WOW! Tramaine Jonathan. His melody stuck out so much that it's made me want to listen to it over and over again. It's quite beautiful. Very well constructed.
My vote goes to Jordan Wynn without doubt. A great balance between a perfect technique (same as other contenders) and a great and well thought melody. I appreciate a lot the effort to think about melody when you know that the other contenders are going to play scales and arpeggios at the speed of light. His use of open strings are very clever. Tramaine, 100%. He is technical, super clean, tone nailed down, and most importantly he has FEEL and melody in the face melting solo, which is the perfect merriment of shredding in my opinion.

11:22 NOAH CRENSHAW and 14:22 LWANDILE PRUSENT absolutely blew me away! I think Noah's solo was incredibly creative and had a crazy tone. Lwandile also showed great chops and an amazing, less distorted tone. You guys rock absolutely hard!! Special mention to Spiro Dussias and his CARELESS shreddy solo!
I don't ever normally write comments, but Noah Crenshaw 11:22 definitely has this one in the bag. Everyone here is incredibly talented and such excellent guitarists.
