@cheebahjones420 M8 they got 1 change throughtout the whole season. and it was a change that about half the brew players even use. Plus this is litterally a major patch with multiple reworks and changes done too basically everything EXCEPT brew. This is actually shocking.
I think and hope that the reason why there was no mention on the brew is because there might be some extreme major changes that would not be ready for 11.1.
as much as we hate losing things in the game, i really wish people would keep asking for tier bonuses to be baseling. because it gets asked every tier. they are meant to be supplemental power that comes and goes.
Aesthetics the first set was black ox, now is jade serpent. Small chance next one is white tiger. Gotta say monk has had the best leather sets overall since introduction.
@ it is a fun ghost pirate but monk stands above it. Also I’m talking overall sets. Monk has just been killing it vs random spikes and often wood. Which are the basic sets for rogues, demon hunters and Druid. That said druid set for season 1 is awesome.
@@James_Johnson79I think the rogue set from this season is pretty sweet. I wish I had time to farm it but my rogue was like my fourth alt and will not catch up. I’ll come back to it later for mog probably since I got the KSH item and I think the effect is pretty cool
@ taste is always subjective. I really love the catalyst for being able to fully collect up an appearance. Which does again highlight that the flightstones are a terrible currency.
tier set mog is sick, tier set bonus is eh.. until we know proc rate and if we double dip with stagger and if talents/herotalents play with it. uncontrollable DR is not exciting for me.
Personally I think they just need to make stagger not DR this early into the expansion. Having Shuffle only be like 70% effective is stupid. I understand their worry of agility getting high and monks hitting 100% stagger but that isnt happening at these gear levels. and would that even be a bad thing if they did hit 100%? other tanks can absorb damage, heal it, or have block. Monk is still going to take all of the damage regardless, it just makes purify better which makes the tankiness better. Mitigating 70% of damage into a DoT that you take anyways doesnt feel helpful when other tanks just mitigate practically the same damage with no repercussions.
Historically, stagger has always been blacklisted from effects like this. If it's not, this might be mediocre at best. If it is, which it most likely will be, it's just bad. "Chance on taking damage" has never been good ever in WoW's history. The 4 piece bonus is interesting, but I'm worried about having enough energy to really take advantage of it, it's going to incentivize using a lot more tiger palms than we normally do and could possibly even shift stat priorities. As it looks now on paper, the ppm needs to be at least 2 or 3 at a minimum to be worth getting excited about.
with the s1 tier set going away we may switch to BoF reset but with BoK hitting so hard on these resets im thinking the decision btw Dragonfire Brew and CP might be contentious
Brewmaster once again getting left in the dust. In M+ Brewmaster has no niche compared to the other tanks, and I suspect that even if brew were to be the "best tank" in terms of defensives or dmg it still would be worse compared to the others because lack of a niche or something they excel at
Before watching goong to drop my prediction. It sucks. Cool that we get 2 extra seconds but it still sucks. Every other tank gets something cool rotationally or a 10 sec buff when it procs and we just get 2 stronger blackout kicks with a shorter cd. It sucks.
@liamdavies2823 still sucks bro. Blood Dks get aoe death strikes. Vdh is the only one who has it worse because they might get an offensive cd reset. Paladins get holy power refunds and extended duration. Guardian druid gets 10 FREE spells and Prot war gets increase crit chance + cdr. We get 2 blackout kicks and we are going to use blackout combo on tiger palm. Wow.
@@deseanroot75 you don't have to use your combo on tiger palm, you will get 3 combos in a row so you could get a 10% damage reduction then a huge absorb from celestial brew, and finish it off with a stagger pause if you're taking a HUGE amount of damage. with regards to the other tanks: for prot warr shield wall is pretty much the same as fort brew accounting for the higher DR vs max health gain and the cdr on shield charge is whatever. for blood it doesn't matter much because they still have to take all the damage to heal through it. for bear it's hard to say until we know what those spells actually are, if it's just a bad convoke and 2-3 of the spells can be a rejuv then is that useful? if they are all guardian spells that would be very good though. i agree that the prot pala one is good, but it's harder to play than others so it deserves it's current spot at the top imo. i think the veng one is pretty good actually, veng heals through doing damage so extra meta uptime and more demonsurges mean both more damage and more healing. the hunt is a great ability to have a HIGH chance to reset alongside these extra meta periods though, more damage and also more uptime on the debuff that heals you for 25% of dmg done to the target

It is very strange how they legit just dont care about buffing brew.
You mean the least played and historically most complicated tank to play is left out of fotm buff cycles? I for one am shocked.

keep dreaming
Sounds too good, they will nerf fortify to keep monks down
I like the sets. They give a lot of transmog potential
