Thank you thank you thank you for this video! My bag needs an insert but since I kind of know my way around a sewing machine I decided to search up a tutorial and I checked online everywhere for a tutorial for this exact insert…& nothing. Until I finally came across your video! God bless you! Thank you so much for your tutorial! You’re a life saver! 😅
Great tutorial! I have a tote which sags so much that I need this organizer, but I also need it to be sturdy enough to hold up instead of sagging. Do I need to add some stiffer or I was thinking I have some of those embroidery plastic things that people use for embroidery, or maybe just some boning on the corners? Your expert reply, or any of the followers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.
I know this video was ages ago but Thank You for this. So cute and simple. I rarely buy tote bag because they end up a black hole of lost things, but this will definitely solve that!
Your video is he best. I was just going to make one with just the sides and have the bottom loose, but you have changed my mind. Thank you for the video !
This is an awesome tutorial and it looks very easy to fallow. I just got my Louis Vuitton alma BB and Amazon has the inserts for too much money. I’m gonna give it a try and make my own one. Thank you for sharing!
What a great tutorial! I just hope I can find this stiff felt here in the US. I’m desperate for an organizer for my LV bucket bag and the custom one I ordered doesn’t fit at all.
Thank you for this tutorial 😍 I saw your video yesterday at midnight and went right after to make it for my backpack ! The result is amazziinnngggg love it !
I recently purchased a pattern to make one and the instructions and pattern were so complicated, I can't figure it out. Yours makes so much sense. thank you!
I'm very impressed. Thank you for this tutorial. If I can find confidence on sale somewhere, I'll give it a go. Good luck to you, and thank you for being so generous in sharing with us all.
Excellent tutorial! Maybe though you might have mentioned it would be a good idea to fold the pattern and tape the sides closed and test the fit because after all, the dimensions you're taking are from the outside of the bag!
This shouldn't be a problem because you are not adding any allowance to the measurements taken so after sewing, it will be smaller than the bag. Comment is old and you probably no longer care lol but this is for anyone wondering
Omg!! Its So freaking easy! Lol bought one online for my speedy 25 but its making my purse bulky so i need something that is shorter. Its so frustrating to find the right size online.
This is a great video. I definitely want to make my own but can’t find a 3-5mm felt at the fabric store. Only seen 1.5mm on Amazon. Where you find your fabric? Can you share a link? Thanks
Sorry - I don't have a link. I bought it from a fabric store... there wasn't even any real descriptions of the materials in store. I definitely went by feel.
do you know what felt you used specifically? I see that yours is more thick and structured than the ones my craft store has. I'll have to purchase somewhere else, but I just don't know what to search for.
The measurements I used for the small one is: 7.5” length x 5” width x 4” height. This is not including the tabs as you’d cut those off anyway. You can see the measurements / template I used at around 2:40 in the video.
Your idea of the little wings around the sewing edges is genius, makes all the difference with ease and success.
glad you found the video helpful!
I'm making a handbag for my gf and I want to make an organiser too. This is an excellent tutorial, thank you so much!
That's so adorable! How did she react?

Thanks very much for this DIY! I just finished mine and it fits. Now I can't wait to take the "new" bag out for a test drive :).

Serap Bas, I am watching this at 12:30AM. I am also considering busting out my sewing machine right this second! Haha!
I recently purchased a pattern to make one and the instructions and pattern were so complicated, I can't figure it out. Yours makes so much sense. thank you!
Greetings from the UK! Great little project, will definitely make one! Thank you for sharing.

This is awesome...I find this is very helpful for me...keep posting these type of video....thanks
Amazing, congrats you really make it really easy to do it
Grazie mille lo realizzo subito. In una taschina farò una cuciturina per inserire una penna prima di cucire la tasca all'organizer.

Very nice diy
Thanks for the video, I think it's so much easier to have the flaps to sew, it cuts out a lot of steps.
I’m glad you found the video helpful! 💕
Great tutorial, I needed something quick easy and just like this one. Thanks!
Thank you for your tutorial. This is exactly what I’m looking for. 🌸😊
Glad you found it helpful!
Great video and tried it but due to my thin felt, the walls did not stand up...need to use thick or "firm" felt.
😊 Fantastic idea. Thank you.
You make it look so easy!!! Jealous of your creativity and talent. I will just buy mine for my sanity’s sake! 😂
You are absolutely amazing, thanks ❤
Superb.....very well explained.....
Hi there Aleeza, would you consider doing a beginner friendly version, including creating the pattern? Otherwise nicely done.
This is so cute and I can't wait to make one! :D

I love the tutorial it's simple, easy and to the point....
TIA
I based the dimensions of the larger one for the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, it was around 11” length x 8” width x 4” height
aleeza / stylishandliterate thanks Aleeza
Xoxo
I’m impressed on how easy you made that! Thanks for the idea. Do you think that adding some outside pockets would work?
Great tutorial...can't wait to make one
that is totally awesome so quick thanks you

I went to a fabric store - the one I went to sells felt in rolls. Not 100% sure on the weight but it’s probably 3-5 mm thick.
@@stylishandliterate Okay great. I'll keep an eye out. Thank you so much for your quick reply!
Awesome thank you so much 👌👌👌👌👌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏😱😱😱
Can you tell me which material you use for it ?

What is the thickness of the felt debris ?
Lovely!!
Well done!
how many mm thick is that felt ?
Great video!! I love it :)
Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Hi, how thick is the felt? Many Thanks
I don’t recall the thickness, but it is a stiffer felt. it’s a bit more robust than your typical craft felt. if i had to guess it would be about 2-3mm
aleeza / stylishandliterate Many Thanks! Time for shopping ,😀
Can you post the measurements of the small one please? A template would be nice.
The measurements I used for the small one is: 7.5” length x 5” width x 4” height. This is not including the tabs as you’d cut those off anyway. You can see the measurements / template I used at around 2:40 in the video.

I tried making a larger one but it didn't go well. Do you also have measurements for the medium & large sizes??
I based the dimensions of the larger one for the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, it was around 11” length x 8” width x 4” height
What kind of fabric a u using?I guess I bought the wrong fabric
This is just perfect!
What is the brand of the bucket bag?
It’s the mansur gavriel mini bucket bag
Can I sew it my self by hand????
Of course! I’d recommend using a heavy duty thread and a higher gauge needle so you are able to make the stitches taut
What kind of frabic is that you use?
Felt
Yay! Thank you for this!
