Key depletion should be gradual with each Feat of Strength rather than just 2850 rating. So Conquerer it won't deplete bellow 4, Master it won't deplete below 7, Hero it won't deplete below 10. Etc. That would mean when you get a Feat you're now 'qualified' for that key level range and don't have to do it again. Would be quite fun as a ladder to build yourself up.
These tank changes really are underwhelming. Next season dungs have big pulls (minus ToP) and tanks still have white issues. However, prot pala as an outlier got hella buff while at the same time nerfing BDK and brew by lack of action and directly nerfing prot war due to spending rage also decreasing avatar's CD
Yeah I'm hoping these are just the first round of changes and that we also see a rework to the tank 2p bonus, but we'll have to see how everything feels once the PTR is actually available.

Ok if i remeber right, 2850 is the rating you have when you timed every dungeon on a +12. Now, when i push to 13 it still depleeds. Ok my key can't go below 12 but if I play another key from a team mate or pug then my +12 it will still depleed even if I am in that group right? For me this means this doesn't help anyone right? I mean if someone it progressing below +12 it still depleeds. If someone id progressing at +19 I don't think this people have the fear to ever depleed from 19 down to something lower then +12. So who does this change help? Even if I progress from 11 to 12 I don't have the rating and the key depleeds. When reaching the achievement you are progressing +13 and this key depleeds. To be honest when my key depleeds from 13 to 12 we progress the key of a team mate so no need to upgrade a +12 except for crests or vault runs.
Currently this seems to mainly be targeted at helping alts since the bonus is account wide, but I do agree that I wouldn't be unhappy if this was just baseline how keys worked, just to make pugging in the 2-12 bracket (which is the vast majority of M+ keys) a bit less toxic and intimidating.

pretty worried about the prot warrior changes. I understand and agree with their intentions regarding dumping rage for more effective avatar use, but the problem with how they've addressed it is that we're likely going to see a big reduction in avatar uptime which is horrible for our damage. also way harder to generate on demand rage at the start of a pull. speaking as an exclusively M+ tank this whole set of changes seems like has been done exclusively with raid in mind.
For Raze replacing Maul. The talent tree on the 11.1 ptr calculator states that Raze does 59.63% ( of Attack Power ) dmg to all enemies in front of you, is increased by 100% when striking a single target and is reduced beyond 5 targets. I'd still rather have the option of pressing one or the other but can't say I'm completely against it either.
Yeah this is fine imo, but it does have the funny side effect of making Raze better than Maul in ST (at least with current tuning) so you'd actually want to take it in pure ST situations.
Keys not depleting is massive. It will promote an entirely new mentality towards doing M+, a wipe that would usually end a whole run should just be a "okay guys what have we learned, let's go again" mentality because you get to face the same challenge and learn from it.
the 11.1 PTR datamine class change for Blood DK I read on WoWHead also stated bDK aura value is buffing 165 - do you see that being significant benefit for bDK? Unfortunately does not look like any physical DR benefit but damage/healing & DS buff could help, if value buff is significant
Will have to wait and see until PTR servers are actually up and I get to play all the specs with the changes. Definitely gonna make a video reviewing the 6 tank specs in January and discuss things more indepth there!
Love your content, but I am kind of surprised the analysis was so light on the Prot Warrior nerfs. I understand it was a long video and maybe this will be addressed in a separate video later, or you are waiting to get a feel after testing it, but there is going to be many unintended consequences that aren't aligning with the stated goal of reducing rage overflow and spam that we don't need to test to understand. Like less damage from many different sources (shield slam procs/less Avatar uptime/less rage for executes, etc) and harder to start packs with shield block uptime with removing rage from shield charge/demo shout not being enough rage on it's own to cast shield block. I know you have a very in-depth understanding of the class, which is why I was expecting a little more.
As you guessed I plan to do a full video on tanks once I actually test things out on the PTR itself in the new year, just because I don't want to jump to any conclusions on how something may affect a playstyle when I haven't actually played it myself. Will definitely have something more indepth for you at some point in January hopefully!
Overcapping rage is more prominent for Mountain Thane than it is for Colossus. But these changes impact both. I'm interested in seeing how these feel on the PTR but my first read is Colossus will remain unviable in m+ and may become difficult to manage in Raid.
My guild has a Keystone Legend 'guild achievement' for reaching 3K rating. I've posted about it elsewhere and said repeatedly its a shame there are no achievements between 2.5K and the top 0.1%. Seems like they have listened! I should get comission :D
Since my mates have stopped playing relatively early this season I find it pretty hard to pug my way up to getting +10 done in all dingeons. 4/8 so far. Last week I didnt time a 10 so I got a 9 key. Noone plays +9 because there is no incentive, so I lowered tit to 8. Then my internet went out for a couple of minutes (thanks telecom) early into that key and when I got back my group was disbanding. Now I have a +7, which I don't need or want to play. Key depletion is not a fun mechanic for me at all. Just let me lower it if I want to or at least stop it from going lower at specific levels 7 down to 4, 10 down to 8 and so on, in conjunction with the level of crests that drop there.
People have requested the elimination of key depletion and they do it if you get a. 2850 rating. I’m a casual and likely will never see that rating. I likely won’t see a 12 key. This is another slap in the face for the casual Paying player cause the same toxic bs will continue if I’m running a 8 or 5 and the narrator is off base making it seem like it’s massive!! It’s not unless you’re an elite!!
i with they would add similar achievments for +4 +8 and this +12. i read this achievment differently. for me below 12 means from 12 to 11. otherwise that would make no sense for "key pushers" which is this achievment for. adn the druid class tree changes are SICK!. they could have added convoke to the class tree because resto ist the only one considering this talent in spec tree atm. we still have usless talents but its much much better now. Next remove those 3 beserk talents an put it into incarn. no one plays only beserk :D.

I think this new tier set bonus is great BECAUSE they simply cannot keep inventing a new amazing way to play every spec for every class every season on top of the massive spec trees AND hero talents its just not realistic. This seasons tier bonus for every class was the most underwhelming the game has ever seen. Which at this point i think it would be much more interesting if they focus more on unique pieces of gear or like have items with tertiary stats on them. The randomness of tertiary stats is really annoying too. But they really bit off more than they can chew with hero talents why would they add 11 more talents when they are always struggling to balance the existing 100 talents

dinars at 17-19 is to late to matter also it only being for the raid and raid loot >_>. nothing for M+ in terms of targeting gear with dinars missed again blizzard. the depletion being only for 12 and below is pointless if you need to basically hit 3000 most 1%er players wont care about this and the average player base wont even get to 2850 for it to matter plus if there already doing the 14's and 15 why go bother going lower? also next seasons tiers are just poorly designed. another massive miss by blizzard. 2/10 patch notes.

Only the neckbeards are getting AOTC or KSM before their 4 set. So a catalyst charge is more usable for most people.
