- I purchased a totaled 2010 Daytona 675 on facebook marketplace, it didn't need any major work just minor repairs and I made the color scheme after Ducati.

Kudos for restoring it with basic tools and methods!
Nice job, very few people would even think of tackling a job like this, really nice job, nice to see you given this bike a second chance instead of ending its days on some junk yard👏👏👏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎😎😎 greetings from Florida

Love it just looks so easy when your doing it gives me inspiration 👍
When you have smoke coming out of your exhaust that is a pretty good indicator for one of three things. There is either condensation for example in the winter, you could be burning oil, which shows by a blue-ish tone in the smoke or which seems the case here, you are burning coolent water, so ride a little and check your coolent levels. If it drops you might need to redo your cylinder or head gasket. The colour of your oil definitely shows, that there is water (as soon as your water gets milky, there is water in it) but that might also be the case if the bike stood outside in the rain (stil rather unlikely) so you should check the oil as well after running the engine for a couple kilometers.
Greetings from Germany. Keep it up! 👍👍
Very hard working guy love you brother....

Nice work on the bike! was that a glock strapped to your leg on the drive buy?
Great fing job.......
What side mirror is that?
It's a shame I couldn't watch all of that but I had to turn the volume up to hear what you were saying, then I got deafened by the annoying music, after turning the volume up and down three times I gave up.

HEy bro If you liked this i'm rebuilding a BMW S1000RR check it out.
Hey man I am about to start rebuilding my Yamaha R6 2009 Edition. I have a few tools but are there any basic tools that I will certainly need to disassemble and reassemble the bike that are motorcycle specific? I currently have an air compressor Jacks to lift the bike up as well as a few socket sets but are there any specific tools I will need it that everyone needs when disassembling a motorcycle?
It really depends on how far youre breaking it down, But for the most part that’s all you really need, I like to have a set of Allen key sockets, torque wrench, if you’re disassembling the motor you’re gonna need a clutch basket tool preferably and a soft blow hammer is always nice.
there is definately something going on with the engine on this bike, milkshake oil and smoke out of the exhaust... i pity the guy who bought it lol
Well if he didn't know then, he does now... that milkshake life man 5:42
Hahahahhahaa he didn’t even realize about it thou
Probably just a blown headgasket, otherwise the engine would be running way rougher than it is. Easy enough to fix when you can grab the head with one hand and pull it off the bike haha.
I ran it a lot after this and didn’t show any signs milky oil after this.
@@kezyncalixtro843 lol I did...
I'm in the process of rebuilding one now. But I javelin a question. Why was the oil milky? Was it because of the accident?
Not really sure, it sat for a while at the salvage yard. I replaced the fluids and ran it a while and it was fine!
I've looked for the mirrors, would you happen to have a link for them? What brand and type of paint did you use for the rims and subframe? I'm about to tear my bike down and do a complete transformation and I'm digging the red.
Tevin Thomas theyre on eBay try typing in aluminum sport bike mirrors, i’m not really sure some aerosol can from the auto parts store hopefully I’ll start using real paint with a sprayer soon. Yeah I’ve always been a fan of red it’s an eye catcher.
My name is Benjamin too!
Might wanna keep the tires off the next time for better paint space?
Hey, I having issues with my 2009 daytona. Despite changing rectifier and strator coils.. they always won't last for more than a year. Any suggestions on how to i get it done?
Husaini Yusoff I’ll try to help, send me an email about all the details of the problem and I’ll see if I know.
Yes, don’t buy the cheap stuff
I have a Danny eslick 675r I just bought and I think I'm getting fuel in oil you have any idea what would cause that , maybe from injector idk , I don't have a dealer anywhere me to service it .
Tommy Dillon hmm very interesting situation, are you sure it’s fuel and not coolant ? Email me it’s in my bio and I might beable to help more
Hi,
Let me ask you a question, if i may
On 10:37; what`s the product you used on the headlights?
Ty
Rafael Brauner I actually re-clear coated them
Nice work mate, but i have 2 questions:
1. Why was the Oil looking like a chocolate milkshake!?!?
2. How did it pass inspection without side indicators on the fairings?
Ride safe!
Upgrade Addiction that bike probably has head gasket failure, coolant gets mixed with oil and turns brown like chocolate.
Upgrade Addiction yeah water was in the oil but there wasn’t a gasket leak, turn signals are not a requirement for bikes in Alabama
@@Benjamminoutdoors that it hilarious!! So u wave with hands?😅
Hey bro wondering about how much you picked her up for at the salvage yard? I do all my own work on my bike and I’d definitely be interested in picking up a project to have fun with for the right price
Nathan Higgins I actually bought it off of a guy who bought it from a salvage auction, so I paid more for it unfortunately, I paid $2200
Its look like a brand new bro
do you have problems with potential customers and it being a salvage title?
Dennis Gonzalez nah selling it wasn’t too bad at all.
Love the color scheme but I bet that spray paint didn't last but 6 months b4 it starting chipping and peeling off
Is it safe to bend the frame back like that and then ride it?
jordan barnett The sub frame does not affect anything other than what you’re sitting on.
What did you spray on the headlights?
Clear coat, I should have just polished it up but didn’t know that at the time.
Mantapppp
Hi.! What was the thing you spray on Headlights?
clear coat, cause i had to sand them.
👍👍
Please quick question... Is this bike worth it in 2019?
Hell yeah
Wow
you're fantastic
Aswin Prasad thanks!
What coat did you applied on the headlights
Chirag Solanki clear coat
Ok 👍👌
How hard is it to get the Al motorcycle license? I’m thinking about learning how to ride
Andrew Jones not hard it’s just a written test
What the music called?
how many bike do u have
why is mudshake coming out of engine instead of engine oil?
7245bcw cause some water got in the oil
Aside from the spray can paint, good job. No doubt u u painted it well but it wont last haha
I subbed ! I love the bike rebuilds , what do you do with the bikes after rebuild ?
Hey_there_its_me thanks bro! I drive/sell them.
Benjamminoutdoors awesome ! Keep it up !
How can you ever know that it's alined without using a frame straitened.it's even more important in a motorcycle compared to a car. And you did it with your truck and a Cumberlong? Wow
It’s a sub frame it’s not that big of deal, the frame itself was not bent. The only thing the sub frame is used for is to sit on and hold all the electronics.
music used ?
Awesome as always bud do you add much on when you sell them
Yes enough to make a profit
It will be beautiful without cover
The oil definitely had water in it. Cracked block , gasket or it had been submerged in water and never changed the oil afterwards. Bad news for someone.
feco n there was water in oil but wasn’t cause leaking gasket or cracked block, I drove for couple hundred miles after and it didn’t get any in, when it was in salvage yard it prob got water in oil.
How did you learn how to do that. And is it cheaper to do that than just buy a motorcycle.
I purchased one of these kits from them and I plan on building a street legal R6 using this kit and 2017 Headlight and Tail light. Gonna be going over how I do everything. Parts get here October 1st.
Paint weight on wheel frame red...what will next owner do when he replace wheels and balance them? Its gynna be black spot. Beautifull work overall but carelessly.
Max V yeah it was lazy on my part...
Had to subscribe! All about the Benjamins💴💴💴🤬what them haters say!!
NPJS OG haha thanks!
BRO I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO HERE BUT THAT LACQUER WILL COME OFF THEM HEADLIGHTS QUICK. SHOULD'VE KEEP BUFFING THEM TILL YOU GET THEM CLEAR.

I agree shit was slightly earrapey
Hey guys I'm Rebuilding a BMW S1000RR Feel free to check it out and Audio is good :P
Ye, so sucks!
Bang, becak gua crash, bisa di rebuild kagak?
That oil doesn't look good at all, either that bike was flooded or even worse, gaskets are leaking and you have coolant in the oil, you need to open up that engine...
Tahitian Rider I thought the same but i ran it a lot after the oil change and it was fine, it was totaled so it sat at the salvage yard for a while so I’m pretty so it got in through oil cap or something.
15 ft old bass boats from 1979 and stuff
old rangers and and other brands fiberglass boat repair on here
I need help rebuilding my dayto :( came out sick though bro !
Aldo Regalado thanks man if you got any questions my emails in my bio.
Geometree?
Love the videos!! Are all of the bikes that you work on Copart bikes?
Thanks! And I’ve never purchased a bike from copart. But this is my only “salvaged” title bike.
@@Benjamminoutdoors can’t ever find any good enough deals to justify a rebuild. Maybe one day.
@@bradleyford987 It’s not easy, it takes a long time of browsing day and night to find them and you have to hop on them immediately.
@@Benjamminoutdoors yep I’ve learned that lesson already. I’ve had a few slip through my fingers.
@@bradleyford987 just a few days ago I let a Ducati 848 slip through my hands it basically just needed a set of fairings and it was $5000 off of the typical retail... I was so mad at myself.
👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😘
Bike for sale. One lady owner from new, never dropped and no expense spared
You do know the Daytona has a steering stabilizer already built in right. I own a 08 Daytona 675. I would also never spray paint my wheels.
Kyle dion It was removed because the GPR is a better stabilizer
@@Benjamminoutdoors gotcha.
