going to use it for a while (a month, 2,3,6,8 etc) is let the engine run itself out of gas. Most people do not want to bother to drain the fuel so just let it run, do something else and come back when it stops. It's better than fuel stabilizer and better on the fuel lines.
You are very determined. Maybe try some engine starter fluid ($3.00) next time. Not sure if there is a fuel cut off switch on that unit but if so turn off the fuel switch and let the engine starve itself off after use. Keeps the carb nice and clean. For long period of non use keep a few ounces of TruFuel in the fuel tank. Will start much easier, then add fresh gas. Best of luck with that shoulder bet it was sore.
Mine would won't start after in storage for 1.5 years. It turn over with starter fluid but dies immediately. Next see if the jets clogged up in the carb, that's for another day.
Lmfao. Dude a 1 year review is when you use something for one year and say how it still works. Not let it sit for a year with no maintaining what a weirdo!
oolaay is right when you are done for the day switch off the gas feed and let the motor die on its own from lack of gas you dont have to empty the tank just add the amount of stabil to the tank for the amount of gas left in it. If you going to store it over 6 months. Also i have heard you need to use a product called "powercare" it lubes the O rings use it at the end of the washing season once a year it will make your unit very happy. One last thing with battery starters dont just crank and crank it will damage the starter. You can use a product that I wont mention in the air cleaner that will help. ruclips.net/video/a1zg04pYIz8/видео.html Here is a link to the product review
Always engage the wand at the same time you start the motor. The pressure left in the hose will make it harder to start. Watch the magic happen.
I didn’t use mine for 2 years. I did use pump saver and ran the gas to empty. Started right up!

Chad Greenwood thanks for the suggestion
Chad Greenwood he is not holding the trigger on the pistol which doesn’t help the start

Title: “How not to care for a engine and improper winter storage 101”
Do you think it's to powerful to wash a car with? Have you ever blown off any paint or trim pieces?
Get 2100 pst or lower for car
Lost 10 lbs just getting it started
Lmao 😂 90minutes later work out program
mine is leaking gas at the carburator after 2 years
Alright, so I couldn't get mine started.... how long did it take you to get it started?
Same here. I should have returned it
@@sksieber Mine wouldn't start until I put a quick spray of starting fluid into the air intake. Started up right away after that
Stabilize your fuel and store it properly.
What a pain😫
Cure...you can bypass you lowflow on front yard hose buy commercial grade 100’ hose with nosel and eliminate all that noise🤣😎
Juz Say’n
Ethanol free gas might cost a bit more but that's all you be using in any small engines..
