I don‘t usually comment but I just wanted to say I don‘t know why you haven‘t blown up as a creator yet, other than playing an off meta tank. Your videos are super visually pleasing, have great pacing and you have an enjoyable voice. Also, coming from a teacher, you‘re a great educator. Really looking forward to more stuff, especially routing and commentary videos helped me out a ton!
Not as long as Elunes' Chosen without Tooth and Claw, Vicious Cycle and Raze is optimal in M+. I'm a huge sucker for Guardians' fantasy of stomping around as a big angry bear (or in my case as a Zandalari Troll, dinosaur) but by the Loa that no Maul/ Raze build is BORING. As long as actually using your entire baseline offensive kit is suboptimal for Guardian there's no way that I'm going to main it (and that's a double bummer considering that fact that I feel the current iteration of Feral is about the best it's ever been. Only thing I'd like for that spec is a Death Mark (Assa Rogue)-like talent to do burst damage with bleeds, maybe as a triple choice node with Incarn and Convoke?).

Whenever they nerf prot warrior they take it too far. This is an absolute horrible change to Pwar. Rage starved, less Avatar, less survivability and DPS.

I dunno man. I literally cannot agree with what you say for BDKs.. They're literally the worst tank right now, and are extremely miserable to play in high keys. They genuinely can't sustain themselves once you hit a certain key level, it is absolutely miserable. BDK -ABSOLUTELY- needs adjustments, or even a rework to how their kit plays. If they want to keep the "heal yourself with no real defensive" route, then bone shields need to provide significantly more mitigation. The fact that there are little to no changes speaks volumes on how incompetent blizzard is with balancing. (which was never a secret of course) But the huge disparity between tanks when it comes to M+ is pretty laughable, honestly. And it almost always comes down to a single thing: which tank does more for the team? In this case, prot paladin's control is quite significant. In DF, it was vend DH because of how insanely broken their sigils were at keeping mobs perma CC'd. Almost every tank can easily survive high keys. But thats the fun part, blood DK quite literally can't.
I'm really interesting how 2-piece bonus will work for tanks that rely on parrying and dodging. Does parry/dodge will still count as "taking damage"? Or there may be situations when you parry/dodge for a few seconds and "can't" proc the 2-piece bonus.(as it was on start of the season with 1st boss in SV when you can parry his debuff 4-5 times in a row that gives 50% damage reduction after being dispelled)
Most of the time these are tuned to ppm (proc per minute) meaning it’s controlled randomness, where taking damage is the trigger, but the odds are fixed in a way where it will make sure you’re proccing it a certain amount of times within a given timeframe.
I don't think that's how it works. It's worded really poorly so you could be right and that was what I was originally thinking but after reading the other sets I think 'Luck of the Draw' is just the overall proc. It then casts IBF for 4s and the extended 2s is just for the 'Luck of the Draw' proc uptime (i.e. the damage buff). Either way the DK set stinks.
They actually might have more procs considering the 4-set is so much weaker than that of other tanks. 2 empowered Blackout Kicks is nothing compared to having a 50% increased crit chance on Shield Slam for 10 secs (for a crit focused build that means Shield Slam will have an approximately 85% crit chance) and every Shield Slam crit reducing the CD of Shield Charge by 6 seconds.
I'm pretty sure someone has thought hard about those warrior changes before pushing them through. Not sure if said person was on glue or shrooms though ;)
Im gutted by these prot war nerfs. I've really enjoyed Colossus in Mythic Raid, but I've never had excess rage, if anything I've struggled to have enough. These shortsighted changes will kill Colossus.
I like it. I agree that there are problems but I’m often tanking m+ and in general it’s nice to have a strong defensive pop off. Would I prefer something like those sets that used to give a damage buff when you use a defensive and would lower the CD of it to encourage use? Yes. Absolutely. Do I mind things being RNG? Nah. Do I find these set bonuses to be thematic to the next season? Absolutely.
if the vdh meta is counted as a true cooldown of the meta there will be a potential to reset the sigil of fire and to replay with the talent which reduces the cooldown of the sigil, and with its reduction of the cooldown of sigils and return to vdh season 3 with less cheating
They should really give something to warrior to pre build some rage or something. Pally Druid vdh have something like that and it would really bring happiness to the warriors lol. Like make it where when you enter combat your first ignore pain costs no rage. Something to that effect

Thing is, we have hit times when we are the dominant tank. We had a period in season 1 in DF and WW where everyone wants to roll Pwarr. The issue I have is where some of the other tanks have something wrong or feeling off they normally get a nice buff to half their toolkit to compensate (Brew monks I feel for you). Especially when prot paladin is not having that many changes considering its recent buffs and massive utility They need to stop nerfing tanks and buff up the weaker ones. WW m+ feels bad, having to rely on your healer watching your every move. Thats before all my rage gets taken away from me
Brm doesn't need a rework. But I do think there are certain talents and abilities that do need a tweaked. Ones in particular how we interact with chi orbs. The scaling on our self healing should be more smoothed out, esp for M+ key scaling.
@@perfectman3077 as others said, brew has some scaling issues in mythic+, needs some help with utility and a fix of all those completely dead talents in the tree. I do not like the argument that brew "can" do high keys when other classes can do that a lot easier and bring more to the table for the group. Personally, I would prefer less reliance on self heals - thats something for my DK - and go back to being the most reliable "smooth" tank

I feel the most tanky on brew, as long as you time your abilities proper that is. Blizzard only do 2 types of rework. Changes a bunch of stuff that affect so little it made no changes at all, or make changes that makes the class so stupidly broken that it'll catch the nerfbat soon.

Does anybody actually like these tier set bonuses? not going to make any wild claims like that I'm going to quit, because at it's core WoW is still really fun, but for all of TWW blizzard has just been making one bad decision after another. Was there a change to who is making decisions for the game or something? This expansion has just not been on par.
for bdk rng defensive seems pretty bad since drs are good when when you need it and cant really play around the rng. For the 4 set rng 3 target cleave is just really not it. idk bdk set seems really ass imo
blood dk is a non impactful tier set yet again, doesn't increase mitigation power with useless random proc that the player has no way to control, the fact that the proc on 4pc is only good in 3+targets leaves a lot of "jeez I wish this proc'd at the start of this trash pack" as to the end. death strike still having a debt collection for healing and the fact that bloodshield becomes practically useless in high keys means ill just swap to paladin where the 4pc actually does something to help uptime/mitigation abilities
Wish prot paladins Guardian of Ancient Kings would get a visual update. Not lookig forward to looking like a ghost with ps1 graphics whenever my tier set procs.

Brewmaster is fine. There is a strict rotation that if done incorrectly will result in squishy. This tier bonus is very nice for brew.

Interestingly, the DK 4 piece increases the duration of Luck of the draw by 2 seconds making it equal to the brewmaster "baseline"

Small mistake, the duration is from 4 second to 6 seconds. not 8 from 10. Thats the damage buff NOT the deffensive buff.

Reinvigoration for Druid actually doesn’t increase healing from regrowth and rejuvenation.
It casts them on you with 200% effectiveness. 😁
