I know I’m late to this but I’m a ukulele player who is left handed and absolutely not it will hold you back forever cause you can only play on Ukuleles you own it is not that hard a matter of fact I might even prefer using my dominant hand to fret
What tuning are you using on the banjolele? Is that just standard? I feel mine sounds more like a uke than a banjo even when plucking what am I doing wrong here??
Marga H ....It is tuned and played same as uke, much louder and lends itself to banjo picking and hammering and frailing, but restricted by that C string, can't get any lower. Depends on the tune, some just don't fit.
