  • Toquerville Falls, wow, finally made it! This and Black Bear are probably the longest running on my list of to-do's. Photos of this place pop up all the time and it's easy to see why. VERY cool place and a totally refreshing end to my long trip. I took the "easy" way in which still has a bit of difficulty and can be made even harder than I've shown here in at least two places. Once I got to the falls there was only one person there (whatup Dirt_lurker!) and he was headed out of the hole so I had the lower pool to myself. I wasn't planning on swimming with the long drive ahead but it seemed real silly not to. When I was just about to leave and get some shots people pulled in from all directions, classic haha. Glad I got the one shot on the way out but I wish I had like 2 more minutes alone, oh well, had a perfect swim so can't complain. Have fun out there!

    My Tires:
    amzn.to/3h7cZ25
    I love these tires. The only others I'd take are the BFG KO2 but they don't make them in this size and the KM2's are amazing. You can probably imagine the amount of driving I do weekly and how much abuse my tires get. These things last, everyone knows this, you've seen it in my videos.
    My Tire Deflators:
    amzn.to/3o5O9RT
    These tire deflators have many $15 copies but the others just don't hold up or are inaccurate. I don't know what the deal is, they look identical to me too but read the reviews- they're bad. I've been using these Staun's for over a year and never had a problem, I air down a lot. Set them at the trail so your tires will be the same temp when you get to the trail next time.
    My Compressor:
    amzn.to/3epo9xB
    There are better ones but I'd just get a bigger VIAIR, not something different. Airs up all my 33's from 14psi to 37psi in less than 10 minutes.
    My Microphone:
    amzn.to/33iLw5w
    My microphone is the worst good mic you can get. BUT don't be fooled, it's a very good mic. Picture me getting in my car for the 50th time after I just ran up and down a hill... for the 50th time. Do you see me disconnecting my mic and gingerly setting it in a case? No. It stays connected to the tripod, gets thrown into my plastic cargo area and bounces around with other heavy items until the next one. It gets terrible interference from WiFi so you must make sure that it's off on your camera or phone. If you are trying to use this with your phone you need to get a TRS to TRRS cable which RODE makes. This is required because your phone will think the mic is headphones.
    My Tripod:
    amzn.to/3erbA4G
    I went through 2 tripods in 1 month, a $20 and a $30. Buy it nice or buy it thrice. This thing gets opened and closed MANY times per week in rain, snow, dirt, and even in the middle of rivers. I love the 2-stage legs so i can make it real low in 2sec instead of shortening all the legs.
    My Drone:
    amzn.to/3epqIQ9
    You can tell how easy it was to progress through my videos. Besides maybe five times, you've seen every bit of flying since I got it. I don't fly in the city and I don't go to the mountains and not make a video. It is VERY easy to use.
    My Drone ND Filters:
    amzn.to/3bq7RTh
    The filters are a must. Again I have the worst ones and I am still very pleased. My first use was video #35 and I think it is very apparent. Illinois Gulch (#34 obviously) has a completely white sky, way too much blue. I'm still not even good about selecting the right one or changing them out but it's 10x better than nothing.

    We’re going to Utah next week! What’s the campground at the end of the video? Was planning on doing BLM camping at Hurricane Cliffs or Sheep’s Bridge since it should be warmer than Bryce Canyon which is where we were initially thinking of going

    Nice video, we plan on doing this trail in May. Though by Utah standards this trail is easy, do you recommend airing down at all? I have a Tacoma Off Road and just not sure if it’s worth the time to mess with the tires? Thank You from Kansas!!!

    • @BRollOffroad
      @BRollOffroad  2 года назад +1

      absolutely, but i also air down on anything over like 3 miles, easy or not, just for comfort/wear and tear. have fun!

    Another wonderful video! I’m wondering, are there inherent dangers to removing your sway bars? Thinking highway driving and high speed stuff. I’m wanting to get my own xterra and want to do some of the same mods you’ve done. Thanks man.

    • @BRollOffroad
      @BRollOffroad  3 года назад +1

      there are… it handles worse in the sense that it leans over faster and easier in corners. it never handled that well to begin with and was able to lean that far if pushed hard enough WITH the sway bars on. it’s not that big of a deal for me anymore because i haven’t had them on the last 3 vehicles and because my driving style is much different than when i had a hatchback. there are also a few scenarios where on-road is improved so i dunno, it all depends on weight, springs etc.

      You can’t just temporarily disconnect the sway bar like in a wrangler and push it out of the way with the xtierra?

      @@BRollOffroad oh sweet. I remember my buddy telling me that there are some cool trails on, around, or in Zion but I haven’t looked into it. He said the old owner of Poison Spider leads groups through it and I think you have to hire the guide service.

      thanks! the house i’ve been renting for 6yrs is getting sold and it was looking pretty dire, like $600 more a month for something half the size and further from work. out of nowhere my buddy said he had place for rent in Ridgway for a small increase so it was a no brainer. excited and nervous! haha.

    Did this trail back in 2017, it was pretty rough and slow. I think I'd rather walk it than drive 😂 Looks like its been graded since I went.

    • @BRollOffroad
      @BRollOffroad  2 года назад

      maybe you took the hard way? there are 2 ways in, definitely seemed recently graded though, thought the easy way was supposed to be a little harder.
