There is also NO RULE IN LAW that a person being being harassed and intimidated must wait until they are struck before defending themselves (R v Deana, 2 Cr App R 75). You repeatedly backed away, and the Constable entered your personal space on more than 2 occasions. In these situations you are allowed to preemptively take reasonable action to defend yourself and try to dissuade the person further committing offences.

I've lived on Bournemouth for nearly 6 years didn't even know we had a police force nowhere to be seen when a crime goes down
