I have a question for you. When you’re sewing with metal zippers, do you sew on top of it? How do you keep from breaking your needle?
Thank you! It’s nylon zipper so it doesn’t break your needle. Zippers available in my shop.

I bought what I thought would be a pattern but it is only the instructions and for £9 expect the pattern as well. These are however, very detailed with lots of pictures showing the stages. The difficult part is going down the list of fabric components are they are all listed separately, I felt makes it more difficult to ensure you have the correct sizes. You cannot write on the pattern instructions digitally (I don’t print them to save wastage) as there is a password protect that does not allow this feature so you have to make sure you remember the sizes you are changing it to.

Hi, the pattern does not indicate how to add the pockets to the outside of the bag. Your video at one minute and 50 seconds in shows you measuring and then sewing to put pockets on the front and back of the bag. Do you have an update for the pattern that was purchased? Or am I missing something?
Thank you for letting me know! Depends on the items you most carry, divide in half for one side and three pockets on the other side.

Is your machine specifically equipped to sew through metal zipper? You didn't even need to stop when sewing across the zipper teeth (unless you cut/edited that part out). One reason I wasn't ready for zipper was... last time I sewed your bucket bag, at the thickest part (I used cotton duck canvas fabric for the exterior), I used the multi-tool to help leveling the foot and I SEWED THE PLASTIC TOOL! Actually the needle got caught at the edge of the plastic and the machine groaned loudly before it stopped. Took me a few minutes (and a copious amount of panic sweat) to work the needle out of the jam.
Is is nylon zipper, not metal.

What do you mean by quilting cotton ? Is there another name for it ? in my country it’s hard to find quilting cotton. What is the manufacturing country? And sorry for the many questions.
