- In this episode of The Last Supper, we are focusing on notorious mobster Al Capone's last meal. Fonzo, as he was known to his close friends in the Chicago Outfit and family, dined out on his favourite food, Spaghetti with Walnut Sauce, before passing away from Syphilis at the young age of 48 in 1947.
As we do each week in The Last Supper, recreated in this video was Al Capone’s favourite cocktail, a Southside Fizz. A refreshing cocktail consisting of Gin, Mint and Sugar Syrup, watch me try my hand to cocktail shaking at the end of the video. Thanks a lot for watching.

Keep up the good work. I'm glad I found this channel!
Welcome aboard! Cheers Thomas!
The bread and milk and nutmeg is actually not in Al Capone’s real walnut sauce. Olive oil is the main ingredient for the sauce. 🇮🇹
For someone who loves nothing better than cooking while watching videos of serial killers on RUclips, this is just perfect! Now I can take it one step further! Loving this, spot on mate.
I’m glad you’re enjoying it!
Maaaan your commetary is so gooood. You have no idea how I felt so involved. Keep it up, cheers from Perú!
Thanks so much man! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂 I have a podcast coming out tomorrow so keep an eye out for my post tomorrow on the community tab for that 🎤
I didn't know your channel existed. Thanks for this video man.
Is your day job sports commentator? Not complaining, mind you. This was insanely informative on so many levels.
Shit to a blanket I fucking lost it lol
Your commentary is hilarious and wonderful cooking show and recipe can't wait for more !
Haha I try my best. Glad you had a chuckle or 2.
I was thinking about that hahaha. It´s funny because his comentary is catchy
I believe the walnut sauce he used was derived from the pineal gland
Heyyy!!! Thank goodness I found your channel. Please keep on doing what you do. I really like your concept and your very light and amusing commentary! 💙💙💙
Thanks for the kind words!
I love this! Thank you
I love this
Would white pepper not be better suited to this sauce, or do the walnuts already create dark flecks?
Reckon I could get away with putting the walnuts in a ziploc bag and smashing them with a rolling pin? Chopping nuts takes me forever (bad knife skills and cheap knife, I'm clumsy and broke) but this looks delicious...
I guess it would, but I couldn’t find a walnut sauce recipe specifically from the 40s, so I just used the most popular one on the internet.
The zip-lock bag would work as well, it might take a little longer but you’ll get them fine eventually, let me know how you get on.
I probably didn't get them fine enough, but it turned out all right anyway :-)
Where did you get that table? I've been looking everywhere for one!
Is the sauce supposed to look like thick pour age 🤔?
I guess the consistency is a personal preference, however with it being a pasta sauce I thought it’d be better to have it quite thick, resembling similar creamy pasta sauces.
@@TheLastSupper_yt I've never seen a sauce that thick but I enjoy your channel. Thank you from Arizona, USA..
Great video! from reddit u/19mete96
