Wild Dogs (Tesar/Bolin) Live in Japan 1975 Video Editing by Mimmo WS Italia Taken from Last Cocert in Japan Album. In Memory of Tommy Bolin & Jon Lord.
Teaser was on my turntable for months in 1983 when i discovered it aged 19. I used to listen to it when i was drying my ultra long hair, before i went to meet my friends in town. RIP Grandad, i love you very much, lots of love, Euan🏴
There's no doubt that Tommy was a once in a lifetime talent. But, he sure was prolific in his career and left us a beautiful batch of music to enjoy time and time again!
Tommy B. Such a legend. He would have been main stream as his talent cant be hidden forever. I will always love Teaser and Private eyes. He did so much in such a short amount of time.
R.I.P. Tommy, one for the great that left to soon,💔but such a genius & left us his music to live on, & it must be true they say only the good die young 🙏🏽
I remember a good friend of mine put Teaser on, and the rest is history. I just added 9 more pieces to my Tommy Bolin collection, 3 cds, 3 cassettes, and 3 albums. Now, it's time for part 3 of my video collection.

Amazing at such a young age to have talent like that, to play in a band as big as Purple. But his drug addictions controlled him, and another crash and burn.
While 95% of all Deep Purple Fans see Richie Blackmore as the best guitarist of that band, Tommy Bolin showed with this single solo (and this song) what Blackmore never had: The Blues.
Yeah. Imagine having to play after Joe Walsh in James Gang. He actually wrote and sang a lot of classic stuff before playing for the , Eagles. Not my favorite band. Anyway saw Tommy play for them in Philadelphia at the Spectrum. He was great. Then he played with Purple. I love them. He did a great Jim. Come taste the band rocks. Saw him solo right before we lost him. Tower theater. Put a little of it on my channel. Also UFO 75. With Schenker. Great stuff
Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video on Deep Purple 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RUclips. 😀
This is my favorite Tommy song. Fantastic. Rip Tommy and Jon lord. 😢
RIP Johnny Bolin. He kept his brother's music alive.
I used to play on Johnnys drum set when I was 5 years old in our basement. Sioux City Iowa
One of the best songs in the 70's. Tommy was a genius. We miss you!
A generational talent lost far too soon. An amazing guitarist. I love this song. Miss you, Tommy !!! 😢
Almost fifty years later and people are still just discovering Tommy Bolin and i had the privilege of growing up with this...
Me too
Eu 😅 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
..."For the First Time in Japan..." Heartbreaking that it would be His last time! , Such a great Loss of Talent and Character!!!
Teaser was on my turntable for months in 1983 when i discovered it aged 19.
I used to listen to it when i was drying my ultra long hair, before i went to meet my friends in town.
RIP Grandad, i love you very much, lots of love, Euan🏴
I'm 63 and Deep Purple was a big part of my life and still is!
59.
Almost 50 years after, I still have tears roll down my cheek when I hear things like this.
🇺🇸🎸🇺🇸✝️
You must be a Fellow Traveler
Yep
Dreamer is so amazing. I like Wild Dogs but to me Dreamer is such a masterpiece.
It was a tremendous loss for many our hometown boy from Sioux City Iowa Tommy Bolin❤
There's no doubt that Tommy was a once in a lifetime talent. But, he sure was prolific in his career and left us a beautiful batch of music to enjoy time and time again!
Yes
Tommy's Teaser album is a masterpiece - still listen to it now -what a talent he was !!
The Deep Purple album Come Taste the Band is my favorite album from that band.
И мой
In my opinion, Deep Purple was a different band with Coverdale, Hughes and later Bolin. I love both versions.
Tommy B. Such a legend. He would have been main stream as his talent cant be hidden forever. I will always love Teaser and Private eyes. He did so much in such a short amount of time.
Indeed, these were great albums which I still have the original copies of.
I saw Bolin at The Bottom Line in NY, May of 1976 touring for the Teaser album. Legend!
R.I.P. Tommy, one for the great that left to soon,💔but such a genius & left us his music to live on, & it must be true they say only the good die young 🙏🏽
This is Fantastic!!! Thank you Tommy!!!
I loved Tommy Bolin when I was just 13 years old and still love him now nearly 50 years later. ❤🎸🎤♥️ R.I.P. Tommy Bolin. 🙏💔😭

It’s awesome having this video footage of Bolin , just wish the editing would have been better.
Amazing talent and one of my favorite Bolin songs.
I remember a good friend of mine put Teaser on, and the rest is history. I just added 9 more pieces to my Tommy Bolin collection, 3 cds, 3 cassettes, and 3 albums. Now, it's time for part 3 of my video collection.
the voice and his soul and jazz guitar makes him unforgettable, 2 solo albums finished his work.
Mimmo, fantastic job, piecing those clips together! ❤❤❤❤
Tommy Bolin !!!!
Ohhhhh my God i love love rommy bolin
As a Drifter a Hiker Vagabond Hobo type this Song seriously means a lot to me
My fave Mk.4 song. Although it's not strictly a Deep Purple song, it suited them and they suited it.🙂
Prefer to think come taste the band was a Tommy bolin record too but agree this song is excellent

the candle that burns twice as bright!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT GUITAR PLAYER
So sad. Drugs and alcohol have been the death of many great musicians.
😔🤬
Fucking perfect. Tommy Bolin. 🎸 🎤❤️👌
For me; "Wild Dogs" is his better vocal tune. The acoustic version it's so beautiful too. But I like the most the electric version.🐕🐕🐕🐕🎸🎤
R.I.P. Tommy Bolin
Happy Heavenly Birthday Baby
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bolin and Blackmore have both been tragic figures. Super talented with an inadequate understanding of how to act off the stage.
Addiction
DEEP PURPLE MK 4 would have been an amazing line-up if HUGHES and BOLIN hadn't put drugs first....
come taste the band still my favourite purple album
Addiction
The Bolin family were talented Marc Bolin with Trex and Tommy, 70s Stars and Tommy’s nephew Roland Bolin also doing music. 🤪
Deep Purple would have developed in a great way when Tommy Bolin wouldn't have died so prematurely. Sad!
Legendary

Now are you going a little bit too far. Blackmore is a master. He is a Mount Rushmore guitarist. He could play anything.

Guess, the M4 would have brought much more even than M3 but for Tommy’s passing away
Ich hoffe du hast Ruhe gefunden RIP!❤
When a blind man crys
Such a long line up of good players. Influenced me heavily.
💪
Каша! Ничего особенного!!! Блэкмор лучше в сто раз!!!!!

I saw Tommy many times before Deep Purple. IMHO, his Deep Purple years were his worst. Beautiful song though. 💙
That's off Tommy teaser album also he has an album call Private Eyes best music I've ever heard those two albums are phenomenal phenomenal
Off of last concert in japan?
Yes, that's the one.
Tommy Bolin was a flash and didn't last, that's all
Not Deep Purple - Tommy Bolin!! You got to wnoder what might have been. Somewhere between Hendrix and SRV....
Could’ve been on come taste the band
No question Tommy Bolin was very talented.
Unfortunately this video was NOT authentic....
A true shame.....
ショーケンに見える🤭
playing with a hurt hand ?
An unfortunate result of injecting heroin. Silly boy.
Jon Lord explained in some autobio that TB had a bad fix and could only play bars for a couple of days as his hand and fingers were numb.
Это не Deep Parple.
Three Dog Night they weren t....
So sad
Did Glenn use drugs in Japan ?
Dodgy, Blackmore made the band
and Blackmore left of his own free will....

And really hasn’t been missed
He can't sing - Deep Purple shouldn't have let him get away with it.
Bolin e Huges avevano aperto nuove e incredibili vie per i Deep Purple, poi bloccate dal solito egocentrico Blackmore.
Tommy replaced two icons in two different bands.
